Having little experience with Sheraton hotels, we were very happy with the updated hotel and downtown location. The hotel is a 2 minute walk to 16th Street Mall and numerous meters which helped us avoid a $40 parking garage cost (meters are free 10pm - 8am and plentiful around the hotel). The hotel has two sides separated by a walkway. The gym was larger than normal and had an ample supply of all types of equipment. The pool was large with several lounge chairs, but it didn't look like the sun actually shone on the pool due to the high rises around it. Decent shower pressure, bed was very comfortable, and overall very clean. Would absolutely stay there again!

Hotel is very large and busy. While we were there, there were some issues. Someone had pooped on the floor in the lobby. A single trash can was placed nearby to stop people from walking through it but it was there for quite a while. The hand sanitizer stations in the lobby and near the elevators were empty the entire 5 days we were there. The pool staff were friendly. The room was nicely designed and super clean. No view.

Great location, near plenty of restaurants and shopping. We stayed in the last week of December into the New Years, and lots of activity going on for the New Years. The rooms can use a little more functionality for luggage storage and closet space. With our luggage the room felt a little cramped and we booked the executive king suite. Great staff, clean hotel, it took a little time to figure out our way around the place with where our rooms were as far as taking our luggage to our room. Valet is only available 7am-11pm and luggage assistance starts at 6am just keep that in mind if thinking about using those services. But overall we enjoyed our stay.

We reserved a king room. We checked in at 5pm and was told there were no king rooms available so we were offered a full bed or we could wait for a double queen. We had a dinner reservation and wanted to change and freshen up so we took the room with the full bed. The room was an absolute closet. The door to the room looked like an entrance to housekeeping or maintenance so we initially passed it up. My husband and I barely had room to walk around each other or open 2 suitcases. This room is only for a solo traveler. The room was hot and uncomfortable. After hunting for the thermostat tucked way back on the wall behind the bed, it said 65 but was no was 65 in the room. The bathroom sink was clogged and the shower head spewed water all over. This was the last night of our vacation and I was very disappointed to spend it in this was. No offer of a credit was made for taking this much downgraded room compared to what we reserved and paid for. The front desk person did offer drink and food tickets and if we didn’t use them would apply a $50 credit. That was not enough for taking this much downgraded room.

Oh, where to begin....(1) Upon arrival, we noticed that our room did not have a safe. We called the front desk to get on and were on hold for 20 minutes at least. Then, we had to wait for maintenance, who arrived without a safe and had to return later. Moreover, maintenance didn't even bolt the safe down, so all of our valuables were nicely packed in a box for anybody to walk away with. (2) Coffee maker has short cord and can't be plugged in where it's stored, and getting it out is a pain because the cord gets jammed behind a shelving unit. (3) Room cleaning didn't refill coffee for the room or coffee cups for the room. (4) Remote for the TV didn't work. (5) TV didn't have any working channels our first night due to snow on the dish. (6) The room is poorly set up. There's no place to sit comfortably, and no desk--just a small round table and one metal chair. (7) No information about checkout in the room. (8) There was a huge (1 to 1.5 in) roach (dead) in our room, see the photo. (9) Every time you turn on the shower, the handheld sprayer soaks the entire bathroom. You have to remember to turn it the other way before turning on the water. (10) To top things off, the electronic bill provides a link to leave a review and the link brings you to a place where you cannot leave a review!!

When I was searching for a hotel in Denver for my annual birthday trip, I knew I wanted to be downtown and by a pool. When I read the reviews about Sheraton Denver, I was concerned I'd also run into elevator issues. To my pleasant surprise, I never really experienced any delays while staying on the top floor. The King Bed room was a bit small for my liking, but it was clean and sufficient for one guest. The view from my window was amazing! A huge thank you to the Front Desk for accommodating me with this room for my birthday! I was always greeted at reception with a pleasant smile and attitude; they helped remedy a TV cable issue, housekeeping request, and microwave request quickly. The hotel is located within walking distance of the 16th Street Mall and a short driving distance of many attractions and restaurants, which is super convenient. The only complaint I have is the pool area did not look like the original photos in their listing; there are no red curtains in the cabanas, and the striped design of the beach chairs seemed old and outdated. I also didn't see any towels available for guests, and there were screaming kids everywhere (probably being a bit picky since I usually stay at adult-only resorts). I also wish that there was a DJ and food and drink served by the pool on weekdays. Gym was clean and had all the equipment needed for a workout. Lobby bar/restaurant had friendly bartenders and good food and drinks. Valet helped me with placing my heavy luggage in my Lyft on my last day. Overall, superb service and comfort. I will definitely be back!

The pros: The room was spacious and clean. The location is right on the free mall bus route. The staff that we encountered were very nice. Bathroom was large, great pressure and hot water. Plenty of very nice places to eat within 1 block of the hotel.
The cons: here for a conference and our room was not ready until after 6pm. The guest laundry is a horrible app based payment with $10 min and we didn’t even hit that mark so that was a pure rip off. They don’t sell single laundry detergent but do sell dryer sheets. The pool needs a good cleaning of mold/scum. There were no ping pong balls for the 2 tables or foosballs for the 2 tables. Not the hotels fault but there is a massive homeless issue as soon as you leave the hotel.

It’s good to know ahead of time that the Sheraton hotel has a Plaza side and a Tower side and I would recommend that you get a room on the tower side so that you can have a good view of the city and the mountains. I was in room 2004 and I was pleased with the view. King bed. 
The location of the hotel is great. I was able to walk or catch the free mall bus. If you are up for the challenge I would recommend walking as much as you can to really experience all that downtown Denver and surrounding areas have to offer.

I have been here since Sunday for a Conference, and will be checking out tomorrow. My hat goes off to the staff and Management of this place. This Hotel was sold out and had more than one conference going. Our conference alone had almost 1900 people attend.
We got here early Sunday before Check in time and they had our room ready to go before 4pm. Wow, I was impressed since I did not expect to be able to get in my room early. I also got the king size bed I wanted, and a high floor. This was a great start to my week, thank you. The room was nice and I loved my view of the Capitol Bldg every morning.
The Hotel Staff works very hard especially housekeeping and I want to say thank you. I think it is easy to forget that many places are understaffed and are doing the best they can. The Hotel was overall clean and everyone was friendly and helpful. I am not complaining but if I could recommend that housekeeping maybe wipe down the walls in the room it would help with the room looking cleaner. In my room # 2027 Someone had spilled what looked like coffee next to the bed and the wall had coffee all over it by the nightstand. It only took me a minute to take a wipe and clean it off the wall. Same in the bathroom but there was some dirt on the wall by the sink and again it took only a few seconds to wipe it off. It just makes for a cleaner feel and looking room when the walls aren’t all dirty. The other thing would be be that the Wi-Fi it was very spotty and it was frustrating that it would disconnect you.
I am very happy with my stay here and would recommend and stay again without any hesitation.

Despite its very modern look, I felt like I was in Bangkok or Nairobi since the room had no microwave and no hot pot to heat water. No doubt, they want you to spend $22 for breakfast instead of heating up oatmeal in the room.
The carpet is an ugly, postmodern design which becomes more distressing each time you walk the hall. The bathroom art--the same. After the second day, you're tempted to take the ugly, cheap picture down.
