We’ve planned a quick weekend getaway to Las Vegas in July. I had appointments to visit some customers and brought my family together along the trip. We stayed at the Las Vegas Marriott which was a fairly new hotel right across from the convention center. You can walk across the street and within 100 steps you are inside the convention center. The hotel is much smaller scale compare to other Marriott’s we stayed in the past, but it does offer you enough amenities like a social eatery space, fitness room, outdoor pool, restaurant, meeting room, bar and EV charge station. The unique custom built onsite social meeting area is set up underneath the garage with chair, tables, sofas, two corn holes and two big screen TV’s

We didn’t tried the pool because it was over 110 degrees out there when we stayed, but we did use their fitness room which was very new and clean. They offer the latest treadmills and elliptical models along with free weights.

The self-parking offers two Tesla charging station and also about 6 to 8 regular EV charging station inside the parking area.

We have booked a regular room using our Marriott Bonvoy free night to a king and sofa sleeper for two nights, the General Manager Keith Gamberg was kind enough to upgrade us to a two queen beds in a high floor overviewing the Wynn and Encore Hotel and Casino. Along with the reservation Mr. Gamberg also prepared balloons, sweets and strawberry chocolate for one of my daughter for her birthday.

As a Platinum Elite Member, we are always in good hands when staying with any of the Marriott group hotels and resorts. With our member level, we usually get free breakfast for two each morning. However, Mr. Gamberg has instructed the restaurant to allow us enjoy free breakfast for the four of us.

Overall, although this was not an upscale hotel like JW Marriott, Westin or the Cosmopolitan in Vegas, the treatment we received from front desk or behind the scene were way more than what we could have asked.

Thank you Mr. Gamber and the entire team at Las Vegas Marriot, you guys deserve a big shout out!!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Marriott. The location is right by the Convention centre close to the North End of tbe Strip. It's relatively close to the strip while feeling removed and much more quiet. It's only a block or so from the monorail which we used but next time I'd just walk to the Strip (the monorail is a pain to access and the amount of walking just to get on And off makes just walking not much more work).

The property is slightly dated but well kept and the staff were all extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The rooms are all oversized one room suites (I believe they're all pretty much the same with the exception of being one king or two queen). We had a two queen suite and it had a large seating area, a good sized bathroom and a wet bar and fridge. We ate breakfast there both days of our stay off the menu and also the buffet. The food was delicious as was the coffee and the buffet includes made to order eggs which was nice.

The pool is small but nice and very warm and there's a cool outdoor area with seating, giant Jenga and Cornhole which we enjoyed playing. Parking was a reasonable $20 and we appreciated that there was plenty of free ev chargers (tesla and regular).

We'll definitely be back!

Nice hotel. Not the best location. Difficult to drive into when convention lets out. Parking available for guests with a charge. Not a huge lobby but that’s because they have a bar and a sitting area. There’s a cute outdoor ‘garden’ area where you can relax in. Pool and workout room. That’s all I saw. Our room was cozy. A little crowded but cute. The bed was so comfortable. Pillows a little softer than I like but I put two together. Nice size closet with lots of hangers. A safe is also available for use. Our view was of the construction site opposite. But the floor was high enough that we weren’t bothered by traffic noise. The bathroom is modern looking and larger than I expected. I like being able to apply makeup while he showers and not have dog on the mirror since the sink area is separate from the shower and toilet area. The sofa isn’t comfortable so we watched tv in the bedroom. There are some restaurants and a Walgreens within a 10minute walk but it’s a little sketchy of an area without conventioneers walking about. Overall not a bad hotel. Would stay there again.

I normally stay at locations away from the strip when visiting family, but when searching for this recent trip found this hotel had a great price and was highly rated - so thought I'd give it a try!! Located a block off the strip the hotel has a secure garage that you need to use your room key to get into and to leave, as well as using your key to enter the hotel and to use the elevator. I appreciate these security steps, especially being so close to the strip! The staff delivered top notch customer service and were very helpful during our 4 night stay. We had a suite with a view of the strip. The restaurant was closed due to covid restrictions, but room service was available and we used it daily. The food was great! I will definitely stay here again!!

This hotel is nice and has good people working there and is very convenient to the convention center BUT it has inadequate elevators. I spent 1.5 hours last night stuck in one their elevators. I had to call 911 to send a fireman over to get four of us out. The hotel couldn’t open the doors and they couldn’t get an Otis elevator technician to the hotel.

I thought this was just a one in a million thing and thought little of it until today. Today I was standing waiting among a group of airmen in town for training when I over hear one say that he was stuck in the elevator last year for over an hour. I then noticed a sign saying only two people should ride the elevator at a time. The actual elevator plate says 3500 pounds or 15 people. If the elevator can only handle two people at a time they should shut the property down until they can upgrade the capacity.

What is the probability that two people were standing waiting on an elevator today and individuals had been stuck in that elevator at different times?

Dear S2671TZmikem, Thank you for being our guest recently and taking the time to share your review. We would like to offer our sincere apologies for your experience. Please know that these situations are not typical. Our hotel undergoes regular safety and maintenance inspections, and the elevator vendor has inspected our property to ensure everything is in working order. The signage recommending two people per elevator is regarding COVID-19 protocols and social distancing for our guests. We are grateful for your patience. We would love to welcome you back whenever you return to the area, so we have an opportunity to regain your confidence. Thank you again, and safe travels. Warmest Regards, Melissa Irons, Front Office Manager

At check-in, I was warmly welcomed by the front desk person. She was quick but genuinely friendly and helpful.
My room was clean and spacious, a suite with a seperate bedroom, living area, dressing area, bathroom, and wet bar. There were two TVs, one in the bedroom and one in the living room. I had a View of the Las Vegas Strip.
Marriott typically has excellent beds, and this king-size bed was no exception. The bed was clean and well-made, and I slept great. The room was quiet and cozy at night.
The room is excellent for working in. There is a friendly desk with ample space and a comfy chair. There’s a lack of modern charger outlets, but there were plenty of standard power outlets.
The room is due for a refresh, and the TVs are small and outdated.
The shower worked well, it was easy to adjust the water temperature, and it stayed consistent.
They provided me with a few complimentary bottles of water, which I kept in the small fridge beneath the wet bar.
The complimentary shampoo and conditioner were fine, but the body wash had an odd scent. I used the bar soap instead. The bathroom was stocked with plenty of towels.
The lobby was comfortable, and it looks like it has been recently updated. The lobby bar was popular in the evening, and the bartender was very attentive and gave excellent service. I didn’t have any food, but I did have a round of drinks each night of my stay.
I would rate the Las Vegas Marriott five stars except for the small TVs in the room and the location. It’s an excellent location for folks attending a conference, but it’s a bit of a hike if you want to grab a quick bite or a coffee. The Curb app worked great here for getting a cab; it’s just that I always needed a taxi to get to The Strip resorts.
All in all, I could stay here again, although it isn’t always the best location for me.

We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel, and we felt is a very good choice. Initially, I considered hotels on the strip but later decided to select this hotel to avoid the crowd. It turned out to be a wise choice, as this hotel is relatively close to the strip at the same time in a good location.

The rooms are well-appointed and clean. The reception staff is friendly. Also, the breakfast is surprisingly good.

This hotel charges parking fee of $15 per day. Also, you need to pay extra if you need faster wifi. Both of those are questionable business practices in today's age. On the positive side, there are no resort charges ripoff.

There is a charging facility in the parking lot for EVs, which was a bonus for us. Overall we are satisfied with the stay and would consider again on our next trip.

This is a nice hotel. Nothing crazy compared to vegas standards but it was clean and the staff were all very friendly. I heard the breakfast buffet is good but didn’t try it. The gym is basically good for cardio. They had a few dumb bells. My room had its own sitting area. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Standard hotel bathroom. The hotel is about 2 blocks from the strip and it cost $27 for a cab from the airport so take an uber to save money.

I think this Marriott has been here a long time, but it is very nicely appointed and updated. The room was large and had plenty of storage space and a sitting area away from the bed where you could watch tv or read without disturbing a fellow sleeper. The staff was well trained and knowledgeable and the bar and restaurant area was clean and pleasant. The bartenders and servers were head and shoulders over most I have encountered. The location is perfect - just a couple blocks off the strip (near the Wynn) and walking distance to the convention center. It is also close to a monorail station for those who find it useful. The room tariff is acceptable for a higher end hotel, and I was very pleased withour stay.

Stayed here 2 nights before and after a Grand Canyon Rafting Trip. First night we had a room on the convention center side which has some construction going on. Lots of noise early the next morning from construction equipment. Room was large with a sitting area and small kitchen area with sink and refrigerator. Beds were very comfortable. Had to ask for more coffee, cups, and creamer since there were 3 of us in room. Did not use any other hotel amenities. Not much in surrounding area. It was a little bit of a hike to a nearby CVS and back. On the next stay a few days later we asked for a room away from convention center and it was much quieter. Had to order breakfast since restaurant was closed and there is really nothing nearby at all. It was just okay. They did bring it up to room. It appears the bar/dining area is undergoing some renovation or maintenance. Stay would have been perfect if they had a dining area but these are odd times. The tables in front of the check in/out desk are also odd and cumbersome.
