We were playing in a soccer tournament that had stay & play requirements & this is where our team ended up. I have stayed at many Marriotts over the years & still maintain silver status and this one was disappointing. The property is tired & dated. Many posts say recent $5M renovation? Not sure where the money went.
Our room was dark & smelled musky. Every moment we could have the sliding door open to air it out, we did so. Every room is a queen bed & fold out couch with no other options (other than a 2-bedroom significant upgrade). The pull out couch was terrible but with only 1 bed & 2 adults, my son was forced to sleep there. The queen bed was fine.
If you need a kitchen, this would be an okay option. For the location, you absolutely need an in-room safe, but they aren’t provided. You could see daylight through the door & door casing & it seemed like maybe the door had even been kicked in before as it didn’t secure well (3 other parents told me exact same thing about their room/door/lock). The kids enjoyed the pool & unfortunately the hot tub was closed during our stay (pool was not heated). The breakfast is decent with a good variety of options offered. The staff was courteous in my limited interactions.
Because there was a tournament & convention in town, we could have stayed at nicer properties on the strip for cheaper & I wish we would have. I wouldn’t stay here again.

When I first arrived, I was taken back by the small lobby area. It was 115 degrees and when I found out there were no inner hallways I was disappointed. My room was a really good size and it was actually a really nice property. We had several family members staying at this location and we all really enjoyed the property. On one afternoon, we were able to use the BBQ area to all gather and cook dinner.

They offer breakfast each morning. It is a wide selection with healthy options. The only drawback is there are no restaurants on this property. You have to leave the property for lunch or dinner. They do offer a full kitchen with everything you need to cook in your room.

The staff at the property was great. Everyone I encountered was nice and friendly.

Our employer booked the rooms for 30+ coworkers. All have a studio apartment setup with a full kitchen, queen bed and a sofa bed. No real issues but the initial construction skimped a bit. I have a lower room and my upstair neighbor sounds like an elephant walking above me. Oh well. Another issue is the marijuana smokers outside in the evening (only a few). Since it's legal for recreation and the hotel is non smoking........
Directly across the street from the convention center. Not sure if I would select this hotel on my own.

Hello RxDive, I would like to thank you for your recent stay with us and the feedback you provided. I am sorry to hear about the noise you have experienced during your stay in addition to the recreational marijuana usage. As you mentioned, it is legal to purchase and consume marijuana but it can only be consumed in private residences. It is not legal for our guest to be smoking it on the hotel grounds. While we do our best to police this, it can still happen. Thank you again for staying with us and providing this very valuable feedback. I hope we can have another opportunity to host you in the future. Sincerely, Casey Grieme General Manager

The hotel is outdated, and I felt very unsafe walking across the entire property and through walkways and pathways to get to my room (1513). Even in broad daylight. I heard many other women who stayed at this location mention the same thing. I would never have stayed here if I'd known this would be required. I was also put into a first floor room with a large sliding glass door facing a parking garage for another business. I couldn't sleep well because of this.

We absolutely love this hotel! The rooms are spotless, specially the suites with two bedrooms. Before we go to the room we make some tea or coffee (free). Every morning we have a buffet style breakfast that is included and is always fresh and full, thanks to Carlos Garcia, who manages the kitchen. He is always happy to bring more food if is running out, or accomodate the guests in any way possible. Very courteous and has a smile on his face. He makes your day for sure. We love him and the whole staff. There is a good vibe in this place and we enjoyed our stays here. No more strip hotels for us.
Also there is a shuttle that drops you off at the mandalay bay at any time. So we can save on taxi cabs. All around five stars for this place.

Definitely had the best time I’ve had in a hotel staying here. Staff was A+, the rooms were spacious and temperature was perfect. Breakfast was spot on and had a variety of things to choose from. Located near the monorail that takes you to the strip was the icing on the cake for me. This is definitely the only place I’m staying in Vegas.

Hotel lacks basic hotel provisions (toothbrush, kettle, glasses, kettle). Requested from housekeeping and kettle is not available. Housekeeping won’t even deliver toothbrush and wine/bottle opener not provided. Have to go to reception to collect! There is also no concierge service. Planning to book a car and personnel at reception just give a standard travel booklet with no info on car rental and asked customer to google! Never come across such pool service before!! Will not be coming back nor recommending friends to stay at Marriott. Really expect Marriott to be up there with hotels providing good services. Rather disappointed that basic services are lacking!!

The hotel was very rundown still has popcorn ceiling. The front door doesn’t shut tight and has a big crack in it allowing roaches in the room it has a smell that is very undesirable. We checked out the next day and went to the Marriott château the week after we got back, we noticed that they did not give us a credit for the eight days and charges $4000 and refuse to resolve the situation. A manager won’t even come to the phone, knowing that they checked us out the very next day and that we stayed at another Marriott property 3 miles away they act like criminals, refusing to put Lindsay the manager on the phone a worker name, Nina

Lisa, Evelyn, Eve and Adolfo went out of their way on numerous occasions to provide exceptional customer service. Thanks for hiring such a great staff!

The pool, right next to the lobby and dining area, has a hot tub judging from picture I took and posted with my review. Please note there may be a long walk from your unit and weather in Fall.evening may be much cooler. But then you are from Minnesota so it may not be an issue.
