We stayed for four nights during the week and had a very good time. It is an older property but the room we were in was clean and comfortable and the bed was extremely comfortable with a pillow top mattress. The machines were a little "tight" but still had a good time in the casino. There were more people there toward the end of our stay and the cigarette smoke got proportionately worse as the number of gamblers increased. They do have a small non-smoking section which helps when the crowd increases. Will be back the next time we are through the area.

Check-in Kiosk is quick and easy; the kiosk actually gives you printed directions to you room. $10 dinner coupon for not using housekeeping, is a fair trade off. Check out your coffee pot in the room before you use it. Ours was fuzzy. Told the front desk and a new one was up in less than an hour. Hair drier also works to de-humidify the bathroom. Rooms are nice. View of the parking lot wasn't spectacular, but who cares when it is 40 degrees outside. Machines were a little tight. Some people at the table games need to play me to gamble if they want me to take cards for them or learn how to play without the internet. Buffet is very good and almost the only one left in Laughlin. Beach Cafe is a little pricey but the food in worth it. Note: Breakfast burrito can feed two hungry people! Cocktail waitresses are the best in Laughlin; keep up the good work ladies. The table area can get loud when people are winning and the slot machine can be adjusted down if they are to loud (some people must like the attention of coin noise). Marcus the gambling floor manager walks the floor and talks to guests. Great job Marcus, managers like you are the reason we come back to Harrah's over and over again. Check-out was easy at the kiosk and electronic invoice was recieved before I left the kiosk. Note to others: Use your comps to eat instead of on free slots; you'll end up with a full belly! We'll see you again soon. Thanks for another wonderful vacation.

Thanks to caesars rewards, we enjoyed a great week here. The place is older, but clean and nice. They have a ton of fun slot machines, some new and some old favorites. We loved the people in the poker room and had great luck there. There were plenty of waitresses on the casino floor at all times and they and other workers kept things tidied up around us. The nonsmoking areas of the casino are big and roomy. I’ve never been in a casino with windows and I loved that part!

We enjoyed the buffet for a great breakfast and the Beach Cafe for two other great breakfasts. Great food and so friendly at both places. We had Smashburger for dinner one night and didn’t care for it too much. Husband had Pinup Pizza for a snack one night and said it’s pretty good.

Our room (south tower) was clean and the room service was great. Bathroom was beautiful, with a nice shower. We had a big tv with lots of channels. The bed and pillows were awesome.

The beach area was still closed for the winter, it opened the day after we left, but it was nice outside and beautiful to just walk around. There are some nice seating areas to enjoy the view.

Plenty of free parking for the days we rented a car. Harrahs is not situated where you’d want to walk anywhere else. A taxi ride was exactly $10 plus tip from one end of the strip to the other.

Caesars rewards people were awesome, from the plane ride to the bus ride, to handling our luggage, and the entire hotel experience, we were really happy with our trip and hope to do it again someday.

We come to Laughlin every year to enjoy the beach like atmosphere and the frigid Colorado river on a hot day. We have stayed at this establishment multiple times and never encountered so many issues. We checked in on one of the kiosk's in the lobby, once we received our room key we went up only to realize it was the wrong room (Single king instead of a double premium). We went down to the lobby and we were given the room we paid for. We tried to get into this room and the key would not work, made another trip down to the front desk and again were given a different room. The beach area was super crowded and the palupas that were once free to use now came with a charge, we were not allowed to bring personal umbrellas either. Day 2 we decided to get a cabana, the staff in the rental office was extremely accomodating and so was the security in the area. The food was reasonably priced and there was little to no wait. Got back to our room only to find out that housekeeping did not clean due to COVID protocols. We also noticed a bad stain on the comforter that we did not notice the night before. We called down to get more fresh towels and a new comforter, we were told that we could not get a new comforter but we can get 2 blankets if we wanted. I waited 45mins and they still did not arrive. I had to make a trip down to the front desk to inquire the status. Soon there after the runner arrived, she also was extremely polite and pleasant. Last and final issue was the toilet paper dilemma, late in the evening we ran out and there was no additional roll in the room, again called own for assistance. 45mins later still no Toilet paper, again made a trip to the front desk to inquire. By the time I got back to the room the toilet paper arrived.

I will say that the staff was extremely polite and professional and they are what saved this from a 1 star review. As I said harrahs has always been our go to when we go to Laughlin . I am just hoping that this was just a fluke weekend.

Thank you for sharing your comments regarding your recent visit to Harrah’s Laughlin. We are delighted to learn about the friendly service you received from our staff, however we are very sorry to learn that you didn’t enjoy your stay. Please accept our sincere apologies for the room, key issues and long wait for housekeeping you experienced. We actually guarantee room types so I’m not sure why we were unable to meet your lodging needs upon arrival. We have experienced strong customer demand for virtually all the services that we render with hotel accommodations being no exception and therefore our beach can become crowded. Like many resorts we charge for amenities such as palapas and lounge chairs on the beach and cabanas at our pools. We are very sorry to learn about your disappointment with our beach rules. Please understand that due to safety reasons we are unable to allow guests to bring umbrellas or alcohol to our beach or pools. We have had to make changes to our services for the safely and wellbeing of our guests and employees. We hope you will give us another opportunity to create a better experience.

There were some positives to the hotel like having a couple restaurants, we ate at smash burger, not as good as others we have been to, and the pizza place, it opened later than the other food places and we stood there for 5 minutes before finally them telling us they weren’t open
The room was dirty, the looks like someone spit something brown on it or a soda was exploded. The floors are stained. The remote control doesn’t work, it will only go up in channels not down. The clock was unplugged, I don’t feel like you should go into a room and have to set the clock.
The wall are paper thin so we got to here our neighbors going at it and we have 2 young kids, it was awful! I was scrambling to find a sound app on my phone to drowned out the noise.
We received an email saying if we opted in to no house keeping during our stay we would get a $10 food credit. We never received it........
If the wrestling tournament is her next year we will definitely stay somewhere else.....

Thank you for sharing your comments regarding your recent visit to Harrah’s Laughlin. We are very sorry to learn that you didn’t enjoy your stay. Please be assured that your comfort is very important and if you should ever experience an issue with your room during a future visit, please don’t hesitate to ask for the Guest Service Manager at the Front Desk and they would be pleased to be of assistance in resolving any issue with your room. We actually have several restaurants available such as our 24 hour Beach Café, Fresh Market Square Buffet, Range Steakhouse, Smashburger, Pin Up Pizza and El Burro Borracho which we received outstanding comments, however if you should ever have a disappointing experience, please don’t hesitate to ask for the manager who would be pleased to resolve any issue with your meal. Please also understand that we feel that our hours of operation are adequate for our current business levels, and we may close restaurants earlier depending on the demand. We are very sorry to learn that you were disturbed by other guests. Our Security Team is available 24 hours daily and they would be pleased to respond to any problematic issues including unsupervised young people and unreasonable noise. You can always be confident that our security personnel will respond to your call promptly and discreetly. After reviewing your charges we found that the Resort Fee was credited for the opt-out housekeeping services. We hope you will reconsider your decision and give us another opportunity to create a better experience.

This hotel is one of about 9 Casino Resort Hotels located on the Colorado River in Laughlin, Nevada. Unlike the the other 8 properties, this one is isolated, and not within walking distance of all the rest. As the title of my review suggests, this is an older property that could use some remodeling. Our room was in Tower 3, with a "partial river view." It appeared that the carpet had been replaced not long ago, but the rest of the room was frozen in time from 25 years ago. No coffee maker, no refrigerator, no safe. Regarding electrical outlets, there was just a couple of regular wall outlets that you had to crawl under furniture to reach. They didn't have the modern outlets you'd find in most newer hotels. Also, there was just a single switch in the bathroom that activated both the vent fan and the lights. The fan sounded like the engine on a prop jet. So, you couldn't use the bathroom for drying your hair or putting on makeup without enduring this deafening noise. On the positive side, the rates are reasonable.

Thank you for sharing your comments regarding your recent visit to Harrah’s Laughlin. We are delighted to learn that you enjoyed the room rate, however we are very sorry to learn that you didn’t fully enjoy your stay. Our property is not connected to the river walk, however many of our loyal guests find it refreshing to be secluded from the other properties along the river. I’m pleased to mention that we are updating our rooms with fresh paint, new carpeting and mattresses where needed, some new furnishings and other projects which we will continue through 2020. We are excited about our remodeled South Tower rooms. I trust you would enjoy one of these fabulous remodeled rooms which offer a refrigerator, coffee maker and safe. We actually have a regular maintenance program and special projects in an ongoing effort to keep our property up-to-date. We celebrated our grand opening of our Marketplace, Gift Shop and reopening of Starbucks. We hope you will give us another opportunity to create a better experience.

First, you walk in and are bombarded with smoke, and an outdated casino. The First room we got was a non smoking room, but someone had smoked in it recently and was nasty. Moved to 2nd room a little better, but carpet is still dirty and couches had stains. We got a cheap trip from caesars thankfully so what do you expect i guess. And I did win a big payday on Mississippi Stud, so it wasnt the worst experience. If we get another deal from them, We will be using the freebie for the flight only and staying in Vegas. Only 1.5 hrs away. This place needs to spend some money on air filtration, updating the facility and really cleaning the rooms/changing furniture. I know they probably wont, as they are having to give away cheap trips to get people there.

I’m very sorry to learn that someone smoked in your non-smoking room, however I’m pleased to learn that we were able to quickly move you to another room, however I’m sorry to learn about the cleanliness issue you encountered with our remodeled South Tower room. We would have been pleased to resolve this issue during your visit, if we had known. I have shared your comments with our Housekeeping Management Team so that the room can be deep cleaned. We actually have a state-of-the-art filtration system and when there are several guests smoking in our main casino it can become smoky, however we are pleased to offer our separate non-smoking casino and non-smoking restaurants. We have a regular maintenance and special projects program in place in an ongoing effort to keep our property up-to-date. We have some exciting projects that we are currently working on and many planned in the near future; including new casino carpeting, updating seating in our Beach Café, renovating North Tower elevators and improvement to the main entrance to our casino. We are delighted to offer discounted and complimentary flights to our Caesars Rewards members solely base upon their tracked play. Lets see 1st night came back to room to take a hot bath, No Hot water, Called maintenance after 30 minutes showed up to fix problem after being in our room for an hour, He said its fixed, Nope still NO hot water, Moved us to a mini suite, 2nd night we were woke up by a fire siren going off at 1:30 am, 3rd night we were out exploring all day came back to take a shower, No towels asked for towels and coffee, So 20 minutes later maid just comes in our room and delivers coffee and takes $2.00 tip off counter, Yes the tip was for her, But usually you would hand this to the maid, Not just take it off our counter and enter our room when occupied, But she still didn't give us towels, So we called and did the ivy app for towels, 4 times still NO towels, Kept being told they will be right up, NO! they never showed up, Morning comes and still NO towels I asked many times again and still NOTHING! So No towels for us to take shows. Another complaint, NOT one person was wiping down the machines in the casino, I've been to many casinos where they constantly clean the machines, NOT one time did they ever wipe a machine down. Also pool and jacuzzi 40 degrees, They don't tell you that when booking, Ever though other hotels have their pools open and decent temp. Manager was supposed to call me back and never did!!!!!!! I would give this a minus any stars

I’ve been in a few different Harrah’s. This one in Laughlin NV is outdated and dingy. They charge an arm and a leg just for a shady spot on the 100ft stretch of “private” beach they have. Social distancing did NOT exist at the beach or in the water and was not monitored at all. They were too busy policing the size of personal coolers and their contents.
The rooms were out dated and just meh. The beds were unreasonably high but dipped down on the edges. No refrigerators no, no microwaves or even coffee makers!
Everyone who worked there was nice, especially the woman who checked us in.
Sanitizing was non existent. I didn’t see someone wipe down a machine once. The hand sanitizer self serve towers were sometimes empty and a manual pump (not touch less).
Food was limited to smash burger,
pizza and Cinnabon. Food was meh.

We also visited the Aquarius and Golden Nugget. Much nicer places than the Harrahs.

I traveled with my afo and wheelchair in search of some peace and heat from Cold Chicago. Caesars offered me a charter flight for a great rate to Harrah's in in Nevada and me and over 100 other Chicagoans took the deal. The first night someone tried to break into my hotel room in the South tower, banging and even trying to insert a key for was at least a minute while I was sleeping from the long flight. Hotel Security knocking on same door at 5 am without any notice because I had filed a security report that night and requested an escort to my room with my early morning dinner.

Unable to sleep, played some casino games and attempted to take breakfast back to my room. My keys didn't work even though I had them replaced hours earlier because the other keys only worked half the time.

Not only could I not get into my room, neither was Management. I had to wait at least an hour for the door key system to be replaced by maintenance. Through the Guest Service Manager, Steve, I asked for a new room. He gave me one, but not accessible. I knew they were booked so I took it. He requested a shower chair for me from housekeeping. It never arrived.

I requested one from the morning Manager and it arrived. The hotel did offer these scooters to around for a great price. The food was barely average, service was terrible and the last night the Manager of the steakhouse called security on me when I complained about a very expensive meal "to go." I just went to sleep and hopped out with the rest my crew, back home, to the city we all love to hate, CHICAGO.

South and Central towers are the closest to casino. North tower is more of thrir "family friendly" tower, loaded eith kids who mess with elevators, pushing every button for "fun"...AVOID AT ALL COST. NOTHING is more annoying than stopping every darn floor...well maybe except losing money at casino.
