If you need just somewhere to stay for one evening, this hotel is an OK option for the price. The staff working on January 1 was not very friendly. We were in town for my grandfather’s funeral, some of my family members arrived around 2 PM & they called the hotel to ask for early check in. (some family wanted to freshen up before my grandfather’s wake which was at 3:30. ) They were told absolutely not, check in is at 4 PM and not a moment sooner. I arrived in Kissimmee at around 3:20. I took a chance and went to the hotel to check in. They allowed me to check in. I thought the process would be quick since there were only three parties ahead of me. However I got in line at 3:24, I received my key at 3:55. When we walked into the room, the lights did not work because they were unplugged. Not sure why. We then tried to open the ancient blinds that they had, however the blinds came off the track and we were unable to get the shade to move by using the chain. We had to do it by hand. There were ants crawling out of the coffee maker. The shower curtain was too short so anytime someone took a shower, if water hit the curtain it would drip off of the shower curtain onto the ramp style structure attach the shower and the water will just roll onto the bathroom floor. Needless to say after four people taking a shower, the entire bathroom was soaking wet. On the day we checked out, since the phones did not work, which they did not tell us at check in that the phones didn’t work. I went to the reception area to request an iron since there was none in my room. I got to the reception at 8:30 in the morning and asked the woman at the front desk for an iron. She said she would call housekeeping to have them bring it. At 10:30 AM when I checked out I told her don’t worry about sending the iron that I never received. Her reply was “oh, I left them a note“ Not sure why she didn’t use the walkie-talkie that was sitting right next to her. The air conditioner didn’t get very cool. Even on 70 we could only sleep under a sheet, no blanket was needed. Overall, the staff seemed a little inexperienced and not really concerned with customer satisfaction. I guess at this price point I shouldn’t expect much more than I got.

I rarely give bad reviews of anything, but my stay at Park Royal Orlando was horrible. I was scared the entire time I was there, especially at night. There is a convenience store abutting the parking lot, and traffic cuts through the "resort" lot to get to it. My room was noisy and the only way I got any sleep was to leave the A/C fan runnig on "constant" all night. It is located in a seedy neighborhood and badly needs highly visible security on duty 24/7. The lat night I was there, ther was a homeless man sitting on the curb by the street in front of my building, approximately 20 yards from my door. I couldn't get out of there quick enough the morning I left.
Regarding the rooms,, they were clean and at leat the locks on the doors appeared secure. ThIs is obviously an old strip motel which Royal Holiday is attempting to pass off as a "resort".

roaches were throughout the hotel, I had to move rooms, then when I got to the other room it was dead roaches. I have pictures to prove it. at least spray or clean up the roaches or something it is a nice hotel it just needs more improvement.

We stayed at your Hotel for 11 days and really enjoyed it. Classy and a good value with a location that worked well for us. Your employees(especially Ashley and all of the Maintenance people always responded well to our needs. Thie ice machines need to be fixed ,however, and a little more light is need in the room by the TV and desk area.

The room was clean but we were not given a kitchenette as was advertised. Location is not really near anything tourist oriented. It's in an area of town that was quiet but leaves a bit to be desired and there are other hotels much closer to tourist areas. The staff were friendly but they have very strict policies I have not encountered at other hotels regarding cleanliness and their property. It made me afraid the entire time that I was going to get charged $20 for a crumb on the floor or something. Assuming they must have had major trouble with guests in the past. Had to wait 20 minutes for room to be inspected at check out for my deposit which was higher than even high end hotels I've stayed at. We did get our deposit back because we're not that kind of guest that causes trouble but felt like we were being treated like criminals. If you can't book something else this is fine but wouldn't be my first choice.

Every single staff member we came in contact with was extremly friendly and helpful From the front desk for check in and check out to the cleaning staff. The rooms were very clean, the pool and playground was awesome the kids loved it. The bed were comfortable and the price alone was so affordable! This was a great stay and we look forward to booking again!!!!

Just had business in Kissimmee and needed several rooms for my workers.
Check in was safe and front desk was friendly, but I was charged $150 per room!!!
This wasn’t $150 per room lol, pure insanity. I asked why not $150 for the 2, but no she said each which meant $300 for a motel in the ghetto area of Kissimmee!!!! I go to Vegas all the time and not even mega resorts charge that.
I need two more rooms but this is insane so I sent my workers down to another hotel that charged me $50 deposit on both. Due to this, I will never use this for my weekly needs. There is nothing in the room worth the deposit.
Rooms are remodeled and fine for a basic motel.

The location overall was good. About 20-25 minutes to Disney parks, shopping and restaurants all around. They did have a pool, but no jacuzzi.
There is an elevator, and they did have ice machines and a laundromat onsite.
The place was very clean, but outdated. The room we had was two queen beds, a very small vanity area and a closed off door for the tub and toilet. If you’re shy about getting dressed in front of other people you’re staying with, you’ll end up getting changed in the tub/toilet area, which is hot and sticky after a shower.
There was silverware and dishes, the sponge was new, but the dish soap was a cheap version and seemed a little watered down.
Since we spent most of our day at the parks and at Disney Sptings, we literally just slept here and spent no extra time.
There were no additional blankets, the closet was VERY small, and there’s no room to open your suitcase. For two people, we managed, but you’d be VERY cramped with four people in one room. Our room was considered a “studio”

booked the delux double for my family for 2 nights. pictures looked bright and inviting, clean and welcoming. Upon arrival, the same feel was in the lobby. The receptionist was very nice and helpful, but then we got to our room. It left a lot to be desired. The floors had a layer of dust/grit you could feel as you walked the tile floors (all tile), there was viable dirt/smudges on almost every wall, baseboard as if they couldn’t be bothered to clean (there’s no way there doing disinfecting/deep cleaning like they say they are). When I say didn’t clean, I mean a baby wipe could have fixed it and it wasn’t done. The mattresses are incredibly uncomfortable with springs poking and there was a real lack of pillows and blankets (2/bed). Our room was spacious, with a working fridge and lamp. Our toilet wasn’t able to flush anything (anything!) down. Maintenance was quick to fix it, however when it immediately happened again they said don’t put toilet paper in the toilet. I just can’t accept paying for a room without a working toilet. The biggest complaint I have is our door was extremely hard to lock and even harder to unlock. Huge safety concern. That’s when we decided to pull the plug. The pool grounds looked nice, as I think they probably focused on making those nice versus the rooms. The location was my main pull since we were going to the silver Spurs arena but in hind sight I’d rather a longer drive than stay here again. I will not be back, I will not recommend this hotel, and honestly I am still waiting on a phone call for a refund after we left early and paid double on a new hotel.

Staff and housekeeping were very loud and the location was loud with a lot of night noise and activity. Room was clean and somewhere to sleep. Easy check in process. Breakfast cost additional and the week we were there breakfast consisted of "sack lunches" all items that could be taken or heated up later. Disappointing.
