The suite was clean and well appointed for an extended stay and the WiFi worked really well (we needed to work during our 6 nights stay) and loved that it was pet friendly and so we could bring our beloved Labrador retriever with us, as there was no one we could leave her alone with during these challenging times.
There was hot breakfast every morning that we could take with us in the room/suite and physical distancing and masks to prevent COVID-19 spread were properly imposed and respected. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning was great and silent.
The hotel is located in a great location with a lot of great restaurants nearby that offered outdoor patio dining options as well as takeout.
The staff was extremely professional, helpful and accommodating. Thank you for everything!

We were not in this hotel for more than 24 hours, but we were very well taken care of. The hot breakfast was served in styrofoam boxes, so I appreciate the effort taken to still have this as a service included in the cost of stay. We stayed in a 2-bedroom queen suite, and it was small, but definitely worked for what we needed. The kitchenware is all found in the dishwasher as that is covid policy and I thought that was great. Alondra at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating. Please note, there is a tram that runs near the hotel and you can hear it in the back buildings, but I didn’t find it bothersome.

Me and two friends went down to California during New Years weekend, everything was booked and what was left was over priced. We found a room still available at the Hyatt House but we didn’t expect much.
The room was very nice and large. We almost a full kitchen, a living room separate from the bedroom and a full size closet.
It was very clean! We checked in in the late evening and the front desk was very friendly. Breakfast was good but it was busy so there was a short wait to get food.
the area is safe and the property is well kept, it’s very short drive to the beach and LA is about 20 mins. Away.

I recently stayed at the Hyatt House El Segundo on an overnight business trip. I was looking to stay somewhere comfortable and close to restaurants and shops. Being familiar with the El Segundo/Manhattan Beach area I knew the hotel was in a convenient location. I've had many stays at Hyatt House and Hyatt Place properties across the country (Irvine, Bay Area, Pittsburgh, PA, NYC), so I was confident that Hyatt House El Segundo would provide comfortable, CLEAN accommodations. Boy, was I wrong.
At check in I found out that the hotel charges a $500 deposit IN ADDITION TO room rate, taxes and fees. I found that a little exhorbitant considering there are 4 and 5 star properties that do not do that... Nor have I had that experience at any other Hyatt where I've stayed recently (Irvine, Bay Area, Pittsburg,PA..)

Driving up to the hotel and during check in I could tell it was an older property, but I was VERY disappointed with the room. It is a large older complex of what used to be apartments that Hyatt has attempted to refurbish. The outside of the building was very dirty. The interior smelled of stale cigarettes and as a previous review mentioned, was clean on the surface. I didn't check the cupboards or dishwasher, but the chair in the living area had something stuffed under the cushion (that I didn't have the courage to turn over.) The bathroom shower floor had specs of debris. Needless to say, I was very disappointed. This was the most poorly maintained Hyatt that I have ever visited. There are many other properties in the area - it's worth it to pay more. I will never stay at the Hyatt House El Segundo again.

We spent over a week in this place, the room was not clean enough, the room smelled pretty bad. the unit was not stocked well, (only one set of toiletries and 2 rolls of toilet paper for an apartment with two bedrooms two bathrooms that sleeps 8 people). When asked the hotel to provide us with more stuff and cleaning supplies and deodorant, they told us they cant give us this items because they are under staffed and did not know where to locate the items. when they finally found the items at mid night, we had to go get it from the office ourselves, mind you this is a villa style hotel so we had to constantly get out of the room and walk around the building to get the items we needed. we were handed only a couple of pieces at the time so it was an on going issue. they only have two hot breakfast options so if you are there for a week you are stuck with eating the same thing every day for breakfast. they were clearly under staffed and it showed, their employees were stressed and over worked, they were not very welcoming. I scheduled a cleaning 3 days after checking in and they never showed up, when I called the front desk, the attendant was very rude and tried to blame it on me, they sent the house keeper until the next day at 7:00 am, which I did not appreciate it. the staff was rude but I think they were just super tired. I did not see many different faces the same people cooking breakfast are cleaning rooms and the breakfast line could be long some times due to shortness of staff.
The sofa bed was very old and uncomfortable. when asked for a padding they placed the blankets under the sheets and left us with nothing to cover ourselves. which was not enough padding any way.

Unfortunately, I frankly need to say this was the most horrible hotel among all the Hyatt that I had visited.

First, when we checked in on the first date asked for additional towels and shampoo, they said their maid just "went home due to her urgent personal issue" and asked us to pick everything up at the front desk. I don't understand and am also surprised that this hotel only has one maid to handle that. Furthermore, as you can check, this hotel doesn't even have an elevator and we stayed on the highest floor which made us tired of going back and forth to the front desk after our tiring trip.

Also, when I asked to give us three sets of towels as I stayed with my wife for two days, they never remember how many towels and other amenities that I asked for and always gave me the wrong number of towels. I also want to add that this hotel doesn't provide body lotion at all which I never saw any other Hyatt doesn't provide that - I wonder if Headquarter is aware of these bad services and amenities in stock.

However, the most horrible part is not the issues all the above. It is the BUGS. I saw the big spider in the video when I tried to wash my face on the first day.

On our second day morning, my wife felt so itch on her stomach area and found out she got bites from unknown bugs. These bites were driving her crazy every day when we were traveling LA and even until now! It's even disgusting to me, I apologize but I wanted to attach the evidence. I brought my personal alcohol spray and sprayed it all over to the bed and other areas on our second date due to these issues.

I am so angry about the hygiene level of this hotel and its services. I like to stay at Hyatt and I am usually satisfied with Hyatt hotel but this branch really needs attention from management for improvement.

Each time we stay at Hyatt, we are always assured that we will always be satisfied , from the huge rooms, great breakfast and excellent customer service . There’s a pool and a coin operated laundry facilities open 24 hours which is very convenient . Restaurants were quite a walk to get to though , but always can use Uber . All in all, we were happy to have stayed here.

Hotel stay was great. Traveled with my son and sister. 2 room, 2 bathrrom suite was spacious and comfy. My son slept on the sofa sleeper and pretty much got up ONLY to get breakfast provided by the hotel.
I would suggest the hotel do a bit more sweeping of leaves/debris around the property, especially along the walkway. Other than that very minor matter - GREAT STAY!!

Let’s start with the location. The location is very far and remote plan on a 35 to 45 minute drive to anywhere whether it’s Hollywood Chinatown Disney you’re far off next I will talk about the hotel cleanliness which is they’re not clean. The places is very dingy, dirty rundown in the bedroom, they’re human fluids everywhere that my wife had to clean and do other things so we can feel a bit comfortable in this accommodation, because there were no other options left the older in the room was Pungy, and cannot be concealed by air fresheners, we had to go out and buy a disinfectant just in case the carpet was less desirable, filthy, dark dirty go in the shower and wash your feet in the water is black from just washing your feet. If this place shows up on your search, I would really think twice about staying here for the money, you would think that you’re staying out of a five star hotel, when fact Any corner motel is a better option than this place. The customer service is not that great. You make a good request for additional towels you get side eyed and question why you asking for more things there are no toiletries in this place so you have to go out to the market to buy everything that you could not bring because the limitations on flights Even a hairdryer that is something common for women in most people they couldn’t give you that had to put towels down to walk around in the two room apartment. I would really think twice if this shows up as an option for you the amount of money it’s not worth, it Think twice I do have to say that the customer service in this place they did try but unfortunately you cannot ignore how dirty this place is

The condition of the hotel was fine but the staff experience was lacking. We were not made aware at check-in that we must request room cleaning even though we left the designated request on the door. The hotel also charged us a pet cleaning fee even after we left notes on the reservation.

I alerted the front desk of the charge and was promptly asked if I filled out the hotel paperwork. I let them know I was not given any form from front desk. After this I was made to feel that somehow this was my fault.

Will be staying elsewhere on our next trip home.

Hello. There are ample parking at the hotel and I believe there is a fee of about $14 or so each day. Handicap parking , I’m not sure since we took Uber everyday . But you can let the hotel know about your condition so they can book a room on the first floor. Enjoy your stay .

I had two boxes shipped to hotel via FedEx the day before my arrival and they held them for me for no charge. If you’re having a meeting there and shipping meeting items I would check with the hotel as my stay was not associated with an on-site meeting.
