We loved our 2 bedroom first floor unit. It was equipped with all kitchen gadgets, rooms were a nice size, We enjoyed the resort’s manageable size and comfortable feeling. It was close to Disney Resorts and many restaurants. Would definitely return again.

We spent a week here immediately after Thanksgiving. This location is immaculate and the staff is friendly and very accommodating. Our unit was a 2 bedroom flat on the second floor in building 10. We were close to 3 spas, 2 pools, the tennis courts, and had parking in front of our unit. Free laundry was located immediately outside my front door - about 3 feet - and the only unit I would have had to share with was the neighboring unit. Our unit was spotless and perfectly set up for our use. The location of this resort is minutes from Disney, local shopping, restaurants, etc. Perfect location and even better team of staff - I cannot say that enough.

When we first checked in we noticed the lobby was gorgeous and was a woman wiping down everything in the lobby and washing the floors. After we got our key we brought our stuff in before unpacking we took some Clorox wipes and wipe all surfaces everywhere! Much to our surprise the Clorox wipes were still white that’s how clean the place was. The place was very roomy and we did not feel crowded at all. We stayed in a two bedroom suite with handicap accessibility. Our unit was right across from the pool and hot tub although we didn’t get to use it during a trip. I would highly recommend this place especially for families who are visiting Disney. The price is great… I hope these prices stay the same in the near future. I plan on booking my next day for October.

The resort on the outside looks good. Pools, spas and grounds are maintained. Between the buildings the grounds could be kept up better. This is an older resort with outdated furniture, appliances and old carpeting. We didn’t realize till reading the pamphlet in the room, a 7 night stay does not include housekeeping even one time.. mid week. You can request it and pay extra. We paid a $12.50 per day resort fee for basically nothing in return? You have to remove your garbage to the dumpster and call for towel exchanges, garbage bags, dish soap (anything they supply in the room upon check in). Service goes a long way for a good stay. They sent me an email for a midweek eval. That is when I complained about everything. We were happily surprised they were very attentive to our complaints and we got housekeeping services and maintenance services the next day. We were not charged the extra fee for housekeeping. The service here is A+. The location is Excellent also for going to a lot of attractions Orlando is famous for. This was our first trip to Florida. We would not come back here.

Hi there, due to being a vacation ownership property, we do not offer daily maid service until the 12th day. However, we are very happy to hear we were able to remedy your concerns and provide you with an enjoyable stay. Our Resort Fee does not cover housekeeping but it covers Wi-Fi, pool and hot tub, fitness center, basketball court, pool table, shuffleboard, mini-golf, business center computer/internet and boarding pass printing. We stayed in a two bedroom unit with my husband and three adult kids. Here are two single beds in one bedroom and a king sized in the other. One of my grown kids slept on the couch in the living room. He units are nice and clean. We had a tennis court in our backyard. We were on the second floor and there is no elevator. Luckily we had two strong men for all our luggage. We really enjoyed the vibe of this resort. It’s cozy. The security guard at the gate was so friendly. The front desk is helpful. Walmart is down the street. There’s a small gym inside the main building. There are multiple pools but we didn’t use them. We went to theme parks on 4 days of our 7 day stay. I enjoyed it he big bathtub in the large bathroom every evening. The washer and drier are shared between two units and accessible by keycard. I’d love to go back and not do theme parks but just spend time on the resort. We will be back

Polynesian Isles is an excellent choice for Disney vacations, if you choose not to stay on a Disney property. We stayed 4 nights at this property, and 3 nights at a Disney resort. The entire staff here work very hard, it shows in the incredible condition of the property. You will notice grounds staff, maintenance and housekeeping always working hard to maintain the property. Grounds are stunning with mature palm trees, trimmed and mowed grass and plants. Hot tubs are private, surrounded by trees and very relaxing. Staff has tremendous pride in this beautiful property. The rooms are super clean, very large and have everything you need. Showers are nice, one of the units we stayed in had dual shower heads. 😁
Some units include a washer/dryer, others share one outside with next door connecting neighbor. Front desk staff are very nice, helpful and accommodating. Don’t be scared if the concierge introduces himself. He was very friendly and never pushed a time share on us. Extra charge for resort fee, on top of pre paid room charge was only around $16.00. Room price was not much more than a hotel, but like a large condo with full kitchen was a plus. Resort has friendly paid security guards on-site, upon entering the property to keep the guests safe.

Spent a week here and it was just OK. Our 2-bedroom was very clean and in good condition. Grounds are well kept and there is plenty of parking. Clothes washer and dryer are in common area between rooms. There are no extras here, no bar, no cafe, no activities, no movies, no transportation. There is a little store in the clubhouse, but it has very little in it. Pretty much just a room to sleep in and a couple of pools. No businesses within walking distance, however the property is located right between two areas with plenty of places to eat/shop as long as you have a car. Easy route to the Disney parks as well. Check in takes a long time, the guard shack at the front is not regularly manned, and we did not see any directions where to go for check in. Concierge service was limited to a few cheesy brochures and a sales pitch offer (we declined). Neighbors were noisy but quieted down at 10 PM. The view from our room was very poor. With so few people staying here, it seems the staff could have offered a nicer room with others a little farther away for quiet. If you want a good place to just sleep at night after being in the parks all day (and you have a car), this is a good choice.

This is my 2nd visit to this resort. Diamond Resorts have spent a lot of money bringing to resort up to a high standard. Apartments are really nice, very clean with lovely staff throughout. Pools are both nice and well maintained. This is a "quieter" resort than many but for us that's a good thing. Even on vacation you need peace sometimes. I would thoroughly recommend this resort. One piece of advise, if you don't want a timeshare sales presentation, then politely say NO, don't let this ruin your vacation, its not for everyone!!

The Polynesian Isles is not a brand new over the top resort. What it is, is a wonderful place to relax with a staff that is over the top. EVERY STAFF MEMBER from the front desk to the cleaning crews were friendly, helpful, and always had a smile. The pool was crystal clear and the bathrooms near the pool were spotless. Is it brand new, no but it was very comfortable and every appliance worked well and the staff was fantastic. My kids were staying at the Wilderness Resort on Disney with a room that cost 600 bucks a night. I would much prefer staying at the Polynesian Isles and do the 15 minute drive to Disney save the $$ and have a larger room and a staff that is next to none.

The 2 bedroom units have plentiful space and are updated. The resort is beautiful and well manicured. The staff is willing to help at all levels. While taking out my garbage, a staff person said he would take care of it. We asked a staff member to take a family picture and was patient and willing to help us. We played bingo and was greeted with a cheerful staff member who made it fun! It is very close to Disney World. You will have a serene vacation if you choose this wonderful resort.
