A nice hotel sited at the heart of the session road, great location with a lot of things to do on its neighbor. A short walk from the bus terminal, SM City Baguio, Burnham Park, Night Market, and a lot more.
A free set breakfast given to us even we booked a rooms without breakfast that’s made us wowed. The food was nice and decent with a nice restaurant ambiance.
We just got off because when we checked in, one of the rooms we booked was dirty and messed upon entering the room so we got a little bit upset. They offered a new room from other floor but we declined as we are family staying, so we just decided to wait for a housekeeper to clean the room.
Extra towel was also chargeable!
No extra room key given to us as well, as it was also chargeable!
Other than that, it was a pleasant stay with my whole family.

At the top of Session Rd is the Catholic cathedral Our Lady of Atonement Basilica. A stone's throw away is SM Baguio. Below SM is the bus depots that ply in all directions further north or Manila. going down the hill, on your left is Burnham Park and at the bottom is the famous Baguio City market. All along Session Rd, are restaurants and hotels. Behind are schools of all levels. The locals are very young and cosmopolitan. Right smack in the middle of Session is City Center Hotel. As a senior, I paid just P2k a night including breakfast. Rooms are clean and hot water abounds. With a cable car, reforestation and tulip/pine trees landscaping projects ongoing, it is no doubt that Baguio City is a premier tourist and education hub. Not to mention the crisp mountain air...a bucket list!

Although there's difficulty in climbing the stairs to the reception, it was one of the cleanest hotels in Baguio. The staff rapidly provides our requests and the food at the cafe is good. Overall city center is a good place to stay.

Friendly staff and always smiling who are also very welling to attend to your needs, perfect location, goodfood! Worth the price. Highly recomended and best choice you if want to stay along session road. I enjoyed my complemetary breakfast.

Just this weekend, I and 8 of my friends made a big mistake by booking in City Center Hotel Baguio. This hotel charge unreasonable room rate with the kind of service they provide to their customers. This hotel has no parking space. Park at your own risk. They will just tell customers to park your car at SM or anywhere without giving any assistance. Nobody seems to care. You have to carry your own luggages up to the 2nd floor (no elevator from 1st to 2nd floor) where the reception is located. Rooms don't have cabinets to place your belongings. They don't clean the rooms everyday. You need to ask the housekeeping to clean the room. I will never again book in this hotel and I will never recommend this hotel to anybody.

Picked this hotel through agoda (not gonna do that again) because of its proximity to everything. Located in session road, Burnham park,public market and SM baguio is just 1 block or a few minutes away. Now lets talk about the hotel. I booked 1 family room(301) and 1 deluxe room(310).
Kisses: Proximity Breakfast was free even if its not on my voucher Room was fairly spacious for both rooms Tidy and clean Friendly and accomodating staff They had our things stored in a storage room even if we already checked out. Cafeteria down stairs(the cafeteria is not part of the hotel)
Kicks: No smoking room/area No cabinets No bidet No view Small bathroom Glass door in bathroom not closing (rm 310)
I would still recommend it and i suggest you book directly because its way cheaper. Na stress ako sa AGODA.

- first time that we booked a hotel room and was asked to pay for 100% amt of the total balance to reserve our room. Usually we were being asked to deposit atleast 50% of the amt of the total balance. And it's via bank deposit.
- first hotel to accomodate us at exactly 2:00pm for their check in time. We know the rules.. check in time 2:00 pm and check out time 12:00 nn. But usually when we go somewhere we arrive a little bit early so we can rest for an hour or two and then we head out. We planned to going to Baguio during the christmas season (the week after christmas and before new year). It is not our first time in Baguio but it will be our little one's first time there. Our son is just a year and a half old. We decided not to bring a car to avoid tge hassle of driving through Baguio's christmas traffic. So we decided to take a bus ride. We left our house at 12midnight and left manila at 2am. We arrived in Baguio at 9:00am. We got to the hotel at around 10:00am. Just like our previous travel in any other places. At the reception we were told we could go around the city while waiting for the checkin time and we can leave our things at the reception. We thought that we were just too early that's they wont allow us to go to our room yet. So we headed out. Checked burnham park and then went to eat breakfast. But we were just too tired to go around the city. We badly need to take a nap. Since we were on the road the whole night. After breakfast we went back to the hotel it is already nearing lunchtime. Still they didn't allowed us to go up to our room. So we stayed to their cafe ate some cake and coffee but our little one is now getting upset. It is already 1pm and our little one is also looking for his afternoon nap! My son was crying.. all soaked wet with his diaper since they don't have a common toilet we can use at the lobby.. so i already complained. And when i did the receptionist started explaining things to my husband and also raising her voice a bit. She's lucky i'm so exhausted for a confrontation or whatever and i let it slip.
-to add when we were at their cafe we transferred from one table to another.. and then as i got up from my seat my bag shoved the paper on top of the table (the paper they used as placemats i think) then it fell on the floor and one staff of the cafe said "ay maam!" He caught my attention because i didn't notice the paper fell on the floor. I think HE WANTS ME TO PICK IT UP. well there's no problem with me picking it up but if i were the waiter or the staff i would pick it up myself instead of asking the guests to do so..
- then we went up to our room.. i checked the temperature of the water in the shower and the vanity area.. the temperature is not consistent. Sometimes it gets too hot and then ot gets cold. So i called up the reception and asked if we can borrow a pail and dipper. Coz there's no way i would let my son use the inconsistent water temperature of their shower. But then again the receptionist was so rude to be answering back "mam timba lang meron kame and papaakyatin ko na lang yung technician namin" but then after a few minutes a knock on the door came with a pail and dipper exactly what i asked. So i told my husband.. see they knew that the temperature of their shower is not consistent. Coz no technician came up.
-overall experience.. the room is all good nice and clean coz everything's new.. but the people in this hotel are horrifying.. ayoko lang patulan coz i don't want to ruin our vacation that time

Been in City Center hotel last January 2015, overall experience is great.
To begin with, the hotel is just new and you could see that the establishment is clean and neat. The room rates fairly okay to what you will get. The room we get didn't have food but the management decide to give us free breakfast for two days in Beans Talk. Beans Talk is one of good cafes we checked in Baguio, which is located besides the lobby of City Center Hotel. The cafe is fairly new too and the ambience is really good, the breakfast we have is simple but sufficient enough and of course its free. They have other menus but they specialty is sweets and coffees.
Moving on, aside from the hotel being good and fairly new, it is located at the center of everything in the city. The hotel is located in Session Road and just few steps away to Burnham Park, then to Terminal of jeep that will bring you to other location in Baguio. Also the hotel is walking distance as well to Robinsons and SM Baguio, we know this as we just walk to get there due to traffic because of Papal visit. Lastly the hotel is near to some of restaurants reviewed in this page like Beans Talk, Pizza Volante, Zola Cafe, Hill Station, Dads and I etc etc which you can just walk. Also, its near to Harisson Night Market which you can visit and buy your pasalubong etc.
In regards to room we got, it simple yet elegant and really clean. It neat that you wont see any dirt and its just fairly new or maybe maintained properly. The room have Aircon and of course heater and have big 32" led tv. We have a great time sleeping to there comfortable bed.
Overall we like this hotel and really recommend with you to get it. It a little pricey but you be in center of city and get all convience and access to other establishment or location which is a big plud if you didnt bring car and just commutting. The staff and others are all friend and only not so good would be lack of proper parking lot for there customer which didnt affect us.
Will surelly check in again in our next visit. Great work City Center Hotel.

Minimalist is the one word I can think of that best describes City Center Hotel. Newly renovated and located along Lower Session Road, the property itself is valuable. But there are trade-offs: there is no closet for your stuff, no hangers and things like that, there is just one chair inside the room and room service is not something that you will readily get. When I asked for hot water at around 10:30pm or so, I had the shock of my life when a receptionist coolly told me that I can go ahead and get it at the water dispenser at the lobby. Really?!? When I reiterated my request, she explained that this was hotel policy because there is a provision at the hotel lobby. I didn't think this was a sound decision on the part of the receptionist to dismiss the request of a paid hotel customer for freakin' hot water so I proceeded to enlighten her thinking. Mercifully, it worked and she later brought an electric kettle to our room and apologized profusely because I also noted in our phone conversation that she must be the same person who addressed me in a high-pitched voice when I had just arrived at the hotel. It's possible she is unaware that her voice turns high-pitched when she gets overwhelmed. I mean, this happens to most of us. However, I think when your job is located at a hotel lobby, one must find ways to keep the voice welcoming, no matter what. A smile does the trick when your voice is giving out and your nerves are getting the better of you. Especially during Panagbenga season when everybody troops to Baguio, braves the crowd and the road trip. You'd want to feel it was well worth all that hassle, and that experience begins at the hotel lobby of wherever it is you are staying. To think that we had finalized the hotel booking with a full payment a month ahead to comply (again) with the "hotel policy". Regarding that fetch-your-water-yourself policy, it is okay to inform a hotel guest about this but when the hotel guest asks anyway, that should behoove the hotel staff to go ahead and do it and not the other way around. You're in the hospitality business, aren't you? To be fair to the rest of City Center's hotel staff, this was an isolated incident with this particular graveyard shift receptionist. The reception was very professional and smooth during our actual check-in past noon of Feb 22. The hotel accommodated our requests to keep our luggage in storage while we enjoyed the city, and its male staff helped us look for a cab when we collected our luggage even when this was several hours after checking out. This is really when they hit the home run. I think if City Center Hotel management finds the right balance between customer service and its minimalist philosophy, it will reap the full value of its investment in this wonderfully located property. And avoid disaster reviews that might not necessarily reflect the overall quality of the experience, but simply stand out in people's minds because it is always shocking to be treated cavalierly.

ohm525's answer is right. Sorry, I accidentally clicked on the down vote and the system wouldn't allow me to change. Going to the hotel is a good walk from Victory Liner Bus Terminal as long as you don't have really heavy bags. I personally prefer walking. :)
If you booked the room directly with the hotel, they require pre-payment to confirm your reservation. We stayed 1 night only so I had to pay in full thru bank deposit. Since you plan to stay 4 nights, they might not require you to pay the full amount right away. You may visit their website for updated rates. City Center Hotel, as the name implies is right at the center of the city so you're close to almost everything. There's lots of taxis to bring you there. I hope this helps. 😊
De Luxe room is 2,400 pesos - the regular published rate. We paid the regular rate during peak season. But you may get lower price during off-peak season. Have a nice time!
Hi Nadine, City Center Hotel is located along Session Road and it is quite far from Camp John Hay. My room rate is Php2,100 per night including a complimentary breakfast for 2 persons. I would suggest you to get a family room instead.
