Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
New & clean room with great facilities to cook your meal. Laundry service is for 2$ per wash or dry. Location is good next to the outlet and near Universal studios. Nice breakfast with variety of options. Room service was available only per request, as you need to ask for it before 2PM. I enjoyed my 7 days stay and definitely will come back.

I stayed here for a week during the Walt Disney World Marathon weekend and working remote. Although it was more than 15 minutes away from Walt Disney World resort, it's a great location if you want to stay near Universal Orlando resort. The hotel feels brand new. I worked remote here as well, so I'm happy I had a desk with built in USB and plug ports on top of the desk to plug my laptop and devices without crawling under. Room came with a kitchen if you need to cook. Enjoyed the included breakfast in the morning and the quiet fitness center for a quick workout. There's a McDonald's and Starbucks within less than 5 minute walking distance of the hotel, but you may need to use the drive thru with your car since the dining areas may be closed as was the case for Starbucks.

Great new hotel 5min from Universal/20min from Disney. It was our first time staying at a hotel in the USA since the pandemic started and I was very apprehensive due to some horrific recent reviews that I read while researching all kinds of hotels/rentals. One of my main concerns was cleanliness and this hotel had it on point. We inspected every sheet and towel as soon as we got there and every thing smelled and looked clean. The rooms are spacious (they ended up giving us an upgrade due to Bonvoy status) and it all looks pretty new still. Staff was welcoming and attentive upon checkin/checkout (didn’t need to interact with them for anything else). The only downside, and I would give 4.5 rating if it was possible, was the AC unit in the rooms. It looks like they are old AC units that were reused. You can’t change the wind direction and the thermostat doesn’t work very well. This was in both rooms and one of the rooms had a terrible noise coming from the AC machine outside. This was a little uncomfortable. But, despite this AC detail, we still thought it was good value for money and, again, considering the many other reviews that I read while researching, this place was above our expectations.

Staying 5 nights, while the rooms were new being only 1 year old at the time of visit, the hotel overall is decent quality for modern millennials, hipsters, and those who enjoy surface with no substance.
Hotel staff is woefully ignorant, and management exists to put out fires from guests which demand the rooms they reserved. If this is the face Marriott, consider alternatives in the future.
Breakfast is completely adequate, and a welcome free addition to other area options, however the lobby continually plays loud music at all hours, which becomes rather annoying.
The lobby, dining, and lounge areas are modern, and simple, while being very brightly lit, with large windows providing ample daylight and views of the parking areas.
The guest room hallways are exceedingly, excessively over lit. Exit ones hotel room in the early morning and expect to be blasted into a bright future. Sunglasses are recommended.
Parking, pool area, fitness, and business (2 computers) are equal to other, much cheaper area options.
Most rooms have kitchenette option, with is modestly appointed, and easy to use. Bathroom and bed facilities in room are updated, if bland.
Final thoughts: those who enjoy modern visuals will enjoy the angular and uncomfortable decor. Those with families, small children, or who enjoy the quieter atmosphere should look elsewhere.
Would not recommend. High chance of overselling/over reservation. The reserved room may not actually be available.

Impressed with my hotel choice from the moment I walked into hotel with very spacious lobby and everything looked very new. Associates were all exceptional. I stayed two nights so I got to know several on a 1st name basis who treated me exceptionally well: Lauren McPhee (front desk - who originally checked me in - Lauren very personable and extremely helpful); Nelson (front desk - who insured my 2nd night was as good as my 1st night); 7th floor housekeeping was exceptional. Location is great. Ran before dawn each morning. Every street well lit and Universal Studios actually close enough to run and just look around. This will be my hotel of choice on my next visit to Orlando. Thanks for a great stay/experience.

Amazing hotel, brand new, with free breakfast and free parking. The breakfast is very complet, with fruits, yogurt, breads, cereals, muffins, waffles, juices, coffee and tea, milk. The room Is spcious, with kitchen. Bathroom with good amenities. Friendly staff at reception, the guy at check in was very polite and the staff is always saying hello and welcome back. There is a babecue area that you can use for free, pool, gym. Location is excellent, you can walk to the premium outlet, is near universal parks, in the middle of orlando, eith affordable price. Loved it!

Nearly new TownPlace Suites near Universal Studios in Orlando. The hotel is clean and modern with a bright, clean lobby area with seating and a bar for evening snacks and drinks. The bathrooms were super clean, which is extremely important to me. I was upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite which was spacious with a kitchenette and very high ceilings - which I live. Felt so airy and open. The hotel is in a great location and is walking distance to a Starbucks, a Bahama Breeze and an outlet mall with Old Navy, Nike Outlet, Guess Outlet and many others. I wasn't there for the parks and was solo so I don't know how close the park is but it is right across from other attractions, including the Fun Zone amusement park. My only complaint is my grandchildren were also in town to go to the parks and came to my room to swim. The pool was dirty with leaves and paper. We saw a pizza receipt at the bottom of the pool. The front desk was alerted and we waited another 30 minutes but no one came to address the situation. They were disappointed with being unable to swim. Everything was good and I LOVE the all day coffee with various creamers in the lobby!

A group of us came off a cruise in Cape Canaveral.… One of our members had made reservations for four rooms, for 9 of us, at this hotel. We arrived before check-in, around 11:00 AM, knowing that we would likely not be able to check into our rooms. We were hoping that we would be able to find a place to store luggage until we would be able to check into our rooms. The person that had made the reservations had used a Government of Canada discount to book the rooms. When she tried to check everyone in, she was dismayed to find that the lady behind the desk was not agreeable. She insisted that proper documentation was to be shown, but when we asked what documents she was looking for, she was not able to tell us. She was rude, she would not listen to us, and she interrupted us while we were speaking. We tried to tell her that we did not need the discount, but she would not listen to us. At this point, we were unsure if there were rooms available for us. I have travelled a lot in my career, and I have NEVER been treated so discourteously and rudely in a hotel. She was rude to the client before us and the one after us. I have never given a bad review as I always try to understand the other person’s perspective. However, I felt that I could not let this pass!! The hotel itself was great! Breakfast left a little to be desired, and needed more attention, but the rooms were great. The pool was good (cold even for this Canadian…. But loved it!!) The bar service- was excellent! We loved sitting around the outside fire…... overall, a great hotel…. But I left with a bad taste in my mouth because of the terrible reception we received at the hands of the receptionist.

This hotel surpassed our expectations. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were greeted with a wonderful smell and could just tell how clean the space was.
Ashley was very friendly and helpful throughout the check in process.
The room was more than we expected, very spacious and clean.
The continental breakfast was excellent, perfect for kicking off the day. The pearl sugar waffle was a bonus.
Having no vehicle, the location was perfect since we could have walked to the Orlando Marketplace Outlet and Orlando International Premium Outlet.

This was not a trip for pleasure our family patriarch passed away the day hurricane Ian started hitting the gulf coast then Orlando. I was able to get there on that Monday to help family with both.
I booked a 3 night stay at TownePlace Suites Orlando Southwest, When I arrived that evening and speaking with the front desk staff they were amazing. Asked for a upper floor room and they honored it. The room was perfect it was clean, New, small kitchen with Fridge microwave, bed dressing was top notch, desk with plenty of power outlets and outstanding bathroom. One of the best rooms rivaling the Marriott in Tokyo I've stayed in. And I've stayed in a lot of Marriott brand hotels.
But what stood out on this hotel was the Staff especially Finn at the front desk and the gentleman she worked with. Very helpful and understanding during my stay. And that meant a lot. She needs to be recognized for her outstanding customer service.
