We stayed here three nights in Room 1902, just three seconds away from Horizon Lounge. Rahul Pasaad had been looking after us for our breakfast. He was friendly and helpful. The room was fairly spacious and clean. The shower was strong and the flow of drains were perfect. The cocktail was really nice and plentiful of food. It was as good as dinner food. We were quite happy but I have few issues to raise. On our second day, you should have supplied us new set of shampoo, hair conditioner and shower gel and slippers just in case they run out late at night. You have also to replace our tray of fruit. Your face tissues and toilet paper were really too rough. At least for Horizon club rooms you should’ve provided softer tissues. We were really not used to using that kind of low quality tissues. Your shower room was well designed, no leaking of bath water into outside of the shower room.i asked your receptionist with a written note to change the west battery to bathroom scale and repair the night light but no action was taken.

We went in a big group and had a very warm welcome with an upgrade done without even asking for it at a very affordable price. The good part of the Hotel is the Location and how easy it is to get to where we had to go. The rooms are very spacious and clean to perfection with very well trained House Keeping staff who are very punctual. The Food is really good and whatever was ordered and tried was really good. Having been there for 5 nights we had tried one to many items from the Menu The overall stay was very good and breakfast would come to the room with a mini buffet to what you desire. This hotel is in a nice central position for the sights and we were able to walk to all the sights we wanted to see.Check-in was very smooth and we got shown to our room. Rooms are on the small side but very clean and comfortable.Could have done with more hanging space for our clothes.We chose a club room and i would say it was worth it. Firstly your room is on a higher floor so good views and then the range of food and drinks served in the evening are very good. The pool area is very nice,you get given bottles of water which is a nice touch.Some people have mentioned the noise from the road,yes you do hear it but its not unbearable. We had the hotels taxi service from the airport. The driver was there waiting for us and drinks in the car but i do think the hotel charge much to much for this service. We tried the buffet one evening but were not impressed.There seemed lots to choose from but not to our taste. Tried to order a bottle of wine. 1st choice not available then asked for a bottle of sparkling wine which worked out to about £30-£40 told not available so then offered the moet &chandon at £150. Nice try but no thanks! Staff all very friendly and helpful although i dont like the fact that some of them give you their cards asking you to personally give them good reviews (restaurant manager,one evening) when all he had done was ask us how our food was.

We arrived at this resort hotel one week ago. Before entry we were screened, and out temperatures taken - as they were after each outing. A nice initial sense of safety and security.
Upon arrival, we found that we had forgotten our iPad on the plane... we were very concerned.. I am disabled and it is difficult dealing with challenging issues in countries where we do not really understand the language or the culture.
But, to our rescue came the Concierge, Rajesh Mitharwal. He summoned his team, contacted the airport and Air Canada and within 24 hours had returned the IPad to our room.
About the hotel: A very nice 5* hotel for business or for pleasure. We requested and received an accessible room, which was fully satisfactory.
We tried two of their restaurants, Sorrento, .. Italian and Tamara. Sorrrento provided beautifully prepared Italian dishes at very reasonable prices.
Tamara was our Go To restaurant for breakfast (included) and for dinner. What a great.... like a trip around Asia, with a bit of Western included. You could have a totally different dinner each night, or treat this as an incredible appetizer buffet with many small flavorful dishes.
To our immense good fortune, we we re “adopted” by Chef Mohit Saint, who treated us to a series of appetizers and amuses that you could never make back home. Heaven on a spoon..
Regrettably, all was not Gulab Jamun.
As we were here, the Corona Virus erupted. Among other things, all travel into the country was restricted, and outside of the country a logistic nightmare.
Once again, people rushed to our rescue, in particular, Jamie Lloyd of GOWAY travel, and our hotel concierge. Simply stated, Jamie worked 24/7 to reassure us and make arrangements. I truthfully cannot understand why people do not routinely use such services for complex itineraries .
And, our Concierge acted as our Ground Contact, and was there every day.
They not only made all necessary adjustments. But equally important their calm professional demeanor was comforting during a time of great stress for us

Stayed for two nights and received a lovely welcome and great service throughout our stay from Shalini in Guest Relations. My husband had contacted the hotel to say we were travelling to celebrate my birthday and we arrived to flowers and a cake in the room. The room was spacious and clean as was the bathroom. Pool area was a great place to relax although we were a little disappointed that we were unable to enjoy a beer at the poolside. Food at breakfast was truly amazing, a wonderful selection, all beautifully prepared and we enjoyed great service. The only thing we were slightly disappointed with was the location of the hotel, we had read reviews and thought it would be easier to walk to places to eat in the evening but it did not feel a good area to walk in so we hired a tuktuk instead. It is also worth noting there is a nightclub in the hotel and we could hear the music from our room. In summary a beautiful hotel but maybe more suited to those attending business conferences, weddings and celebrations than those on holiday.

This property in Delhi never fails to make my holiday a memorable experience , I have looked forward to visiting the Shangri La Eros in a yearly basis for the past 10 years and can quite honestly say that I will not consider living anywhere else while is Delhi , from the minute you drive into the gates you will be treated like royalty. I was assisted by Mr Abieshiek on checking in who was courteous and friendly and made this process efficient and quick . The service from the restuarant staff @ Tamra , Mr Chai , Chang’s Palace are the best that you will experience ,I am never disappointed . Every person that I interacted with in the hotel from the conceirge, housekeeping , took pride in their jobs and gave off their best to the guests . e stayed a couple of nights here to pay a fleeting visit to Delhi, our first in 15 years, before a quick jaunt to Agra to pay homage at the most romantic mausoleum in the world.
This hotel is what we’ve come to expect from the Shangri La, pretty much flawless from beginning to end. We stayed in a lovely club room on the 18th floor. Magnificent view and equally magnificent and comfortable beds. We enjoyed cocktails and snacks in the club lounge on each evening before venturing further afield for a meal.
The bathroom had a glass wall which we found a bit odd but there’s a blind which deals with that. Big fluffy towels which are usually (but not always) a Shangri La signature.
Beware of the lobby cafe. We paid £45 for 3 cups of tea and 3 club sandwiches.
One sour note was the very loud banging of drums from the banqueting suite on the 1st floor. This was apparently a wedding party who were advised that drums were not appropriate but went ahead and did it anyway. It stopped shortly after and we slept well.
That aside, we continue to love the Shangri-La hotels and this was no exception. We’d definitely return.

We visited Delhi for a family trip and to visit Taj Mahal, we chose this hotel to treat our extended family and we were not disappointed. We were treated extremely well from start to finish, the staff were excellent. On check in, we arrived early and we allowed to have access to the lounge early whilst our room was being prepared. This was great because my parents had not eaten anything and really needed to rest a little. We were given extra snacks with our tea without asking. The lounge is worth the extra cost as the food there was amazing . Food is available all day and in the evening they provide hot snacks, which comes out when the food needs replenishing so it remains fresh. The view from the lounge is really nice, it was cold in the lounge but they did everything they could to warm the place up which I was pleased with. The rooms are just wonderful, so we didn’t have to wait till later in the afternoon, we were offered upgrades to suites for an earlier check in and the suite was amazing! The amenities are great, everything was thought of. We even got a call asking if everything was okay with the room and if there was anything else we needed. Breakfast was excellent, with many choices, European, Chinese, Indian and really good quality. We are once at the hotel a la carte and we really enjoyed it. The hotel is really spacious and the staff were just exceptional. Customer service here is 110%, if you value this then please stay here!

After many mishaps on our initial trip (lost bag, 2 1/2 hours in customs, horrible traffic, etc.) we were so happy we were staying in this lovely hotel. The staff, including our housekeeper Sumit, couldn't have been more accommodating or pleasant with a great attention to detail. For example, he noticed i was reading a book which i left on the nightstand, and he left me a neat bookmark. We absolutely loved the breakfast buffet. Such a variety of anything you could possibly want - and all very well prepared. The restaurants we tried were terrific as well - one chinese and one Italian. I would also recommend using the hotel's car service. They all knew where they were going and spoke at least some English. You can even arrange for them to wait as part of the package, which we did when we went to one of the markets. Our Uber experience, on the other hand, was the trip from hell. After spending almost 2 hours to go 13 miles because of the heavy traffic, the driver couldn't find our destination in spite of calling the venue several times. he also didn't speak any English so we had to find someone on the street to help us tell him to bring us back to the hotel and change the app. Highly recommend this hotel and all it's facilities.
