The location of this hotel is literally in the middle of a bunch of major highways, so there are no views, but convenient access to wherever you need to go, particularly Newark Airport. It is a comfortable hotel, clean with modern amenities and a nice lobby. Our room included breakfast, which you needed to order from the cafe in the lobby, which needed a bit of time since there was only one person working the cafe, and she had to take care of a lot of orders. We did a park and stay, which was very convenient, and used the shuttle, which you do have to budget and extra 1/2 hour for, since it drops you at the P stop and you have to take the air train to your terminal.

We stayed in the king size room with our two toddlers. Our room was on the main floor, we loved that it was easy to get to where we parked our car, especially with two little kids. Staff was accommodating, upon arrival someone set up the Pack n play crib for our youngest. It would have been perfect if the pool was open. Otherwise nice stay at this hotel.

I can't remember, don't know if that is good or bad... Some of the hallways are dingy, drab and beat up. The bed was very comfortable.
We stayed here because we had a really early flight out the next day from EWR Newark International Airport. We caught the first shuttle out in the morning, and barely had enough time to grab a cup of coffee and a muffin, but the driver waited the 3 minutes, which was very nice. We paid more for the room but they allowed parking for free in their lot for a few days as we flew off to the West Coast.
It was a bit complicated finding the place for the first time, as they are surrounded by highways and roads and our GPS missed our exit so we had to make a big loop around to get back to the hotel.
The staff was nice enough.
We would do it again.

These are difficult times, especially when it comes to the hospitality industry and I can say with great enthusiasm, my experience at the Marriott Newark Airport this morning exceeded my expectations. Seamus and Clarisse were welcoming,
and professional, making me feel as if I was coming home to familiar and friendly faces. The hotel was encouraging social distancing with the staff and customers but even in these unusual times I felt well provided for by Clarisse and Seamus. Questions answered, coffee available in the lobby (as there are not coffee makers in the room) suggestions regarding temporary availability of food and amenities. The hotel was spotless and well appointed and the blazing fire in the fireplace lobby such a great tone setter, The hotel is convenient to the airport, if you are adventurous its walk-able from terminal c, but the van is always available as well. Start your trip off right by staying the night before your departure. You will not be disappointed.

Our Garmin took us here from North of Albany without any issues. We arrived at rush hour so that was a bit of pain. Our room was nice, on the third floor, so not heavy footsteps above us. We had both dinner and breakfast at the bar; both were very good (if a tad expensive, but way cheaper than going out). There is a shuttle service to EWR every half hour (we didn’t use it this time as we kept the rental to turn in at EWR. The gas station there is cheaper than the charge by the rental company, but about $1 more expensive than other sites. In all, we’ve stayed here multiple times over the past 3 years and will do so in the future.

The location is a bit tricky to get to but the hotel is located near the airport and provides a free shuttle that runs every half hour. Breakfast is not included but there is a good restaurant on the premises for meals and quick snacks. The spacious room was a bit chilly but the reception employees were very helpful and friendly with any requests that I had. Also the shuttle driver was very friendly and nice.

Used United mileage rewards to book one night and parking for a week but got charged $25 day because price that was on United site supposedly only included one day of parking. Stayed here for park and fly a number of times before but the prices have skyrocketed and due to occupancy. Almost $500 for park and fly?!?!and then to find out they are not serving dinners! Have to order take out. This too was one of the reasons we stayed here. Very disappointed and feel like we were taken advantaged of.

Horrible hotel shuffle driver!
On approach he shook his head side way (left and right), which I read it as “No”. I was in New York State, not India. No other passenger approached this shuffle and it took off few mins later.
30 mins later , the same shuffle and driver showed up again as per time schedule. I am determined not to be passed off this time. I walked to his drive door. He was unwilling to speak until I insisted him to lower the window glass with hand gesture. He confined he was servicing to Courtyard Newark Liberty. I then asked why he shook his head to me and took off 30 mins ago. His replied “You didn’t tell me where you were going”.
I am a Chinese male and the driver is a male with African ethnicity. I could only feel that I was racially discriminated purely based on my appearance!

Excellent Experiences Every Time!!
I am a frequent traveler who uses Newark Airport and I always stay at the Courtyard Newark Liberty International Airport Hotel. It has recently been renovated and provides a comfortable experience before and after the fatigue of flying. Their complimentary shuttle is on a schedule twice each hour for both pickup and drop off at the Newark Airport. They do offer limited food selections at the hotel, but delivery service from area restaurants is available as well. I have tried other hotels prior to finding this wonderful Courtyard by Marriott. Some had similar rooms and facilities, but it is the Courtyard staff that keeps me returning again and again. They welcome each guest and every guest request with a smile. All staff members truly want to ensure guest experiences are beyond normal expectations. I would personally like to thank Alfonso at the front desk who makes me feel like a part of their family on each stay. In closing, I highly recommend the Courtyard by Marriott Newark Liberty International Airport Hotel on 600 Routes 1 and 9. They also provide park, stay, and fly packages if you call.

Typical Courtyard with standard amenities, smaller than usual room. Resturant was a poor experience for both of us. In addition I asked for a glass of water with my $35 meal and was told I have to buy a bottle of water. When I questioned it I was also told by Restaurant and front desk staff that MANAGEMENT does not allow them to give free water even though bartender who took our order has a water/soda gun. I'm Lifetime Titanium and have never heard of this before

It is not close enough to the airport to walk, you would need a taxi or shuttle. It's a 10-15 minute shuttle/taxi ride
In my experience , yes and yes. Make reservation at front desk for shuttle to airport. If arrive late, I recommend calling for pick up.
It’s a park and stay package, so it was something like 17 dollars a day with the hotel room for us.
