When in Miami, I always select this hotel. Due to the beautiful pool area, and the stunning lake views, the hotel has a relaxing, resort feel. The rooms are extremely spacious and comfortable with all possible amenities provided. The food at the downstairs bar is very good, and the buffet breakfast has great food choices. The hotel staff are efficient friendly and welcoming. The highlight of each stay for me is meeting the lovely Mr. Michel who has loyally worked as a server in the breakfast area for a number of years. He seems to remember every guest who has ever spent time at the hotel! He has a genuine, friendly manner and has an amazing smile whilst greeting diners. He really is the face of Pullman Hotel Miami Airport.

Landed at Miami and needed a hotel for 1 night for a connecting flight. Good rates, lovely hotel, free shuttle from airport to hotel and back. Late check out until 1pm which was brilliant. The wife has asthma so they offered us a anti allergy room at no extra cost. Food was nice and not stupidly priced. Nice pool area. All in all it was a excellent stay and would definitely stay again. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel if your planning on visiting Miami beach every day as its 40 mins each way with traffic and approximately $45 each way in a taxi.

We have been staying at the Pullman , previously the Sofitel, for many years and have seen the standards drop. Housekeeping is sloppy....beds badly made and bedskirts all askew. Probably in line with the Pullman brand there are less toiletries etc. in the room....although we regularly stay at the Pullman in Paris CDG airport and they are keeping to a higher brand standard. The restaurant staff are friendly but once again the menu has been oaired down and the niceties such as flowers on the tables etc. are no longer present. We continue to stay as the location suits our travel arrangements and we are Aclub members.

I have only ever written reviews that they are positive on Trip Advisor but I have read other reviews of this hotel and agree with some of the other reviewers, feel compelled to write on this occasion.
We arrived at 10.30pm to be greeted by a receptionist at the front desk sucking a lollipop which she did not remove until it became obvious we could not understand her. We asked about dining options and were told the restaurant would close at 11pm so would not take an order and nor would room service. She gave us a pamphlet and advised us to order from Uber Eats. There was no welcome or mention of us being Platinum members. On the way to the room the valet told us that room service would serve until midnight which was helpful and actually the meal was very good, with a lovely server. The room was tired and the desk chairs were definitely shabby. Even so, we realised we had been upgraded although there was no mention of this at check-in. We had booked for two nights although we were leaving at 8.30pm on the second day but facing an overnight flight, we wanted flexibility to have a shower and a relax before we left rather than waiting for hours in the airport.
When we checked out, we explained why we were leaving in the evening despite a two night booking and also said we would be paying cash as it was the end of our vacation. The receptionist simply said “ok, wait here” and disappeared for the best part of 5 minutes, returning with no explanation as to the delay. She told me the bill verbally and I asked for a print out but was told I couldn’t have one as we were leaving early. I asked for one to be emailed to me but was told they didn’t have my email address (yet as stated before, I am a Platinum member who booked through my account on the Accor website). Eventually, she said that if I provided an email address, the invoice would be sent in the morning at the due checkout time. I can only say that 36 hours on, I have received no invoice, nor have I been credited with my status/reward points.
I am very surprised and disappointed by the customer service in this hotel. I have been loyal to Accor for many years and this is my far the worst experience I have had. This was our first stay in a Pullman but if this is the standard, it is not one of the brands in the group I will be using again. It was a very disappointing end to an otherwise fantastic holiday

I was looking forward to this vacation, but to my surprise this hotel made it a nightmare. Me and my friend specifically chose this location because it was non-smoking. We noticed from the first day that they were people smoking by the pool and a very strong smell from my hallway and decided to ignore it and try to stay away from it because that is not what we want it. We told housekeeping that it was a smell to no avail. The day we checked out we had a fight to catch so they didn’t think twice about making sure they knew it wasn’t us. Imagine my surprise when I saw that I was charged $250 without being notified and without any proof because I was smoking. My friend has severe asthma so she cannot smoke and as her friend out do not smoke because of her. We called the hotel they stated that somebody on the engineer in team, or housekeeping smelled the stench. The actual room responsible was right across the hall from us and they were proactive and making it seem like it was us any indeed was not us. Imagine having to send your personal medical records to prove that you physically can’t smoke just so you can get $250 back. I will never stay here again, I will do everything in my power to make sure nobody stays here again. You should at least receive the courtesy of a phone call or a conversation before you are assumed to be the culprit of smokeDue to the color of your skin

I am spending my last night at the Pullman and definitely I am not going to miss coming back to this room.
Although the placement is extremely convenient as close to the company I was visiting, overall this is one of the worst hotels I have been at in the past couple of years.
The room is spacious but everything is extremely old! And stiffed! The moquette is full of stains and the walls seem like they have not been repainted for quite some time!
The bathroom looks like coming out of an old movie. White tiles, a tiny sink and a shower curtain! Let’s not even mention the amenities! I finished my shower gel and nobody replaced it in the past 3 days, insects on the floor were never cleaned! I wonder what the cleaning lady was doing every day...
And the best of the story is that although we are a very important client of the hotel, our company brings dozens of clients every month, I was asked to pay 40$ to check out 2 hours later than the check out time! Outrageous!
Definitely not an enjoyable experience!

The reviews would have you believe the Pullman is modern and comfortable. That wasn’t our experience. We got in late last night and found ourselves in a room with a nearly non-functioning air conditioner. In the morning, I walked downstairs for a cup of free coffee (standard in even cheap hotels) and was told I’d have to buy one in the restaurant. Next time, someplace else.

I was going on a cruise and arrived the day before and made a reservation for this hotel. The shuttle at the airport came within 10 minutes of getting to the pickup area. Check in was speedy and the desk attendant was polite. The room was wonderful. Even though we were directly across from the airport, there was no noise in the room. My friend and I ate at the bar area and the food was good. However, we were advised by another patron not to get the pizza. My only concern is not enough towel racks in the bathroom.

We love Accor Hotels around the world and always give 5 stars. Nearly everything was up to your high standards about this stay too - reception, room, restaurant and shuttle bus.

The reason for only 3 stars is due to the most appalling piece of very rude service in the bar. On Tuesday 25th February at 6.00pm we went to get our complimentary drinks. The female server was very unpleasant when I questioned whether the open ginger beer bottle still had any ‘fizz’. She rudely said that if she had to open another bottle she would have to charge us for it and it would no longer be complimentary. I also asked for a long glass and that was met with a scowl.

Later my husband went to the bar and asked for another drink. The same employee took the order but before dispensing it saw some other people at the end of the bar. She went to them and was chatting in Spanish (as he can’t speak Spanish she could have been saying anything). I saw what was happening and so after a few minutes went to the bar and suggested we went straight into the restaurant. My husband went over to the employee and cancelled the order at which point she said “I will be with you in a minute”. Not even a hint of an apology

We have had such rude service from any Accor employee EVER. She is letting your brand down badly. However, apart from her we enjoyed our stay and the restaurant service restored our faith.

To our surprise the Pullman hotel was impressive, especially it’s lower lobby and decor. The pool was nice but small; however, it had a waterfall and view of the blue lagoon that added a special touch. Check in was smooth thanks to Anthony (aka Tony) who as a trainee did a stupendous job. He was very courteous, friendly and informative of the amenities available at the hotel. Unfortunately the Tavolo restaurant was closed and food services were very limited. Our room was presentable but a bit outdated. The air conditioner was louder than the plane noise from the airport. Housekeeping was upon request and luckily for us we had Checeline who clean our room. She also provided any toiletries and towel at our request when she was cleaning on our floor. Overall, our stay was nice. Since we had a car, we didn’t require the shuttle service; however, they were available every half hour. Parking was a bit expensive compared with surrounding hotels. Definitely would return to the Pullman Hotel when in Miami.

How to travel from here to downtown Miami attractions

You may request an UBER from the Hotel or a regular Taxi. It arrives to the hotel soon and the trip takes approximately 25-30 minutes.

Just outside the airport, there is an area for hotel courtesy buses - there are signs. You need to keep a lookout for the hotel bus, they are about every half hour. If you are a late arrival, there is nothing open at the hotel, no room service or mini bar. Hope this helps
