Came to this casino for some gambling after MOA was a disappointment so we get back got to the casino floor 8-9:30 got a drink at the Drinx bar then one of the bartenders who was a young lady who had tattoos she asked to see my I.D I'm 38 years old and my mom made a comment to her about the I.D said that I was older then bartender said well we need to see all I.Ds to people who are under 40 years old my mom called b.s the picture I sent here you can clearly see I'm of age but still got checked. My mom was washing her face and brushed her teeth last night before bed the water pressure was very bad it was a trickle. Then I got up 9:30 am this morning showered the water wasn't hot to shower it was little bit more then warm and water pressure to shower wasn't good I expect hot water and better water pressure instead of very little for 197.00 dollar room for one night we expect to be a little better hot showers and a bit more friendliness when it comes to getting a drink at the bar

I stay here often due to getting my room comped. The rooms are nice. I never had an issue with the hotel until my last stay. During check-in, I was told there wouldn’t be housekeeping service due to a two-night stay. I have no problem with that. However, when I was stepping out of the shower the first morning, my hotel room door started to open, and once the housekeeper heard me in the bathroom, she said, “Housekeeping!” She was clearly shocked to find me in the room. She did not knock before entering. This was all suspicious to me as I had the Do Not Disturb sign on the outside of the door. When I was done getting dressed, I went to the front desk to tell them, and it was of no concern to them, and I only received an apology for the inconvenience. They weren’t understanding my point that a housekeeper shouldn’t be walking into a room with a DND on the door and not even knock before entering. I’d be very careful and not leave anything of value in the rooms.

Dear MinnesotaMom09, Thank you for your review. We are disappointed to read about your experience as this highlights events that are not a typical guest experience. Please know we do have procedures when entering a room however in some cases we do have to ensure a room is vacated even if the Do Not Disturb sign is on as sometimes it is not removed before checkout. We will be sure to relay your comments to our housekeeping leadership team for further analysis and future improvements. Our team hopes to have the pleasure of welcoming you back for a more memorable visit.

Entire casino, rooms, even the public washrooms are extremely clean. But there is a lot of walking. We were only staying one night so I booked one of the more expensive rooms in the Tower. After check in we walked about a half mile to the elevators! This place is just way too big. Leaving the room you again have a heck of a walk to get players card and also find a restaurant. Food is mediocre at best. Breakfast was very good. Another thing, for toiletries you get the smallest bar of soap I have ever seen. That was just unbelievable.

I recently stayed here (Oct 28) And I specifically requested a non-smoking room due to my allergies, I arrived there fairly late afternoon and checked into my room which was on the 15th floor and away from the elevators. When I opened the door to my room there was an over powering smell of some sort of air freshener, I didn’t realize until after I changed into my PJ’s that the air freshener had been applied to coverup the cigarette smell. I developed a terrible head ache and had to take a double dose of my allergy meds. In the morning I attempted to talk to the manager Kelsey who I was told was in a meeting so I left her a written note and followed up with a telephone call. My call was never returned and when I called again the call was screened and put into voicemail. Very unprofessional and very disappointing to say the least. They apparently need new management ASAP.

Hilton prices, Motel 6 service/amenities. Having spent several thousand dollars here in three days, without gambling, my first impressions have been confirmed several times over. Over booked a room, since some of our party arrived early and got a room instead of waiting for our arrival. The hotel budged not a bit, so we paid two nights of an empty room, when the hotel was fully booked, and could have sold that empty room out. We knew people looking for rooms. What kind of service industry does that…lazy, and not in their best interest. Our booked room with two queen beds had one? Not even water bottles to buy for coffee in the room, so tap water coffee with powdered creamer, although bottled water is free outside the room? They do not make up the rooms, and no one told us this!!! I’ve never heard of such a thing…again, isn’t this a service industry? Rude bartenders, as in more than two, who “deign” to wait on you. Horrid food. Best bet is the food court. I had a lovely time despite this poor excuse for a hotel, because family was there for a nearby wedding. Unless your entire party is staying here, don’t bother. This place is raking in profits, that’s for sure:(

WE checked in Dec.5 2023 with no problems is it was our 24th wedding Anniversary. our room was nice and the heaters warmed it up comfortably with in fair amount time. The next day we headed down to gamble and asked the cleaning lady if she could get to out room, She replied couldn't clean my room with out permission from the front desk, I then proceeded to the front desk the they don't turn down rooms anymore since covid. If I want a clean room the manager suggested I check out and check in again if I really wanted to do it myself.Say what! Maybe it would me more helpful if I pulled all the sheets and towels and they let me use the washer and drier to clean them myself and then make the bed. I am no Karen I don't think it was an unrealistic expection. (Wrong no soup for you) They now only clear the room for departing customer, If you stay more than one night you become the maid. For god's sake I went a hotel so I didn't have to fuss with that stuff it's a vacation to get away from it all.THe most upsetting issue was the managers aloof attitude. He seem unable to comprehend my displeasure with the do it yourself policy.I am sure this policy is hugh cost saver for the casino. they save personnel time by skipping washing and changing the rooms. if the industry standard is to reduce gest services to increase the properties bottom line. I asked for a reciept the printed out a blank one referring to the booking agent oline to provide one.Ther are many beter option where customer's are valued.

Spent the day here on a Friday , in town for a concert, was pleased . Very clean, huge facility, we were there most of the day and I know we didn’t see it all! Hotel, casino, eateries, concert venues, everything you could want or need is there. We ubered in from downtown Minneapolis , it’s quite a haul from there, Uber fare kinda pricey. Later learned you could take the light rail from downtown Minneapolis to the Mall of America, from there you could pick up a free shuttle bus to the casino, which runs every couple hours, that is the way to go , if your not in a hurry. Would love to visit again if ever in the area, slots seemed loose!

Poor service, angry security. Guard wasn't happy that my mask didn't cover my eyes she got in my face. Not enough handicapped parking close, no valet or other shuttkes to call. The parking lit is leased with contaminated masks. When in the hospital no way to send a proxy to get your promo. Call the alleged customer service team. Get laughed at and given a bogus number for some supposed covid expert. No call back
Stopped coming as often as I used too. My money looks better in my pocket.

My recent stay at Mystic Lake Casino Hotel provided a generally enjoyable experience, although there were a few aspects that left room for improvement. So let's get into it. The bars were great and the bartenders were all professional. An interesting highlight was the lady selling hot dogs out of a cart!

It's worth mentioning that the clientele at times felt a bit sketchy on the casino floor, which may have affected the overall atmosphere. While this is beyond the hotel's control, it did influence the overall impression. In the casino, there was someone washing themself in the bathroom that looked like he didn't sleep for days.

On a brighter note, the room I stayed in was clean, nice, and spacious, providing a comfortable environment for relaxation. The room was well worth the price.

Unfortunately, the check-in process was a major letdown. Despite the presence of three staff members, one appeared idle while the line for hotel check-in grew to a massive size. The lack of urgency and efficiency from the staff was disappointing, leaving guests waiting for an extended period. This aspect could definitely use improvement to enhance the overall experience.

Additionally, the restaurant options within the hotel left something to be desired. It would greatly benefit from a broader selection and improved culinary offerings to elevate the dining experience for guests.

Booked “Non Smoking” room. Appears rooms all reek like cigarettes - air freshener used to try to cover it up. At one hundred ninety dollars a night we were duped. Repeated attempts to speak with manager were REFUSED. Why???
