Styx is so dedicated to pleasing its fan base and the concerts are surreal. They are one of the hardest working bands and tour nonstop. Chuck was on and off stage thru out the nonstop 1.5 hour set. The entire band are such nice people, grounded and worked cohesively together. Thankfully, they booted the talented but self loathing Dennis DeYoung decades ago. I was amazed how many times other fans have attended Styx concerts. The concerts are so enjoyable it is easy to get Styxitis. The therapy is to attend more Styx concerts.

The resort has taken great measures to accommodate guests amid the covid pandemic. Masks are required in public places except the restaurants and pool. There is no daily housekeeping in the rooms. We booked two massages. Masks are required and they can only massage while guest is faced down. We were invited to enjoy the amenities, however, there were no amenities. The steam room and spa are closed. There were no snacks or magazines we've enjoyed in the past. We dined at the cafe' and steakhouse. Both were mediocre. The steak house was very expensive and the food was good but our prime rib was extremely rare and salty. Service was good. Speaking of service, we'd like to mention our pool side tender, Asil. He went above and beyond to ensure our poolside experience was grand, He was attentive and maintained excellent communication with us. Kudos Asil!

If you expect to have your room cleaned during your stay, go elsewhere! While many guest have opted out of housekeeping during COVID, and guests have been sensitive to hotel staffing issues, most high end hotels/resorts are back to daily housekeeping and/or providing at guest's request.
Not only is there NO service during the stay, you have to wait patiently in your room to receive fresh towels or extra soap. The staff will not enter to drop off items, remove trash, towels or change sheets. Pay over $400/ night for 4 nights and get no services... not for me, nor acceptable.
The casino of course is the draw, so better stay somewhere else and simply visit the casino.

Only booked the king balcony room because it had a hot tub. Well the hot water didn't get hot and the plug for the tub didn't work. We tried to take a bath at 10pm ...we only booked for the 1 night to celebrate my bday. So the main reason we booked that room was the tub and it didn't work! Figured I would just tell them when we checked out the next day. I told them and they offered $19 off...we paid $610 for the room after taxes and resort fee! I said i wanted to speak to a manager and I told her the whole situation and she offered another $25 off! So $44 off and we still paid $565 ! Complete rip off. Maybe offer a vomp room at a later date or something. They should make sure their tubs are in top working condition before they want to charge ppl $600 for 1 single night! I will never go back...and will make sure to tell as many ppl as I can about this rip off of a casino!

Check in is at 4pm, we arrived at the front desk at 7p. Our room was not ready, we had reservation at the Stake House at 9:15p. Upon on check in we put my wife’s credit card for the incidentals I explained to the front office agent that we will be taking care of the bill with another credit card at check, she said no problem. We got our room around 8:10pm with a memo stating that water will be shut down the next day between 10a-6p, we said that’s fine we’ll shower the night before. After eating at the Stake House we decided to go play at the slots. At 1:40am I called front desk to request for an extra bathmat and extra shampoo for the hot tub. 45 minutes went by until I got my request I called multiple of times the front desk to see what was taking long for my amenity to be delivered at first they told me it was delivered to room 514 when our room was 1514, the second time I called the told me they are heading to your room to deliver the amenities, I figured shouldn’t take more than 10 min since they are telling me there on the way. I waited for another 30 min outside in the hallways my bath rope. I gave the front desk a 3rd follow up call I also explained that I wanted to shower since water was being shut down. They said that front office manager was on their way. I stood outside the door once again with my stop watch to see how much longer it would take them now 15 minutes went by Amanda shows up she tells me she’s the manager so I explained my situation to her and how frustrated this was. She looked at me and said I’m sorry I asked her if there any guest recovery they could do she looked at me stood quiet for a few second and she said “like I said sir, I am sorry but I’m short staff” and walked away. On check in we filled out out breakfast menu for the following morning and placed it outside our doors. I left a note indicating to place food in living room. The next day I get a call that they cannot come in the room do to COVID procedure, that’s fine I will receive the food order. 10 minutes later I get a call that they cannot charge it to the credit card and that I would have to

Always fun when we spend Super Bowl at the Aqua Caliente Resort. The food is fabulous, the staff are amazing and the football fun never ends

Rm was not clean. First thing I do when I enter is checking bathroom first because I experienced toilet malfunction, clogged sink, etc in Agua Caliente. I found hair on the ground - not talking about 1 or 2, trash behind the door, water was not hot from sink, had to wait for hot water for in shower, too. There was red mark on the bottom of tub, seemed like scratch from nails, who knows. Rm w balcony is always nice, can have somewhat fresh air - but DO NOT GET 2nd fl w balcony, I stayed in Thanksgiving, I could not stand smell of smoking from outside, could not even open balcony at all.

We went to see family in Palm Springs and found this hotel/casino. It was very clean and the rooms were very spacious. Like any casino I feel the prices of the cocktails and food were a bit high but it was expected prior to our arrival. I think this is a good place for adults and although they don't advertise it is a smoke free casino and hotel which can be rare to find.

Guess what, another price increase for drinks at Agua!!! The second time in 2 years. Your bottle of beer, $7. Bloody Mary over $8. This place is an insult. They are losing their a$$ on the new Cathedral City location, so they raise prices across the board on Spa fees & drinks in addition to tightening the machines.
Look on their website, their "Casino Winners" page is 90% from $25-$100 minimum bet machines. Founder Richard Milanovich was a great man who knew how to run a hotel/casino and treat employees and clients with respect. Since his passing 6+years ago Agua has become a joke. New hotel/casino managers must be fired in order to return Agua to what it used to be, a fun place to take friends and family and a positive gaming experience for all betting levels.

I love this resort!!! I took a mid-week mini vacay to meet with my brother and his family as they were in Rancho Mirage on vacation from Wisconsin. My brother made reservations at the Steak House and when we went to be seated at our reservation time we realized he had made the reservation for the Palm Springs location. Not a problem, they graciously honored our reservation with just a short delay. Most enjoyable dining experience I have had in years....5 Stars all the way around. Food was excellent and we'll definitely be a repeat diner. My room was top notch. Beautiful bathroom, comfortable bed and ample towels. Enjoyed the casino as always and even came home with a additional cash. I miss some of the older machines, but actually did win on one of the newer machines, so it was worth giving them a try. My visit was short so I didn't get an opportunity to experience the pool or spa. I plan on enjoying both of those amenities on my next visit. Highly recommended!! I can't wait to go back.

Aqua Caliente Rancho Mirage is clean but smaller casino, is suitable for your parents, less walking. Customer service could be better but is different for everyone as needed. I’d recommend taking your parents to Aqua Caliente because there’s a lot to do downtown Palm Springs, Palm Dessert, etc. I hope these help.
I didn’t see any plexiglass glass at the tables just mask mandate. I would recommend giving them a call if you want to be 100% sure as I find changes to requirements every time I travel.
