My husband and I stayed overnight before cruise departure. The property is nice with spacious rustic rooms and small kitchenette. Beds are comfortable. Property is located right on the Boardwalk walking distance from shops and restaurants. But most of all I would like to praise their treatment of customers. Phil was very nice, kind and extremely helpful. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

Great location, within a couple of blocks walking distance to the beach. It was great to have beach chairs and towels handy for use. Nice fridge and utensils available if needed. The bathroom area left some to be desired...tiny and not the cleanest. We stayed during COVID restrictions, so no one was there to check us in or out, which was a little awkward. We did get a text message with confirmation, but we were a little uneasy. Worked out fine!

It's a cute little inn at the north end of the boardwalk. It has a great little garden area to hang out. The owner is incredibly friendly. Offers you beach chairs, towels and beer. Clean rooms with kitchenettes. Great stay!

We stayed at the Ocean Inn in Hollywood for one night on our way to the cruise port. We wanted a hotel close to the Hollywood Broadwalk. The hotel was rated very well and it was fairly inexpensive so we gave it a try.
I don't recommend staying here. The hotel is definitely showing signs of neglect. The sheets had cigarette burn holes in them, the towels were stained, the lampshade was held together by tape. The trash hadn't been changed from the previous guests and there were used condoms in it. The bed was so soft, but not in a good way. We rolled into the center and had a really hard time getting out of bed! Parking was an additional fee (that was not noted on Expedia which is where we booked through). There was also unknown "stuff" dripping down one of the walls... Ick
The only positives were that it was very close to the Broadwalk and was in a safe area. The shower had fabulous water pressure and temperature. There was also a nice outside sitting area for guests. They also provided plates, cups, a wine key for opening wine bottles, mini fridge, and microwave which I thought were nice touches.
Overall, I don't recommend staying here. I'm not sure why it was rated so well!

The room was filthy with peeling paint on the walls, dirty floor and no carpet. The location was good but that is all it has to offer. The second floor had people up all night talking loudly and woke up to broken beer bottles with shards of sharp glass that was not cleaned up.

I’d suggest finding another boutique hotel as there are plenty. This one’s in bad shape for many, many reasons—EX: poor reservation system, quite unclean, simply unsanitary, unsafe electrical. It is, however, close to a beautiful beach.

Surpringly cute place. Loved the little courtyard. Loved the closeness of the beach. Full kitchen. Very clean. Friendly staff, easy check in. Quiet building. Pretty good parking. Will definitely stay here again the next time we go to Hollywood.

This Hotel charged my credit Card 606 dollars before even getting to the property through booking.com and now they refuse to pay me back. I tried calling and so did booking.com but they do not care about people. What kind of hotel would do that kind of bad business. They maxed out my card and I couldn't pay for my flight. they told me I should have read the policy and its on me. Very bad customer service and fraudulent.

Ocean Inn is famous for it's outstanding product and service. When you called our Front desk they explained about the policies that we have on Booking.com and told you that they need to check the situation with the manager in order to issue the refund. When the issue was reported to me We decided to make an exception and refunded you the money back right after it was reported. I am glad that you brought this point up for our future Guests! I am amazed that there are so many good reviews of this place; I must have gotten lost. The place I stayed in was old and worn out. The lights did not work, the coffee pot was broken and there was no coffee in the room anyway. The "breakfast" was a complete joke, a couple of crappy cereals; I did not eat anything. To top it off, the price was extremely high for the quality of the room. If you want a 1950's motel, with little upgrading, poor food and high prices, this is the place for you. Come on now people, don't settle for junky hotels just because they are "quirky"!!!!

If location is all you need this is a good place. A block away from all the action of Hollywood beach board walk. We stayed in room #22 the first night. The air conditioner only worked on high speed, which was a loud obnoxious noise so we slept very little. We got in late the second night to find termites crawling all over the sheets of the futon bed, luggage and surrounding area. Housekeeping came in and explained that they have had trouble with this before and apologized. We switched rooms and they provided a glass of wine and a couple of candy bars for the inconvenience. We checked out the next morning. On check-out there was no apology given for the situation we had to deal with. In fact, after 2 conference calls with Travelocity, Ocean Inn and myself, they even refused to refund us for the third night we did not stay for. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Dear Slickdogoregon Thank you for your review regarding your recent stay at the Ocean Inn. One more time, my apology for any inconvenience you may have experienced during your vacation time. Termites are common problem in Florida and we had a room exterminated the next day. When I received your call during the night about the bugs in your room I woke up and went to your room to resolve this issue. I explained you that unfortunately termites are common issues here in Hollywood. I found another room for you, made sure that you got everything you need, asked if you need any help with your luggage and prepared 2 glasses of wine for you and your wife and 2 bars of chocolate for your children. The next morning you said to our Front Desk Manager that you want to leave earlier because you want to go to the keys and did not say anything about the termites and air conditioner. The only thing you asked for was a refund. According to the Ocean Inn policies, which you signed during the check-in "There is no refunds for early departure". I know that you did you reservation through Travelocity, where it also stated that "No refunds will be given for no-shows or cancellations made after your scheduled check-in date".
