The Radisson Resort at the Port garners mixed reactions, with its location near the Kennedy Space Center and cruise port being a highlight for guests seeking convenience. While the pool area with its energetic DJ sessions adds a resort-like ambiance, opinions on the hotel's value are less favorable, with some guests feeling amenities are not worth the cost.
Service experiences vary widely, ranging from commendable to disappointing due to disorganization. Rooms often face criticism for being outdated and sometimes unclean, despite the overall cleanliness of the property.

Jabba and his golf cart shuttle service was God sent! Our family had a ton of bags for a Christmas cruise. Couple that with kids and grandkids and it can get crazy! Parking can be a challenge at ports, but Jabba and his team knocked it out of the park. Fantastic service!!!

We recently stayed at the the Radisson at Port Canaveral. Everyone who provided a service from welcome/reservations(Kevin), the waitresses, and shuttle coordinator were friendly, efficient, and were able to answer all our questions. The room was quiet, clean, the mattress soft, but the bathroom was very small and needed grouting around the tub. The waitress went out of her way to accommodate my allergies. The grouper was delicious. The breakfast buffet was not only reasonably priced but was highlighted by great omelet area and a very friendly cook. The coordinator of transportation to the port was super efficient and the $6 per person fee was fair. It is best to sign up for this when you arrive to be assured of the time slot you want. We did not have a car but others left their cars while on the cruise for a fee and then took the shuttle back to get their cars. If you prefer bottled water for your room, purchase it from the waitress. All in all we would return here for another lovely overnight stay.

We had actually stopped by this hotel earlier in the week because we are celebrating our daughter‘s 12th birthday. And we wanted to see how the hotel and pool looked. We met PJ at the tiki bar and he really said it’s a great place to hang out with your family it’s laid-back. We went home saw that the rocket launch was scrubbed and we booked the hotel immediately and we got in. So we are super excited.
We checked in on a Friday night. The front office staff was friendly the entire weekend whatever we needed whatever questions we had they were just incredibly friendly professional and attentive to our needs.
PJ and his crew at the tiki bar and food service were working their butts off all weekend long! And they never once deterred from their friendliness and their customer service and they were spot on all weekend.
The exterior of the hotel looks a little dated with the pink and green from the 80s the whole flamingo look. However the rooms look like they had a renovation maybe a couple years ago. They look great we were very happy with our room temperature was perfect rooms were clean we have no complaints about it and the beds were very comfortable.
The pool was great. It was clean kids were having fun and adults were having fun.
The only criticism I would give is I need more coffee I need more coffee whether it’s in the room with more creamer and sugar or a service in the morning offering coffee at the hotel. McDonald’s we’re still not allowing people into the dining room we would have to drive across the street to go pick up a coffee. But we walked down the street to racetrack and picked up some coffee there. Perhaps on busy weekends offer a coffee cafe in the tiki area.
This was really the first weekend where they were very full from the whole coronavirus pandemic. And they dealt with it well. We really enjoyed our time at the hotel and are looking forward to booking another stay there soon.

My wife booked this Radisson for a night stay prior to a Disney cruise. The room that we stayed in was dated but not overly worn. The room could have used a little better cleaning. The bathroom was extremely small especially since we have teenage kids. I'm not a big bright pink (outside paint) and yellow (room paint) person but I guess it is meant to be tropical. The bartender inside the lobby was very nice and attentive. Restaurants are within walking distance. No lobby coffee or breakfast.
Here is my main issue. At check-in we booked transport from the hotel to the cruise ship. The person at the front desk assured us that we could catch the transport at the time we booked (11:30 am). The next morning we went to the lobby and there were hoards of people waiting for the transport. The person coordinating the transport in the front of the hotel told us that he could get us on a transport at 11:30 am but he'd get us to the ship before it left. Why does the hotel assure you a time for transport but then it is not honored?? We cancelled the transport and took an Uber.
I would think with all of the new hotels and additional construction that Radisson would look for ways to attract and retain customers but it doesn't seem to be happening here.

Okay, even though we prefer to leave on our cruises out of Fort Lauderdale, I will say it is been very trying to find a really nice hotel resort in the Cape Canaveral Port Canaveral area. I did some research and pulled up the Radisson at the port and this was by far the nicest place we've ever stayed when coming to Port Canaveral. They had a great special dinner for the weekend on Friday Saturday and Sunday nights. The service was good. The room was clean. The beds were very comfortable. They transported us from the airport to the hotel at a minimum charge and then for another very minimum charge they transferred us to the cruise ship the day of the cruise.

Stayed here for a couple nights after New Years. We had 3 adults and 2 kids. Check in was quick. Upgraded to a suite with a soaking tub. Clean room. Room was newer however we had the lumpiest, most uncomfortable loveseat I have ever seen in a hotel room. It was like someone took all the stuffing out, mixed it in a blender, and put it back in. Even the kids said it was terrible. Room was by the ice vending so that was obviously loud. (#222). Our room keys stopped working because they only had us for one night instead of two. Our toilet had an issue but maintenance arrived in 5 mins and fixed it ASAP. He was super friendly. We also had a rollaway bed delivered super quick.
Kids used the pool area which was nicely heated although the area around it was a bit dirty.
To pay for parking was a ripoff. The area was not busy.
The staff was super friendly. I’m not sure we would stay here again though. YMMV.

We booked this stay prior to going on a cruise. The only positive part of our stay was the outdoor pool and the staff at the Tikki Bar. Our room's air conditioner was extremely loud. The room's furniture was very worn and outdated. The bathroom is very small with the shower curtain bar starting to mold. There was no complimentary coffee or breakfast when the other 2 competing hotels (Residence Inn & Homewood Suites) have it. Plus we faced the parking lot where there is a lot of construction starting early in the morning. We were there on Christmas and the service in the restaurant was very bad. Not a lot of customers but the kitchen was very slow.

We stayed here the night before a cruise as it’s very close to the port. The location has to be one of the only thing this hotel has going for it. The check in staff were friendly too, and the shower was hot.
Our room was very dated, the refrigerator was making the loudest noises as if it was about to die, the mess behind the tv cabinet and fridge was disgusting!
Half the lamps didn’t work, there was hair all over the sink and shower. The complimentary shower products had all been opened - the seals were all broken!
We had to laugh it was just so tragic. Even the clock was set to the wrong time.
If you’re thinking of booking here, just spend the extra 50 bucks and stay at a nicer hotel. I have no idea how it’s rated 4 stars.

Checked in at 8pm. Went to room to find horrible odor of vommit I assume from previous guest. Told desk and they sprayed something to mask it until morning when some major cleaning could be done. Woke up at 2am having allergic reaction to the spray. Went to desk and they moved me to another room. Ordered two drinks from hotel bar one night and paid with amex card (charge is on statement) , same bill was also applied to my room when I checked out.

I had no choice but to book the Radisson when all other hotels were booked. Unfortunately this was a last minute decision, and should I have known the issues we would run into, I think I would have chosen to forego our stay and just gone home. The front lady manning the front desk was the best thing this hotel had to offer. If it wasn’t for her kindness, I definitely would have left. When we walked into our room, we immediately noticed that the bed was half made with what we believe to be the same sheets from the previous guest. Evidence is in the fact that the sheets were dirty and the sheet wasn’t even covering the mattress. When we called to get new sheets, we were only given towels, as we had also noticed that there was only one towel in the bathroom. I’m not sure if our room was overlooked during that day’s cleaning, but it was obvious that a thorough job wasn’t done. The second time I attempted to call get new sheets I noticed the phone’s buttons for housekeeping, room service, etc, didn’t work. I had to dial 0 to get to the front desk. I was on hold for roughly 10 minutes. When I finally spoke to the lady at the front desk she mentioned she would put in another request. Again, she was the best part of the hotel. After waiting for approx 20 minutes, I chose to go to the front desk to put my complaint in person. After a little back and forth with the front desk lady and the housekeeping lady, I was told to go back to my room and expect new sheets. After approx 10 minutes, there was a knock on my day. I received my new sheets, but had to make the beds myself. All in all, I’m still at the hotel while I write this review. Hopefully nothing else goes wrong. Thankfully it’s only for 1 night. I think I’ll continue to stick with my Marriott’s or Air BnB from now on.
