Stayed for a few days .doing work in Fonthill. Room was clean. Supplied a bottle of water. People that work there are really nice accommodating people. Room is clean. Furniture is a little older. Tv was a good size. Room is priced right. It’s a great spot fpr working in town. Water pressure is not great. But like I said. Good price. Great people. Clean and quiet. What else can you ask for.

At first I thought a motel we are staying at for the weekend I was thinking this is not going to work for me but to my surprise...it is so clean and they owners are really nice. The mattress is a bit lumpy and I like flat pillows but I still slept. We are only in our room to sleep otherwise we are out all day so it works perfect for us! The bathrooms are super clean and I am really picky about that. Even the shower was clean no mold anywhere! Great motel for a great price!! I would stay here again!!

The older couple running the motel are very sweet and friendly. The grounds are well kept, though the pool was empty in July. The room itself hadn't been updated in a while, but the bedding, towels and mattress all seemed new. It was very clean, which was my most important criterion. When my partner arrived, he called it "creepy" and wanted to move but high season and 3-day weekend prices forced us to stay. I slept very well and had no issues, but I am more of a hippie traveller who doesn't mind scruffy if it's clean. The surroundings were great--green hills, peaceful.

Stayed the night in Fonthill whilst visiting family. For the price it can’t be beat. The decor is old but it’s cleaner than most. The tv was new and large and the fridge worked excellent. We had a room with two double beds and a pull out.

The Motel staff were very welcoming and accommodating as the couple at the front desk chatted with us about restaurants, stores and local events in the small community. Situated approximately 20 min away from the hectic nightlight of Niagara falls, Perfect if you just want to rest and get away from the distractions of lights and noise. Rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. I believe it was the owners son who was BBQ on the premise offered us if we like to eat or have a drink as he was entertaining a small group of friends. Very generous and courteous.

We spent 2 nights in this wonderful Motel. The room, the scenery and the staff were all great. The staff were very courteous and very accommodating that we were able to check-in earlier than usual. The bed was very comfortable, the room very clean, and the complimentary wifi was an awesome bonus.

I had sold my house, and purchased another. There were 4 days between the closings, and I had to find a short term place for my dog and I. There aren't many places that accept pets in this area, so when I found Hipwell's and it was very reasonably priced, I jumped at it.
The room was small, the shower stall even smaller. It smelled musty, but it was clean. The bed was comfortable, the linens were clean, there was plenty of hot water, the mini fridge and microwave solved many of my issues.
The owner was VERY accommodating, and friendly!! They called daily to make sure everything was okay, if I needed anything. I felt very safe and welcomed there. Was it 5 stars? No. But I'd stay again in a pinch. There's more to life than self-indulgences. My dog was welcomed (leashed of course) and that's more important that spending hundreds of dollars elsewhere.

We wanted somewhere outside of Niagara and found Hipwell's online, the write-ups looked great but in reality the price tag should have said it all. Every aspect of the 'motel' is old, tired and run down. The rooms are so small there is little room to move, perhaps shuffle - around the furniture. The vinyl patterned wallpaper hasn't been updated since the 1970's and neither have any of the other furnishings. We endured our night (because the owner threatened to charge our card if we cancelled anyway) and left as early in the morning as we could to go eat breakfast somewhere (White Meadows Farm) where customer service actually meant something.

When we pulled up to the motel we were not impressed at all. It looks and actually is dilapidated. And for the price I am very disappointed, however the price was lower than any other and that and the average review swayed me to go there given that it was for a one night stay over only without any time to sit and stay other than diving in the pool.
On the upside there are: clean room, clean towels, lots of hot water and friendly owners. And for a one night stayover - a bed and shower is works. So it passed there.
On the downside, it is nothing to brag about. *It is dilapidated. *The rooms are old, *The beds matrasses are just okay. *The pool was closed, which was why I chose this hotel over some others. great disappointment and not a discount offered. *For $85CAN it is very overpriced. *The pictures are as outdated as is the hotel. Set your expectations at a tent with a hardtop and you will be pleasantly surprised.

At first I didn't think it was gonna be so bad but to my surprise it was a horrible experience , when I opened the door for the first time I was in shock and couldn't get a refund ,the smell was moldy ,the scratches from animals on the insides of the door, had to run the shower for ten minutes before showering to get hot water and the beds are so hard and pillows flat and worn out , the blinds would not close all the way shut and the blinding light in the night shining in from outside while I tried to sleep ,pulling in to the drive I almost ran over countless cinderblocks just laying about , long story short the place should be condemned and don't let the other reviews fool you the Wi-Fi sucks big time
