We are pretty retentive about cleanliness - we brought our own alcohol wipes and scrubbed the place down - not an ounce of dust was seen. Use of masks is necessary and every guest was respectful of that.
The pool is pristine, running 91 degrees all hours of the day, with plenty of space. You may have to wait your turn for the jacuzzi, but with a smaller number of units you won’t have to wait long.
As a fairly prudish couple, we were never made uncomfortable by the clothing optional nature of the resort. It was fun, there were a wide range of bodies on display by the pool, and it felt safe and inclusive.
Add to that, the gardens are lush, the water features are regal, and the hummingbirds are aplenty. Even just saw one bird hop on top of the manager's hand as if he was Snow White herself.
For the price of this hotel you get so much, from a delicious breakfast to a catered lunch, snacks, drinks and bike rentals, all inclusive. We couldn’t find a better deal.
Staffed by some great gents who anticipated our every need, we will be sure to be back. Great for a quiet weekend away, or a lovely honeymoon. 12/10 experience
As having been in hospitality for many years, it takes a lot to impress us from a service standpoint. Kent and his team did more than impress us. The attention to details really stand out here. The cantina is open around the clock and during the day snacks, soda, water, lemonade and iced tea are constantly refilled and available for everyone. We were equally impressed watching the staff interact with the guests, and every evening the staff checked in with the poolside guests to see if there was anything we needed before wrapping up their day. Simply checking in with the guests made us feel appreciated to be there and in good hands at all times. We always felt part of a community while staying here. We will definitely be back!
Thank you, Kent, Charles and the entire team!

Shout-outs:
Meal service crews! Awesome job. Breakfast was a treat, and lunch was easy.
Concierge was enthusiastic and welcoming. We loved it.
Pool and spa were immaculate and staff kept the common areas constantly resort ready,
Are there some nits? Of course.
The hot water took a long time to get to the shower, which meant a waste of water. And, when a toilet flushed: good idea to step back a few seconds.
The “barn door” closure for the bathroom left no sounds etc to the imagination.
I’ve never written this in a review before, but: servicing the room was very early! It was GREAT service, but early. I get it: small hotel needs to turn the rooms. But still: early.
Suggestions.
I visited on an arguably cold weekend. I wish there had been some patio heaters available on the pool deck.
I loved the “all inclusive” meal service, like to get out now and then, but having a dinner option, for additional cost could be a good addition for guests.
All the guests were lovely. There were, however, a couple of locals who landed on property after staff left for the day. Not ideal.
"The upstairs rooms are larger (with higher ceilings) than the downstairs rooms (though they're probably higher-priced)."Read full review
"The poolside rooms are more convenient. But if you're a light sleeper be aware that you'll hear some noise from the room above."Read full review
