I can’t wait to come back and stay here! Perfect location, wonderful owners, cozy rooms, and plenty of charm. This was an excellent home base for me and my friend! When snow had blown in and made the roads rather sketchy, the owners offered a discount on our second night there to make sure we had a place to stay. Incredible hospitality! 10/10 would recommend!

I had never been to Ouray but had heard good things. Ouray is a hidden village on the Million Dollar Highway, and the Ouray Inn is the perfect spot to overnight. It’s a short walk from shopping and dining, tucked away from all the tourists. An old style hotel where every room offers a spectacular view of the mountains that surround it. Beautiful flower baskets abound and the covered ping pong table in the courtyard offers a competitive memory for kids. Be sure to read the storied history of this inn, and catch sunrise on the upstairs deck or the amazing alpenglow late in the day. You’ll find genuine, conscientious service by the owners and their team on site. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

We have stayed at this location the last three times in Ouray! Not many places you are greeted and checked in by the owner :) Love that this is an "older style" motel reminiscent of traveling as a child, but with nicely upgraded rooms. Wine and cheese are served every evening, and a nice breakfast is available each morning. This is the spot to stop in Ouray!

Of course we are visiting curing Covid...but there were a lot of rules...we brought pets and got a small room on the end which already had pet stains. Room was poorly configured and very small for two adults, 2 dogs, and 2 full size beds. But close to walk the dogs. Overall staff/owner seemed polite—but definitely not going out of the way.
Biggest suggestion I would make is to upgrade the quality of paper products and amenities—shampoo , etc. those little luxuries make a big difference for women—especially. And, should not ruin the margin. The location is terrific. The property is partially updated—quaint on the outside. Wouldn’t stay there again. But that’s just us.

We were greeted by the owner on check in and she was very knowledgeable, giving us information about the hotel, where to eat, and attractions to see with our dog. She also made fresh coffee for the whole inn every morning around 7am. We felt very comfortable and safe at this place as some of the other largest hotels and inns in the area seemed a bit sketchy. The place is well lit and we never had a problem finding parking. You can sit on the porch in the morning and enjoy the beautiful mountain air! I highly recommend the Ouray Inn.

The positives: location, pet friendly, room was decent size . Wine served in the evening was good. Shower water was HOT , if you have kids, warn them.

The negatives: outdated, uncomfortable bed, low quality linens, worst one ply toilet paper we used during the entire vacation in Ridgeway, Ouray, and Telluride. Breakfast was SunnyD (owner called it oj :( ), yogurt, and a bar. Don’t touch the wrong button on the TV unless you want to watch fuzz on TV. Lastly housekeeping left us some soap suds mess in the corner of our vanity area.

Absolutely love The Ouray Inn. Always love to stay here when traveling to Ouray. The family who owns the inn is lovely and knowledgeable about where to go and what to do. Breakfast is always included and homemade cookies/sweet treats are offered upon arrival. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

The Ouray Inn is a charming motel. The rooms are a bit small but perfectly comfortable. It was very clean. We arrived too late for the evening wine but still got warm cookies at check in! We were up in time to get coffee from the office (there was also a coffee maker and fridge in the room). They also provided an orange drink, yogurt, and a granola type bar for breakfast.

The owners to the inn are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are cozy, but clean and certainly met expectation. We stayed in the middle of COVID, so breakfast was understandably limited but they still did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. Sweets and wine were still offered in the evenings. We would certainly stay here again if we come back.

This was such a cute hotel! Owners were so helpful and friendly, room was very clean! They even went above and beyond to leave me a Birthday Treat and sign when we arrived!
The ONLY reason I couldn’t give it five stars is because the bed was pretty uncomfortable and could use a firm new mattress, our backs were pretty sore from not sleeping great.
Everything else here was great! We loved the location and the breakfast in the morning was refreshing with some baked goods/breakfast casserole, nicer than most hotels offer.
We would definitely stay here again if we knew the mattresses were replaced with new!:)
