This is one of the worst Hampton’s I’ve stayed at. I’m a diamond member so I’ve stayed at quite a few. Carpet in hall is warn out and dirty looking. Worn out non reflective mirror in room. Broken tile in bathroom and drain stop missing. Room smelled of some kind of cover up scent and I have many allergies. I stay at Hampton’s because they are suppose to have a set standard for all their hotels. It’s the reason I picked this hotel near the airport. In the future, I think I will be trying a different hotel. I frequent this area quite a bit since I have family here. The staff was not so friendly at check in. I observe them dealing with a different customer at the front desk earlier in the day around 10:30 AM. The guest asked if they would be able to check into their room early. The response they got from the front desk wasn’t aggressive. There is a fee to check in early. of course they got an assertive response back off if the room is ready at check-in time of 3 PM do we get a discount? One woman responded appropriately saying that let’s worry about that if it happens. The other younger worker said I’m not going to answer that question, no you don’t get a discount. Then they both went on to have a conversation while I stood there about how terrible customers are these days. Very inappropriate. This whole building looks very worn out and appears to be in a not so great area area you don’t walk around at night. Luckily, you have to use your key card to get off the floor of your elevator.
I was also disappointed when I checked in that they didn’t do price matching. I’ve never been to Hampton Inn that didn’t do price matching. I literally had to stand there at the front desk and book online through a travel agency and wait for them to get the confirmation for 10 minutes so I can save $50.00 especially as a diamond member I found this extremely disappointing. There is nothing pleasant about their attitudes. No friendliness no customer service nothing. Since the Rams win to be ready until 3 PM we left came back much later in the day around 8:30 PM. This new employee working behind the desk was equally unfriendly. Not welcoming in anyway. So disappointing for Hampton Inn.

Free airport shuttle picked us up rather quick! Had a really early flight ,great staff allowed us to have breakfast and then check in early! I was disappointed it was not in a location where you can walk to anything but the hotel shuttle took us to the metro mover which we took to Bayside marketplace for a fun afternoon! Arrived back around dinner time and found several food trucks set up in the parking lot. which was very convenient The ones with burgers was excellent! We then did a little late night swimming . The pool was clean and loved being able to use it late.Our rooms were clean and what you would expect, bed was comfortable air worked well.This was not a high end hotel but it checked all the boxes for its class and was priced right. Free breakfast buffet in the morning was good, plenty of choices, well tended, We were staying pre-cruise and took the hotel's inexpensive shuttle to port. I nust say everyone we encountered at this hotel from the desk to maintanance was freindly and attentive which just put the icing on the cake. We will use this location again!

Arrived at 7.15pm after travelling for 15 hours to be told that our booking for two rooms was not on their system. I had booked with Ebookers and to pay at the hotel. I had a disscussion with the front desk and was told i could have two rooms not at the rates on my reservation paperwork and i should take it up with Ebookers as they do this quite oftern. Has an Hilton member this not good customer service. The lady on checkout next morning was very helpful and gave me a refund on the rooms

When we (a family with two young children and my 75 yr old parents) called from the airport we were told there was no shuttle (despite the fact that we had confirmed the shuttle) and that we should take a cab and they would reimburse us. Then when we arrived at this property around 11:45pm with a bedsonline.com reservation (arranged by our travel agent) we were told we had no reservation and they were full. We contacted bedsonline.com for assistance and spent the next 4 hours sitting in the lobby of this hotel while bedsonline failed to sort out our problem for us (review for them to follow!). However, while we did this we watched 7 families get turned away with similar situations but different booking agents. Warning: this hotel seems to have an on-line booking problem and you should be careful if you book here. The only upside was the night desk manager who let me use his phone to start trying to solve this problem...

We stayed one night after flying into the nearby airport. The hotel shuttle picked us up within about 10-15 minutes after we called the hotel to let them know that we had arrived. The hotel is quite close to the airport, and we could hear planes taking off but they were muffled enough as not to disturb us. The front desk clerk was quick to get us checked in and when we asked about transportation options to the cruise port the next day, she offered to sign us up for a transfer ($12/person) which was billed to our room. The room was very spacious with lots of electrical and USB plugs available. The bathroom was large enough for two people to easily use it at the same time with plentiful counter space and hot water. The window had 3 shades on it which completely blocked out any light. We enjoyed the included breakfast since it had a large variety of options (eggs, sausage, waffles, oatmeal, etc.). The only negatives were that the bed (room 223) on the clock side was worn out and sagged somewhat, and the toilet seat seemed cheap as it shifted when sat upon.

We stay at the hotel for a total amount of 7nights here are my impressions: Clean Lobby, Warm Welcome from Antonella and Valentina at the front desk ( I forgot the name of the other guest representative her name starts with the letter N ) excellent FD Agents. The lobby is invited to seat very comfy and enjoy the tv and work peacefully. About the breakfast, the personnal always atentive and ready to help, extremly clean and organize. The rooms have the perfect size and amenities. Housekeeping beyond!!! Please appreciate the hard work of these people since most of the hospitality industry is short of staff and here they put all the efforts that keeping the rooms clean and fresh for the guest. Wendy (HSKP SUP) 5 Stars to all your team.

I booked this as a gift for my son and his new wife for their honeymoon during the time when everyone was struggling and shut down from covid so the price was low but I chose to support this hotel. When my son and his wife showed up a couple of days ago they said they did not have a reservation even though they had a printed out copy of a confirmation email in hand. They proceeded to call booking.com and talk to an agent and was told they should have the reservation. After an hour my son was told they have a room but needed to pay over $300 for the night. The manager could have made this right while they had him on the phone but said he must have the reservation sent to them and that the confirmation email and speaking to the booking.com person was not enough. I understand that mistakes happen but my son and his wife ended up sleeping on the floor at the airport. Not everyone has the means to just charge a $300 room thus the reason I gifted it to him. The manager had the power to make this right but made the choice not to. Please do not support this hotel. I wish I would have supported a different hotel when they were struggling.

This was not one of the most pleasurable trips that I have had. I had my reservation booked to arrive on May 10th and depart on May 14th. My reservation totaled $158.20. When I arrived at the hotel they added additional fees on to my card which was $30 additional dollars per night. I didn't see any notice of hidden fees before arrival to this hotel. I had digitally checked in with the funds available on my card before arrival to the hotel. I was digitally checked in but noticed that when I arrived I was not able to access digital key. At this time is when I found about about the hidden fees. You would think that as all other Diamond members that I would be able to by pass the desk. But that was not the case. I am also an Assistant Manager at the Hampton Inn and Suites in Winston Salem, NC. Never felt so embarrassed in my life. Not to mention that my wallet was stollen/lost at the airport. I have received my wallet with everything intact. That was a plus. This should had been an experience of a lifetime since we were there for my daughters graduation. That wasn't the case. The representatives that evening were not willing to work with me at all. Therefore, with me being over 700 miles away from home I had to book my first night using points that I did not want to use and worry about the next day when it came. Though I am a team member in Diamond status, I did not feel as though I was treated as one. Relatives here are asking how was everything and I honestly can't tell them anything positive at least about my stay with this Hampton. I do want to say thanks to Ms. Valentina the manager who assisted me the following day. I would not have a problem recommending my relatives to visit with you all but seeing the lack of empathy that this Hilton property showed me. I don't think I would. It has taken a while to for me to calculate words without being so offensive. But, I think you all would benefit more by reviewing your team travel plan. As well as the benefits for Gold and diamond members regardless of team travel.

The rooms are small but clean and well maintained, everything is first class. My only two issues checking in were discovering the $75 pet fee ( I was told it was $50 prior after calling the toll free reservation line) and the tv that wasn’t working. They did offer to move me to another room; I stayed and they fixed it the next morning.

Beds and showers are very nice. The tv was very nice once it got working and the internet worked almost all of the time.

The area is bland, it’s right outside the airport. I came to see two Marlins games and it’s a good location to drive to the park or Little Havana.

I thought the breakfast was excellent, it’s a couple steps up from continental with eggs, bacon, sausage, waffle, and oatmeal options as well.

The fitness center was clean and maintained with dumbbells up to 25 lbs.

There’s a $10 parking fee, which is quite reasonable for the area.

I’d stay here again; keep in mind it’s pricey but if you want to be comfortable, it’s a good deal.

We were stuck scrambling for a hotel room due to a Spirit canceled flight. We had friends already booked at this hotel, so we walked in off the street to check availability. Fortunately, this hotel did have rooms available, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. As we waited for a clean room, many weary travelers came in asking about rooms. It took a few hours to get rooms cleaned but since this was unexpected, everyone was very understanding. The room itself was big and clean but there is nothing within walking distance. Friends went to the pool and recommended we stay out. The free breakfast offered in the morning was one of the best I’ve had at a Hampton. I would stay here again if an airline leaves me stranded because the staff did their best. However, the location is only good for a quick overnight stay.

Get your luggage first, then exit to the shuttle area for all hotel pickups. Then call the hotel and be on the lookout for the van, as their are numerous other hotel vans coming and going. You got to flag the correct van down.
