This place is ok. The room we are in is sort of clean. The carpet is stained. The sofa is stained and the furniture has multiple scratches and gouges. The bathroom door is warped. The sink by the microwave has rust around the faucets. And the air conditioner is so loud that we have to yell at one another to have a conversation One bed is super soft and the other is very comfortable. They clean your room only upon request, which they neglected to mention when we checked in. The breakfast is ok. To get any sort of protein, you have to stand in The “made to order” line which is generally a 25 minutes wait - even to just get a scoop of scrambled eggs! The yogurt today is Trix flavored - go sugar! Pastries and bread products are plentiful. They have oatmeal but no toppings. And fruit is available in a pre-packaged cup which is convenient. If you are staying here for the breakfast or comfortable beds, don’t. The evening reception is nice. They put out snacks, to include vegetables, and make drinks upon order. The staff is super nice and very hospitable. It’s not enough to make up for the uncomfortable beds and stained carpets. Haven’t stayed at a Hilton or Embassy suites in a long time…not sure I will choose one again.

Imagine getting to your room and finding no soap at all. Of course I assumed it was just overlooked so I went to front desk (phone didn’t work in room). They say they will let housekeeping know about soap. Next morning still no soap. I go to front desk again and clerk says she’ll notify housekeeping. That night still no soap. They tell me due to covid soap has been delayed. I asked them if they couldn’t just go buy local soap for room bathrooms. They said they’ve told guests where they could go buy soap for themselves!!!!! Terrible. Third day I asked if soap was in and clerk actually told me that was a Housekeeping matter and he couldn’t answer!!

Granted this hotel is old and a little tired but the outdoor area is quite nice and I thought the complementary breakfast was good as well. The rooms are large and the staff all seemed pleasant but I do not think this place is up to Hilton standards and surprised it bears their name. If you are a family looking for reasonably priced accommodation and a nice pool this place is for you. If you are a more discerning traveler who appreciates modern updated rooms and facilities you may want to look elsewhere.

Most of the reviews here are spot on. I usually check reviews before I book but I trusted the Hilton name. I should have known better, Hilton should put the ratings on their website. I called or stopped by the front desk three times because I had no bath mat or wash cloths. I finally stopped an employee at 8pm in the hallway who apologized, said they just finished cleaning rooms , were short staffed and finally brought me the towels. I also has to ask twice to get maintenance to unlock my locked safe (it was locked when I checked in) and to clean out the bathtub drain because it was slow to drain. I also found it odd that there was no alarm clock in the room nor a pad and paper to write on. Also on the safety front the entrance door did not automatically close, great for sleeping (no door slamming) very bad in a fire.

I was pretty shocked upon entering our filthy room in March. The carpet, walls, furniture and drapes were heavily stained and downright dirty, cheap and just skuzzy. I would not walk without shoes or sit on furniture without a sheet over it. I couldn’t believe Hilton and embassy suites would attach their name to this property in this condition. It was disgusting and also very outdated. My son’s freshman dorm room was ten times nicer than this. The breakfast was mayhem, running out of cups for coffee and swarming lines and unkempt food . It was all very unsanitary and I couldn’t check out early fast enough.

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel for only 1 night (thank goodness) and it was by far the worst stay I've ever had at a Hilton hotel. Honestly, a motel would have been better and I'm not kidding.

We checked in online to our room and arrived around 9pm, when we walked into our room it looked like it was 80% cleaned, old bottles left in the tub, toilet paper in the toilet and no towels to be found anywhere. When I called down to the lobby to request towels they said they would be up in 15 minutes. An hour later and still no towels I went down to the lobby and they said housekeeping was drying them and they would be ready in an hour. An hour later I called again for towels and I was told housekeeping just said they were done and were getting ready to delivery them. I stayed up until 12:30am waiting for towels that never arrived. All I wanted to do was take a shower after being in 100+ degree heat all day. I didn't even have a wash cloth to use if I wanted to wash my face.

In the morning I called at 8am asking for towels yet again and was told housekeeping would have them ready in an hour. About 45 minutes later I got a knock on my door from housekeeping and they provided me with 2 hand towels. Needless to say, my daughter and I packed up and left without ever being about to take a shower. It was probably a blessing in disguise considering how gross and unclean the tub/shower actually looked. I also never once had a staff member apologize for the inconvenience of not having the basic necessities of a hotel room provided.

I will never stay at this hotel again and I would warn anyone else who is looking at this hotel. You will probably have a better experience at the Best Western or Holiday Inn across the street.

This place is so bad…..first, You must contact maintenance if you want to adjust the temp in your room. Second, There was hair in our shower and third, stains on our towels.

We were in such a hurry during the Christmas Holiday when we checked in we had very little time to shower and get out to our party. Who has the time to call the cast of characters to come into our room to adjust the temp change the towels and clean the bathroom? The Hilton chain has gone down hill.

It's increasingly difficult to contact individual hotels in this group. A phone number is often always the only way, and you've no record of it. So, I was staying with two rooms (4 guests total) and during the stay which was booked 6 months in advance, the room rate dropped by 40%. Could I have cancelled the remainder of my 6-night stay and re-booked online whilst I was there? I would have saved $500! I didn't but this is a loophole that needs to be addressed, particularly for such a regular customer as myself. I've stayed here for 20+ years, so it's home from home. It does show the odd sign of wear but hey, doesn't everywhere? Very comfortable beds, always good breakfast and the pool is great. You will need footwear if venturing to the pool in 90F temps! Always glad to see Kenny at the bar too! Minor things - the wifi needs to be upgraded to a streamable speed. Even my guests had issues with getting on to social media. And the floors upstairs squeak if you're on the ground floor and there are people above you. Otherwise, as expected and I will see you next year.

Where to begin?

We stayed at this location a year ago, we noticed that the hotel was kind of old and needed a fixer upper.

This time looks like nothing got fixed and that the people in charge has not done anything to lift the looks and feels of it.

The tv reception was really awful, impossible to view. Rugs were in really bad shape. The bathroom light was very dark.

Since our last stay the hotel has a fountain that has a leak and always there’s a puddle. Can’t the manager just buy a can of flex seal and just spray it?

All night we spent listening to noises coming from the room uptairs, like people walking on old mattress springs.

But what really made it worst, was on Wednesday (Dec 27, 2023) at around 10 pm when my wife had to go to the restroom at the lobby because one of my daughters was on the shower. The restroom at the lobby was locked, and when my wife ask the guy at the counter to unlock it, he just said “I can’t help you”, and no matter what my wife ask again, he jus repeated “I can’t help you”. This DMV attitude is what makes people don’t come again.

It’s a shame that being Hilton brand so great, this hotel gives it a really bad reputation.

We do not open our pool to non-registered guests. We do have locks on our gates and do regular walks through the pool area. Almost all weekends the hotel is sold out and that does contribute to the number of guests at the pool on the weekend's vs the weekdays.
