The perfect hotel for a layover at Heathrow. We had booked two connecting rooms on the club floor and they were spacious, clean and comfortable with an array of free goodies such as the expresso machine and light snacks with a turn down service and a good night chocolate. The bathroom was modern and of a good size with space for a tub and shower. Good quality bathroom amenities provided. There were lovely bathrobes too! Car park if needed is reasonably capped at £20 daily. We selected the club floor rooms and the club access was a nice perk. There are two complimentary daily meal services, one serves continental breakfast and the other serves hot canapés in the evening. In between the club lounge remains open with a free flow of drinks and nuts. There is a printer available for guests to use at the club lounge too. We opted to have a full breakfast at the coffee house instead which was was surprisingly good with many gluten free options. Staff were very responsive and friendly and our request for a late check out till 5pm was accorded. Five Stars to Crown Plaza At Heathrow Terminal Four for a great team of staff and a job well done!

We flew in to Terminal 5 from New York and stayed here before heading home to Scotland the next morning. Service was impeccable, room was spotless and dinner was great. Special thanks to Anna on the front desk for her making our check in and travel to and from the hotel so easy and to Clerisa for fantastic service in the restaurant.
The hotel is quite large so a room away from the lifts is really away from the lifts which is what I like. This hotel has the best insulation for an airport hotel I’ve ever been in. I didn’t hear a single aircraft for the entire time we were there.
The only negative thing I have to say about it is that it can be a bit difficult to get to if you aren’t flying in and out of Terminal 4. Cab fare from the hotel to Terminal 5 cost nearly £20 when we couldn’t catch a free bus on time for our flight.

We booked this hotel as I had previously stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in the same building. We actually got a cheaper deal otherwise we would have stayed at the Express, but I am so glad we stayed here. Whilst the Holiday Inn Express is wonderful, the Crowne Plaza is just slightly higher end. The check in lady ( I think she was called Anna ) was super polite and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was on the third floor and was for three people, so one bed was a guest / day bed, but my petite 18 year old said it was a really good nights sleep. The bedding was of high quality as were the pillows. Room size was good and the bathroom whilst compact was more than adequate. The hotel itself is very smart and clean and the bars have a nice ambience to them. The only bad thing was the cost of drinks. A pint of cider, Gin & Lemonade and a large white wine was £24 and then there was a £2.50 service charge just for passing the drink over the bar. But that was my only grumble. Access to T4 is a breeze and is a 5 minute walk if that's where you are heading. We were dropping my daughter at terminal 3 but the train stops at terminal four so it doesn't take too long to buzz around from terminal to terminal. I am booked at the express next week to fetch my daughter from her travels but I am seriously considering seeing if I can get another great rate from the Crowne Plaza instead. Great stuff :-) Thank you Crowne Plaza for a lovely stay.

Had an excellent stay here. Was on business and used this hotel as my base for 24 hours.
Check in was very good and a nice polite member of staff was efficient in getting me into my room at 9am (I arrived long haul into T5 at 5:30am and transferred to T4 on the Heathrow Express). Dropped my bags in the room and I was gone into London City for meetings.
Hotel was very quiet with no noises or disruptions so I had a good rest that evening.
Breakfast at 6am was (if I am honest) the best I have had in years at a hotel. Chef was on hand to say hello and have a quick chat. A great start to the day and I left the hotel with a great impression.
Recommended? For sure !

I stayed here for one night prior to an early morning flight from Terminal 4. I loved this hotel so much and the price was excellent. I was upgraded to a larger room as a IHG member. The bed was fantastic, and the touch of leaving a pillow spray was terrific, I love the smell of lavender. The room had a very large TV with good choices, I had one room service meal with the best onion ring (with burger) I have tasted ANYWHERE. The hotel is right off the M4 and has a covered walkway to the terminal, so don't make the mistake like me of getting up at the crack of dawn, you are in the terminal proper in 5 minutes. The shower was great, really good products in the bathroom. A full supply of coffee making and tea facilities. I only wish I could have stayed here longer. All the employees I dealt with were great. The only negative about this hotel is that it is not in central London!! Thanks for a great stay.

We chose this hotel as we were flying out the next day on a long haul flight and wanted to ensure a good night’s sleep and we were therefore willing to pay a little more than usual for an airport hotel and this hotel had direct covered access to the terminal. The hotel definitely was worth it for us. It wasn’t the easiest to find the main entrance from the road so might be worth checking a map beforehand and the hotel could do with better signage. We ate in the Destinations bar in the evening, food was good and the breakfast was excellent. Comfortable bed. We would definitely stay here again if using T4.

Nearly booked the wrong hotel. There are 2 Crowne Plaza at Heathrow and I initially booked the wrong one. It was a non refundable rate but customer service managed to cancel my booking and rebook. Love the fact that I can walk to T4 via a covered walkway. I needed to go to the pharmacy at night and it was so convenient. My only gripe with the hotel was the water pressure on both shower and tap. It would turn slightly colder at intervals which was annoying. Lounge was good though breakfast was limited.
Service wise, I was disappointed when I had left some perishables in the room's minibar and checked out early in the morning. Did not leave T4 till past lunch but housekeeping and hotel did not contact me. The next day, I called the hotel at 4am and they said they would email me when housekeeping arrives at 8am. I told them I had someone who could pop by to collect but had a plane to catch at 10am. By 10am, no email. When I emailed to enquire later, they told me all perishables were thrown away...

Excellent choice if you are departing from LHR Terminal Four. Great night's sleep, decent restaurant with a very limited menu and overall a nice property. Room was functional and perfect for a single traveler.
Design of the shower seemed a little odd though. Length-wise the shower was long, but where the shower head was, it meant you had to shower with your back against the glass. I've posted a picture so you can see where the shower head is, compared to where I believe it should be. Separately UK showers seem to be way more complicated than they need to be, but that's another conversation entirely.
Took a while actually getting to the hotel from Terminal 5 by the free train. But upon arrival at 4, you can get right to the hotel via a covered walkway, but you have to know where to find that covered walkway! Don't make the mistake I did by leaving the terminal, seeing the hotel a short distance away, and trying to get there by foot, down the roadway which starts out with a sidewalk that eventually disappears.
Leaving the hotel and Terminal Four early on a Sunday morning was also a pain. The free rail transfer didn't start until about 720a, perhaps because of the rail strike, I'm not really sure. Ended up taking a shuttle bus which was about a 10-minute ride, but it dropped you off close to, but not right at Terminal 3. Directions to the terminal were very poorly marked, and those of us on the shuttle bus had difficulty figuring it out in the dark, around 6am. I also mention it in case members of your party have difficulty walking or you have a ton of bags.
And finally, a helpful hint that might get you a cheaper rate. The hotel is also a Holiday Inn Express. Same building, different check-in areas. When you get to your floor, one side is Holiday Inn, other side is Crowne Plaza. Four digit room number means you're Crowne Plaza, three digit room number is Holiday Inn. I did a brief online search and found that the Holiday Inn Express, in the very same building, was about 25 pounds a night cheaper! Not sure how different the room could possibly be, but I mention this as you shop around.
Would I stay again at this hotel at LHR? Definitely, if I had an early morning flight from Terminal Four. Just be aware that you should allow plenty of time to get to/from Terminals 2/3/4.

Turning from the covered walkway into the CP is like opening my own front door. Anna welcomed us warmly and with genuine friendliness. The rooms are immaculate as is the entire hotel. Breakfast was fantastic and our gluten free diet was easily and well catered for there. Everyone was only too happy to help make our stay special and they certainly succeeded! Thank you team we will certainly stay again for any more LHR flights. Ask about fly deals. When walking to T4 the hotel provide free baggage trolleys under the escalators 😉

I've stayed here a few times now. Regardless of which terminal I'm flying out of, this is my first choice at Heathrow.
The inter terminal links at Heathrow (Free to use) make that part easy and this hotel has a covered walkway to T4 which takes less than 10 minutes.
I really like the Holiday Inn Express/Crowne Plaza split. The two in one concept is really good.
The Crowne Plaza adds slightly better furnished rooms, access to the Club lounge (which we had via the milestone reward lounge pass) and a different breakfast offering. The breakfast is a normal buffet style but is of good quality and plenty of variety.
The club lounge is a good space to have drinks and canapés in the evening. Staff here are always friendly and very willing to top up the glasses. Can't say no really!
We had a lovely upgrade to a suite as a Diamond member which was gratefully received. We did unfortunately have a room cleanliness issue on this stay but it was dealt with quickly.
Parking is offered underground which I've used once. Pricing is typical of its location but there's loads of space. Oddly, parking packages directly with IHG don't always seem available.
I'd recommend here for its location and walkable connection to T4 (exactly the same as the Holiday Inn Express T4). If you want a little bit more space and little extras, thr Crowne Plaza is worth it over its Express cousin. Particularly if you have elite status with IHG.
I'll be back again for my next LHR flight.
