If you are looking for an off strip spot to stay that is a short drive to all of the action, this is your spot. The unit was well appointed, but could use a few updates(Especially the Couch). Beds were comfortable, and the view of the strip from our balcony was solid!

Very happy with the accommodations. Any need to update the older rooms was outweighed by the value, cleanliness and functionality of the rooms. Staff quickly responded to any issues (we had an issue with air conditioner, but they responded within 10 minutes and had it fixed in another 10). Breakfast at the on site restaurant was very good. Only significant complaint is that several pools were closed each day we were there and only 1 of the 4 water slides was open (and that for only half the days of our stay). Overall, if you're looking for an off the strip location to stay with your family that won't kill your vacation budget, this is a good option.

This resort really needs an update. Furniture is very dated. They have attempted to make the suites accessible but not the master suite, just an attempt at the guest bathroom (toilet should be replaced with a higher one) and the kitchen. Cupboards are still high and awkward.
The floor of our gigantic tub in the master was filthy and the eco- friendly stuff she brought up to clean it did nothing. When I asked if the jets in the hot tub on the balcony we’re cleaned between guests, she said no, so we did not use it. They do not provide toiletries anymore, so I had to go buy some.
Half of the pool was closed the whole week.
The staff at the pool were inattentive. I waited for a towel, walking all around the building, for about 10 minutes. A lifeguard coming on duty finally gave me a towel. The girl who should have been there showed up as I was leaving.
The front desk staff was excellent, providing everything we went down to get.

We do fully clean the hot tubs on the balconies including the jets in between guest stays. We even do a flush on the jets each time to ensure it is safe for the next guest to use. We also do provide toiletries that are stocked in your unit and if you need any extra we will provide it free of charge. We do apologize for the inconvenience and that this information was not properly shared during your stay. We will review this with the team so we can do our best to ensure we are properly assisting our guests. We hope you return so that we can improve upon this experience.

It was fun given the restrictions and masks. Everyone is trying to be safe and stay away from other guests. You do have occasional guess who doesn't care. Pool was open from 10 am to 6 Pm at 50 % capacity, so it forces you to be at the hotel most of the day if you have kids that want to be in the pool. Food is good and prices are fair. We paid 30 dollars for 4 chicken tenders, fries and a Caesar salad. Happy hour is from 3-4.. so buy one drink get one free. The restaurant here closes at 630 (pandemic hours). Which forces you to go out and buy food or have it delivered if you get hungry later. My kids always got hungry at night. The rooms only allowed you to bring that number of in people in the pool. We have a 2 bedroom and are a family of 5. We travelled with 8, 6 and a 1 year old. we could not exceed 6 people. A 1 bedroom allows you 4 people. They have a list at the front of the pool. Everything is our room was very clean. We wipe things down with Clorox wipes (if we didn't have a baby that puts everything in her mouth) we would not take so Many precautions. My daughters feet where not dirty from being bear foot in the carpet all day. So Good Job Cancun Resort! You have to wear a mask for everything, except for when you are in the pool. We get it, Safety first, and it's not the hotel rooms rules it's the state. All in all it was fun and the kids had fun.

This place was not ready to host people during a pandemic, nor any other time. The room we were originally assigned REAKED of smoke or mold or something terrible. The pool was PACKED with people and no-one was distancing at all. Nor was the staff enforcing any distancing. The staff was wearing masks but half the time they were pulled half way down their faces. When we checked in people were screaming at the front desk because of failures of housekeeping. We then experienced the same thing ourselves when we could not get anyone to bring us blankets or a decent size frying pan. The kitchen is NOT suitable for cooking even a basic dinner. There is one small saucepan and one small frying pan (like the size for cooking 1 fried egg). The guests at this hotel were up screaming at all hours of the night. Next door the people were yelling, throwing things, swearing, etc. Even after security was called repeatedly, it simply moved into the hallway. Even after a night of terrible sleep due to the disruptions, we were not able to get a check out time past 10am! We also were not allowed to stay at the pool past our check out time. It was a total waste of time and money. We did not enjoy our stay....

Checked in and as usual Diamond starts pitching. We had a 2 room deluxe and after we arrived at the room we noticed that there were about 3 pretty big wet spots on the floor. We have 3 small children and it smelled pretty gross like bleach. Maybe there was something gross that happened and they had just cleaned it. Nonetheless they said they had “limited” 2 bedrooms available so they were going to send up maintenance. After 20 minutes I called down and told them to just leave towels at our door and we would try to clean it ourselves. They seemed happy and offered nothing at all for this disgusting experience. It’s exactly what you can expect from Diamond. We are checking out tomorrow. I can think of about 10 better solutions than what they offered. They don’t care. Diamond Resorts is awful and we hate staying at their resorts. Scam

It's impossible to sleep in, at least from our room as blaring 70s music starts at 8 am every day. I assume it's for the pool? Its 30-50 degrees outside. Even brave kids arent swimming at 8 am and certainly don't care about 70s music.
Carpet is crunchy in spots and needs a deep clean or replacement. Furniture worn. Had I only paid $53 a night through a booking site, I probably wouldn't care except for the very annoying music. But through Diamond and with maintenance fees, our family pays closer to $200 per night. NOT worth that!

We just returned from a wonderful stay at Cancun Resort. They rolled out the red carpet and we checked in VIP since we traded our week with Interval International. I loved there were NO extra fees and free garage parking/WiFi and free washer/dryer to use in the building with laundry soap in the room ( so nice). The room was clean and smelled good. The kitchen was perfect with everything we needed to cook all our meals. The deck was spacious and private. The pool area was outstanding. We spent every minute at the pool and had a blast. Our little girl was in heaven with the 4 slides, cascading waterfall, hot tubs everywhere and so much space to swim and relax. When we got hungry we just jumped out of the pool and ate right there at the restaurant in our swim suits. The chicken fingers and fries were delish and we loved the smoothies in the super fun 2 foot long cup. We had so much fun there was no reason to leave the resort. They have an activities center with several activities for kids and we had fun playing bingo, scavenger hunt, painting, making slime and candles. Ping pong was fun. Also, something we've never seen at a resort, they have a GARDEN with so many amazing veggies for guests to pick and use for dinner (which we did). The lifeguards and security were super nice and kept things in order. Housekeeping always brought us anything we needed. We had a plugged kitchen sink that maintenance came out immediate and fixed. Overall we were super happy with our stay and look forward to coming back hopefully sooner than later. Thank you Cancun Resort for a wonderful time!!

Stayed here for work for 2 nights. I am a gold HHonors member and work booked this place for me. There is no digital key and upon check in I had to swipe my credit card for $300 security deposit and a 2nd time for the actual charge for the rooms. Then a lady said she had a "welcome package" for me which was for her to sell a timeshare offering after looking up my info with my room #. I said "that is okay and I am not interested" in $199 3 night stay somewhere. The lady then said "I know its OKAY!" Wow you want to sell me something while screaming at me at 9 pm after a long work day. Already a bad sign.

Then I go to my room and it is dated. There are 2 bathrooms. One bathroom had the toilet seat up with yellow urine in it. YUCK! Then there was popcorn on the couch and chair. Then another dirty paper towel in the kitchen sick. The kicker was the sheets had dots of red dried blood. So I had to ask for new sheets. SOOOO gross. The bed was old and sank upon sitting on it. The couch was dark brown velvet and I did not touch that seeing the left over popcorn all over. Velvet is not easy to clean and again not sure of the room being cleaned after what I walked into. The balcony was nice but scared someone would come in that way since I was on a low floor.

The room was large. There was a small kitchen with a microwave, full size stove, sink and full size frig with freezer. Great for families. Had to use bleach wipes to wipe down door handles and surfaces. Just old and dingy. There was a dining table with 4 chairs. The heat was strong in the hall way and smelled like old wood.

There are several buildings so its confusing at night which building to drive to after checking in.

Never stay here again and would visit other Hilton brands.

Not listed on their webpage or nor on their news and alerts tab for diamond properties. Only notice was via email, after booking at the bottom of the email.

Resort Specific Information

The back pool and water slides will be closed from October 1-31, 2020 for maintenance. The main pool will remain open from 10am to 6pm during this time-frame. Required Pool Notice -Please be aware that daily pool access wristbands will only be issued to registered guests. 1 Bedroom units will be provided with 4 pool wristbands. 2 bedroom units will be provided with 6 pool wristbands. Penthouse units will also be provided with 6 pool wristbands.
