Stayed here for 4 nights with my husband because he has work nearby. This hotel looks either newly built or newly renovated. It has a modern minimalist design. The room was clean and spacious. It comes with a mini ref and coffeemaker The bathroom was also spacious and love that it was a stand in shower instead of a tub and the toilet bowl is equipped with heated seat and bidet. I also like that the floors were laminated instead of carpets which is more sanitary. There were also sufficient parking in the basement. Location is also ideal as it was right beside an asian grocery and a block away from Ralphs. There are also a lot of good restaurants nearby. Service was good and room and public areas were clean. Would definitely comeback if given the chance.

We only stayed here for one night and they were able to accommodate our room request when we checked in. From what previous reviewer suggested, we had a room facing the street side. The hotel is big, there's south and a north wing. North is closer to the freeway and south side is closer to Ralph. If you want to use the swimming pool, it's on the South side of the building . We stayed at the north side and it wasn't too bad of a walk from 2nd floor. It was not busy when we went, so our kids had the pool all to themselves. There's not much shade, so it can get really hot.
I like the laminated floor, comparison to carpet. It was spacious and able to fit our luggages just fine. Our floor was quiet, so we didn't encounter any noise issues.
The location is so convenient to many Asian eateries. Self parking at the back side and you can use the hotel card key to get into your room from there. We felt very safe driving in and out of the parking lot. We would definitely return if we are traveling around this area.

Not the best Marriott I have been to, the reviews are quite generous. The staff aren't very friendly or helpful. A lot of them didn't know much about processes or how to help. The cleaners aren't great, we were left with lots of dust everywhere and very little done about it. Up keep of the rooms wasn't good either, we had to continuously ask for toiletries that should've been refreshed. However a few redeeming qualities in that the room size is good, location isn't too bad and the hotel amenities were good. Would I stay here again? Probably not.

Room was phenomenal, we had a junior suite 2 rooms. Very clean hotel in a great neighborhood. Felt very safe here, very much enjoyed our experience! Underground parking was hassle free. A little out of the way but thats what cars are for. Will definitely stay again when in LA next

Stay in Monterey Park for family visit. Checked reviews of all nearby hotels/motels, most are pretty scary. The member rate for this hotel is within 10% of all other hotels/motels with a much cleaner and safer environment, so there are no reason not to stay here. Stayed on the 5th floor, street side and it was quite all day. Staff were helpful with requests and information. Did not use their restaurant as there are just too many eateries close by. Hotel does provide paid car service to LAX but be careful in using it. Driver only told me they only accept cash when we got to airport, so had to drive to nearby hotel to get cash from ATM. Don’t use it.

Stayed in standard double queen bed room, Nice and clean has modern look and includes a bidet toilet, has vinyl plank flooring, parking under hotel, you can hear people in other rooms if they are loud but it’s not too bad. Flat screen TV has cable and you can enter your own Nexflix info. Has a large shower no bathtub, Closet, fridge and coffee maker in room. Starbucks (limited selection) down in lobby. Lots of USB chargers in room with a desk and chair. Wifi is slow but option to upgrade. Beds are have a firm pillow top mattress. Very large window to let light in room.

This hotel is such a luxury at mid range price, We totally enjoyed staying here for 3 nights. Hotel is very clean and spacious at a great walkable location. I highly recommend this hotel and would certainly return again when I am in LA.

Great hotel location was nice, check in was fast no issues. Booked the 1 bedroom suite and it was very nice super spacious and most importantly VERY clean. Parking was 12$ under ground felt safe parking my car had no issues & yes they have charging stations for cars. Deposit fee was $50 if paying with debit. I did request the highest floor & everything I requested was met the suites are HUGE I got room 206 floor 6 & it was a cornered room with a nice view huge bathroom and the toilet had its own door so that was a plus, the only thing we didn’t have was a microwave we didn’t request or ask for one but that’s about it other then that it’s a very nice hotel I recommend checking it out if you are in the area or traveling!

Wrote a review a few weeks ago but got taken down. Will post here and on all sites so people are aware. I stay here regularly for work. Decent Courtyard because it's new and renovated. Staff is nice and follow procedures and regulations.
No upgrade for any elite members. No matter day of the week, there will be "no rooms available"." Will begrudgingly give complimentary parking if no upgrade available, but will always remind you complimentary parking are not always available.
My biggest gripe with this hotel is the smell of marijuana. From when you park you car, in the underground parking lot, into the elevator, and into your room, there are always random wafts of marijuana smell. I'm pretty sure it comes from the neighborhood in the back or one of the staff members.
No matter what, be sure to request a room facing the street or higher floors, or else you will be taking in plenty of second-hand marijuana smoke. Call early to make sure it is available, otherwise they will always assign a room towards the back.
Besides that, clean hotel.

Stayed here for four night business trip. This is my second stay at this hotel. This is not your normal run of the mill Courtyard. It is almost like a full service Marriott. It is six floors, has two actual restaurants, a “we sell Starbucks” coffee counter and a boba tea counter. It is only a few years old and the rooms and common areas are still in great shape. The rooms have wooden floors which gives it an elevated feel. The main lobby has tons of seating and is expansive since it is an open atrium to the second floor. One thing to note is the rooms have an energy efficient HVAC system that turns off when the room is unoccupied. Each afternoon when I returned the room was registering between 78-80 degrees and it’s only April. If one thing could change it would be to have the A/C turn on when the room temperature hit about 76 degrees. Once it does turn on after I would enter the room it would take about an hour to cool down to 70.
