Plumbing issues. Tub had black mold “lots” around the drain. Sink drained slowly. Breakfast was mediocre. But the real issue was mold around tub drain. We were unable to give our one year old a bath. Other than that, no issues. The pool reeked of chlorine, but with so many guests that was understandable.

We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood (1 block off busy street), the room was verrry updated, clean and nicely furnished. The bed was amazingly comfortable. I often do office work while traveling and the work space was perfect.
There was nobody in the lobby when I checked in (3pm) and I had to wait about 60 seconds for gal to come up front to check us in so it felt somewhat abandoned at first. However, she was helpful and friendly.
The only thing I saw that needed attention was the walls leading into the elevator were badly scuffed down low from luggage carts, need to be re-painted.

I spent a week at this hotel, mostly for work. The suite was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the front desk staff was outstanding. The hotel is located a block off two very roads, but was very quiet. Great pizza restaurant half a block away, and many other restaurant choices within a short walk. Very pleasant neighborhood for walking if you head away from the busy intersection.

Overall the hotel seemed nice enough. Room appeared to be clean and was comfortable. However, my complaint is that I had a $100 hold put on my credit (not debit) card on sign in. I guess this place must attract problem people because why else collect $100 to cover anticipated problems. I am a long time Choice Privileges member and have stayed at Comfort Inns and Suites around the country and have never ever had $100 hold put on my credit card at check in. I’m skipping this location next time.

I booked online and they double booked me. I explained the situation and would not refund me and tried to blame me. They were not even full. Very dishonest people. I called Choice Hotels and they tried to get that site to return my money but the owner must be greedy.

Received an extra $250 charge on my credit card statement. No explanation or notice. Took 3 emails to get a response, said I tampered with smoke detector and smoked in the room. Provided a photo of the smoke detector covered in plastic.
The room had a musty smell but did not smell like smoke. Told them they had the wrong room or it was another guest. We were only in the room for 9 hours. My wife and I do not smoke. Filed a dispute with credit card company which was denied.
I'm leaving one star for this experience. If this never happened, would leave three stars.

I have stayed here several times before with no hitches in my travel, but this time there was a hitch. I was unable to utilize a two night stay I'd booked only 24 hours in advance. . . so they weren't holding the room for me for months, weeks or even days, yet when I couldn't come for the two night stay I was charged for both nights - no refund for even one night - even though I contacted them on the first night to report the problem. Very unaccommodating, I'm afraid. Guess I won't be staying here again.

This hotel is a bit dated. The suite sitting furniture was a bit tattered. The drapes definitely need to be replaced. They were dirty and ragged. The continental breakfast left a lot to be desired. The front desk staff were courteous. The price for this hotel is not worth the accomodations. However, the location is good. Jefferson is off of Wadsworth Blvd where there are plenty of places to shop and/or eat.

We have moved from Colorado, and we had to pick up my husband’s other vehicle. We stayed here for the evening, and it was very comfortable. They let us check in early, as we had driven through the night, the night before. It was nice to be able to relax, get some coffee, and rest. My daughter did enjoy the pool, and the whole hotel was very comfortable. Staff was very kind, our room was super clean, beds comfortable, and the breakfast in the morning was suitable. We would definitely stay here again. They also allowed pets, as we were traveling with our dog.

Absolutely awful treatment by staff especially manager; it was absolutely inexcusable. Dirty, smelly, unsafe, very lacking in amenities. Horrible, horrible communication skills and serious lack of judgment with the staff, especially the manager. Just do yourself a favor and stay as far away as you can. You will be treated much better anywhere else.
