This is an older hotel, but I was so impressed with the room remodel. My husband and I had a room with two queens. The solid oak mission style furniture held all of our clothes. Six large deep drawers, and 3 shallow ones enabled us to unpack the suitcases and store them underneath the hanging clothes rack, with still plenty of room to hang our coats. The bathroom remodel was also well done, with granite countertops and a tiled shower, it felt like I was in a more upscale hotel. Two sections of hooks along the back wall and a rack for hanging skis accommodated everything, helmets, ski pants, extra coats, and of course skis. The easy walk to the slopes was just a block away, and the pool and hot tub were right outside our door.

I left my Yeti cup at the pool one night and didn’t remember till the next day. I could see it was no longer at the pool and I thought for sure it was gone for good. I called the front desk and explained the situation. By that afternoon Dave called me and said my cup was found and returned to my room. That’s the best part!

The outside entrance to our room was actually quite convenient, easy access to the pool and the few stairs to Daly Lane and Snowmass Village Transit. A few more stairs and you were at Snowmass Mall. It was a great location at a good price!

This is not a fancy hotel, but our room was very comfortable. The hotel seemed reasonably well kept - not sparkling, but ski resort comfortable. There is no comfy lobby to hang out. Our room was a decent size. Our bathroom was a bit small, but very clean. Bed was comfy and the TV had MANY stations. Due to COVID, breakfast was not served. The location is excellent - just across the street is a large parking lot, as well as an elevator ride up to the Snowmass Village ‘mall’

This lodge is very clean and very well run. The continental breakfast is much more extensive than we thought it would be with waffles and coffee cake. The pool is a lovely temperature but with limited hours. My only complaint. The workers here are sooo nice and helpful. The location is also outstanding. The place is not fancy but very well run and managed. We enjoyed our stay due to outstanding workers.

Good location and friendly staff. But if you want family here forget about it. Trashy party’s every night in the hot tub. Local workers trash the hot tub and pool area because it’s free and shared by the surrounding “accommodations”. Pay over $250 a night and share with “freebie” workers is such waste of money. I will never come here again and will never recommend it again. I used to, in the old days but will not ever again.

My work training was cancelled due to the Corona virus. This hotel was able to give me some $$ back, even though my reservation said absolutely no cancelling or changing. I am pleasantly surprised they did this for me. They also said they’ll give me a discount if the training is rescheduled and I come back. I will be back! This is how customer service should be!

I book with them every year when I volunteer at an adaptive ski event for veterans. It was cancelled this year due to the corona virus. Pokolodi Lodge refused to refund anything citing their “30 day policy” even under these extraordinary circumstances. VERY poor business ethics in my book.

The Pokolodi Lodge is located in the perfect location at Snowmass Village. Just a few steps away from the slopes, shops and restaurants as well as the free buses that can take you all around the area. Dave and all the staff were kind and helpful. As we visited in the summer, having a pool was a great amenity. We were pleasantly surprised there were so many beautiful flowers! We would definitely stay there again.

We didn't have reservations however they we able to get us in and give us an excellent room. Dave Mercatoris, the General Manager, was very accommodating. Anything we asked for they made sure we got it. Eryl at the front desk was also extremely helpful. Great stay. I will definitely be back.

Wow. Wasn’t expecting it to be so great. Great view from room. Super nice staff. SUPER close to EVERYTHING - quick walk to breakfast, lunch, bike rentals and bike the most amazing trails ever at Snowmass. Can’t wait to go back. We didn’t even have time to enjoy pool and hot tub. Free coffee in beautiful breakfast area overlooking mountains. Highly recommend

Is it an active town in the summer is everything open like shops restaurants attractions ?What is the best resort to stay in Snowmass at least 4- 41/2 star that has very comfortable beds, and has a great mountain feel not far from attractions in the town of Aspen ? Would I have enough time to travel into crested Butte for horseback riding and then return to Snowmass the same day ? Any suggestions for must see attractions/ things to do in and around aspen area ?
