We loved this place from start to finish. It was very clean and well appointed. We had an ocean view studio that was spacious and had a balcony with great views of the grounds and the pool and beach in the distance. Everyone that worked in this hotel was friendly and helpful. The pool and grounds were beautiful and the location was great. We were totally entertained by watching the kite boarders in the afternoons. Breakfast was included and our choices were avocado toast, pancakes or oatmeal with juice and coffee. Since Aqua was closed for renovations for most of our stay, we got to have breakfast with our toes in the sand on the beach in front of Yalla's. We had great drinks at happy hour before heading down the beach for dinner. We had about a .25 mile walk down the beach to the first of many beachfront bars and had no issues walking to or from dinner where we had great food and plentiful drinks for cheap. Vagamundo, next door to the hotel had amazing waffles and there was a grocery store that was good for water, coffee, etc, just down and across the street. I only return to places that I love and I am pretty sure this visit to Millennium and Cabarete will not be my last.

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience. All of the staff works very hard to ensure that our guests have a wonderful time here. We received feedback, much the same as yours, about enjoying the breakfast on the beach, so we have added a deck so that more meals can be enjoyed there. We look forward to welcoming you back and ensuring you have another great stay here at Millennium Resort and Spa! Have great travels and we hope to see you again soon!

Millenium in Cabarete, third stay there, always welcoming upon arrival, grounds, pool, rooms are always well kept.. Food at Aqua Restaurant always great, fresh fish, chicken breast, pasta, you can't go wrong.. Breakfast options limited but very good... Sitting by the pool all day and being able to walk on the beach right there is priceless, plenty of comfortable pool beds available, you can order drinks and food from pool area.. Walk across street to supermarket if needed.. Gym is on resort.. Staff go out of their way to be sure you have all you need.. I was able to really relax whether it was at pool, on my private patio with ocean view or in the modern lobby with great couches and chairs with a drink.. I will be back as soon as possible...

Pros:
Beautiful Lobby
Nice room with kitchenette, a first for me
Beautiful pool area; strong wifi, nice large pool, temperature is just right.
Pool is adjacent to a large shoreline.
The frozen lemonades are the bomb with or without vodka!
Cons:
Weak/limited wifi connectivity in the rooms.
Only got room service one time during the whole week I was there.
Sliding door to the balcony is very heavy.
AC in room makes funny noises but not excessively loud.
The restaurant charges excessive surcharges/taxes for debit card purchases, roughly 20%. Be careful with large purchases.
Very few of the main course items were available on the menu.

We stayed at the Millennium Resort in a one bedroom suite for just under a month in December 2020. Our stay exceeded expectations! Great service from everyone from front desk, to bar staff, to security, to house keeping. It’s the perfect spot on Cabarete beach. One of us is a keen water sports enthusiast (kite surfing and wind surfing) the other just enjoys relaxing by the beach and pool. Both needs were met! The wifi drops a bit but other than that we highly recommend anyone to stay here whilst visiting Cabarete.

Thank you Millenium Resort and Spa. We hope to be back soon!

This is a modern, well-maintained property right on Cabarete beach. Rooms are spacious with kitchenettes available.

Like every resort, rates will vary based on view and size, but a really nice room can be booked for about $100 USD/night during the low season.

NOTE: there is some construction going on at the adjoining property so expect some construction noise in early 2020 -- but nothing that is disruptive to a holiday stay.

I stayed here this past week after not going for years, I must say I was terribly dissappointed. The rooms where not well cleaned, curtains stained, linen smelled damp, glassware was dirty. Wifi is very bad, there was not a single ammenity in the bathroom, no soap, no shower gel, shower cap NADA! It was raining whole weekend so we could not do much outside and saturday noon I had to complain about terrible noise of work been done right outside the rooms. Regarding food or service since the rooms have full kitchen, kitchennette or a wet bar so I brought some wines, beers, fruit, cheese and snacks. But they have a small store with drinks, water and snacks for sale. Also has a spa thought I had never tried it since for Cabarete I find prices too high. I think the rooms need deep cleaning and some TLC. Because location is good view is nice and just some extra attention to details.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We will use your comments to ensure that we improve. Some of the improvements that we have been implementing are the installation of solar panels on the hotel roof. We are very sorry that the noise bothered you. We notified guests of the work, and we were happy to stop the work when you notified us that it was a nuisance. We also have installed dispensers for shampoo and conditioners as well as body wash in the showers. We do not provide the single-use plastic toiletries because of the waste they produce, but you have made us consider stocking some items, such as shower caps, to provide to guests upon request. At this time, all of our rooms are cleaned and disinfected with a non-toxic solution which kills the COVID-19 virus (the same type that airlines use in-cabin). We will ensure that housekeeping checks more carefully to ensure that it does not leave any type of residue. We want to provide not only a relaxing and enjoyable holiday for all of our guests, but also a safe environment and peace of mind that we are doing everything possible to keep our guests healthy. We are sorry that we came up short on your expectations, but we hope to welcome you back again so that you can see the improvements for yourself and give us any further feedback which we can use to improve our guests' experiences!

+1
location: 5 min walk from all the downtown restaurants, 20min walk on the beach to kite beach, <5min from the supermarket
service: impecable at all levels
restaurant: aqua was perfect for late breakfast before kitesurfing lessons, tapas anytime, great drinks. Staff was friendly and made us feel home immediately.
view: can't beat the view of the ocean from the living room/balcony with the kites in the background
lovely pool with lounge chairs always available around (this was a busy spring break week)
room: OMG, this was a very spacious apartment with big, modern, clean bedroom, living room, kitchen, and balcony. I expected great, we got top notch!
excellent kitesurfing school (LEK) just in front of the hotel.
This is a residence hotel. One of the apartment was for sale. We were very tempted to buy it! maybe on our next trip... I have traveled all over the world and prefer visiting new places, but felt in love with Cabarete, and the Millenium was definitely an ideal place to stay. Checking how we can come back asap :)
Thank you to the entire staff.
Just one comment for the owner of 203: the mattress could be changed, this was the only aspects to be improved.

Mario and Megan took such great care of me during my 1 week stay here. The infinity pool, gym, spa, and rooms are immaculate and clean. At a reasonable price, Millenium will make you feel like a rockstar!
My favorite part was having Yalla at the poolside/ocean front. David would stay and make cocktails for his guests all evening to sit by the pool or on the beach.. that was such a treat! 10/10 recommend Yalla and Millenium for your next trip!
I’ll be back!

We spent x-mas and new year at the Millenium. Arrived there totally overworked and tired and left all charged up. The stuff was very helpful, the pool outstanding and the beach right in front of the hotel. The complementary breakfast selection was kind of limited but oh well we enjoyed the great view so much that it was all good.

I checked in on Monday 2/20/22 room321, I enjoyed the property. Great view of the ocean and kite surfing. The Bar staff is amazing friendly and will go out their way to cater to you. I toured around city to city leaving early morning daily. Mainly coming back to the property to unwind several days went well until .2/23/22 the pool attendant walks over to me and says you cannot be here. In front of a mid aged white couple, the lady even felt insulted. Whats your room number the chairs is for hotel guest only. embarrassing me in front of and white couple. As, if I was not qualified to be on property I gave him my room number he still insist the lounge chairs i could not use. Several minutes later the bartender comes down from the bar and speaks with me. I tell him my interaction with the pool attendant and how he caters too all the other guest.I feel all guest should be treated equal not because the color of your skin. The bartender than brought the pool attendant over to apologize. Which appear to just be a formality not sincere at all. It’s said because I really enjoyed the location and property but staff like this make rating you a 5 star tough. I travel to your country quite frequently staying here again may be a tough opilo to swallow. Jay

We are very sorry to read your review. We want all of our guests to enjoy great memories and wonderful experiences here. We do not accept poor treatment to our clients. The pool attendants are required to ask guests for their room numbers. Pool chairs are reserved only for our hotel clients. Frequently, clients of the other hotel outlets try to make use of the pool chairs. Our pool attendant did confirm that he requested your room number when he met you at the pool. He had not met you before and apologized when you expressed unhappiness at his request. He said he apologized sincerely as he did not intend any offence, he was just adhering to the policies of the hotel and trying to explain this is because of the chairs are for guest use. We have decided to make changes at the pool and provide guests with pool cards which can be presented to staff at the pool so that guests do not need to identify their room numbers. We hope, in the future, this prevents any of our guests from feeling embarrassed or singled out. We have a very dedicated and hard-working team that does everything possible to ensure that clients enjoy their stays. We hope you and your friends all had a great time when you stayed the following weekend with us. Please don't hesitate to let us know if there is anything we can do to improve your stay in the future.

The Jr. Suites have only one king bed. The Deluxe One Bedroom Suites have two queen beds (the regular One Bedroom Suite has one king bed and one sofa-bed). The only additional bedding we have are Pack N' Play cribs for small children.

A few lounge chairs are providing in front of resort I didnt see any umbrellas. Down the beach you would have to pay or if you eat at the restaurants then they have chairs you can sit in afterwards for no cost.

The beach in front of the hotel is wonderful for watching kiteboarders. The water can be more calm in the morning before it gets windy. The best surf beach is a 10-minute drive from the hotel. There is another beach called Sosúa Bay a 20-minute drive from the hotel. The summer months are the best conditions for swimming, but people swim in the water most of the year. Always take caution of large shore breaks and rip tide warnings.
