We stayed at this hotel for 12 nights over Christmas and New Year and very pleased we did. It was also our Silver Wedding Anniversary and the hotel decorated the room to celebrate this before our arrival. The hotel itself is in a good location, near to the beach and Bangla Road and Jungceylon Shopping Centre. This hotel has two swimming pools and spa, though we did not use this. Their is also a Thai restaurant with reasonable prices. Despite being near the hustle and bustle of Patong, the hotel is in a peaceful location and the noise did not disturb us one bit. My wife was given a complementary cooking lesson and she enjoyed working with the chef and made a lovely chicken with cashew nuts in Thai style. The breakfast is very extensive, even serving Thai and Indian as well as Western food. We were also given a free meal to celebrate our anniversary and special meals were laid on for Christmas and New Years Eve. What makes this hotel so pleasant are the people. All the staff, reception, admin, catering and chambermaids were so friendly and helpful and did everything they could to make our stay so pleasant. Here I must say a big thank you to our chambermaid Yui who kept our room spotless and was always so polite. Also, in the breakfast room there was Khet who always went out his way to come and chat every morning. Having said that, all the staff were so good and I would not hesitate to return in the future. Thank you Deevana Hotel, we had a lovely time and were sorry to leave.

This is one great hotel they can't do enough for you here, rooms are cleaned daily and fresh water in rooms every day too. The pool area was very clean and tidy (but could do with some bins). Breakfast was weird ? The normal stuff like eggs bacon bread toast but they was serving pasta spaghetti bolognese to name a few. Spring rolls are to die for..... Room service is good to and the food come hot. The hotels WiFi was fantastic signal everywhere. Even give you a beach bag in the room with towels and beach mate to go to the beach that is a 10 minute walk or you can get the shuttle bus to and from. All in all this is a fantastic and beautiful hotel. We will be staying here again when we return.

Upon arrival we got served warm drinks and refreshing towel, check in was smooth,our room was all dressed up fresh fruit and cake as we request honeymoon arragaments, Walking distance to all amenities (mall,bangla road,family mart,taxi, pharmacy, markets) amazing breakfast served daily, got nice snacks in the room daily, staff always greet with a smile and warm welcome each time you come in. We requested a quiet room specifically, but were placed in a room that had jackhammering directly behind. A call to reception has them try to convince me that it was the property next door. Clearly it was on their property. Beware the rooms in the older garden area have an awful smell in the bathroom - We were moved to another room only after pointing out that three guys up to their necks in a trench were not “going to be finished in 1.5 hours. The new room was next to noisy neighbors. Bad luck for us. The facilities are looking rather tired. The roof over the breakfast area is very old corrugated translucent panels that I’ve not seen since 1960’s. Thai staff were friendly and obliging when prompted. Pool areas are nice. Don’t look too closely at the exposed pipes, wiring and dead grass areas. Lovely old style garden rooms in the “older area” If planning to stay I’d invest in a room in the three storey main complex around the pool , but only if you enjoy 2pm doof doof music played around the pool by the resort speakers. Received apologies that due to resort being fully booked, a move to the requested “quiet room” was not possible. This was the first and last time we’ll visit this resort. It left is feeling disappointed by our choice to stay here after all of the great reviews we’d read. The breakfast was great except that most of the supposed hot food at the buffet was in fact cold.

The staff are friendly and the room was decent (garden area is nicer than the deluxe pool area in my opinion) The location is good as it is off of the main road but a walkable distance to the beach, bangla road and anything else you may want to see in patong. Breakfast is a buffet style and you have a choice of Thai, western, pastries, fruit and cereals.
If I had to give it a negative it is that there are no where near enough sun beds for this size of hotel. There are 2 pools and each one has roughly 35/40 beds and for a hotel with over 200 rooms thats not acceptable. It does state that you cannot reserve beds but every morning going for breakfast people had already put towels on beds to reserve them. I can’t blame them as every day we waited for a bed to become available which could be anything between 15 minutes and over an hour.
All in all we enjoyed our stay without any issues.

Just finished a 2 week stay and this is a tricky one to write as I was swithering on a 3 star.
Location is great, far enough back from the main road not to hear the traffic but you are still close enough to walk to all the nightlife and Bangla.
Staff were always helpful and special shout out to "Cream" our room maid who kept our room spotless and well stocked over the 2 weeks.
Beakfast is okay if you use the egg bar but the rest of the prepared food I was quite happy to leave.
Deluxe pool is fantastic to relax at but is ruined every day at 15:00 when for some reason they decide there is a need to blast out heavy bass music from the pool bar. Given the demographics of the people around the pool no one is interested!!! You just see people getting up and leaving.
My other issue is that on new years eve you pay top dollar for a room to get told the main pool is closed for the day and to use the smaller family pool (which was mobbed, no loungers and people ended up putting towels down on the concrete). If you are paying the festive season rates you expect everything to be available.
We stayed here before Covid and wanted a chilled out time which we got most of the time but will check out the reviews in the next few months to see if it is worth coming back.

We stayed here over December and January for 8 nights. The staff were very friendly, and were always accommodating. The room and amenities were great. We were upgraded to a pool view room from a garden view room, which also meant we were a few steps away from one of the pools, which was so good. Both the garden and deluxe pools were so nice, but get there early to grab a sun lounge! There’s happy hour every day at both pools which make the drinks quite cheap! The breakfast (which was included in our price) had great selection and was tasty. All of the staff were helpful and always smiling! I would definitely recommend this resort, especially as it was affordable! Five stars.

I've just had two fantastic weeks 27th January until the 11th February 2023 at the Deevana Hotel in Patong.
We arrived a little earlier than expected due to an early flight but the hotel transfer taxi was waiting for us as promised then after a short drive we arrived at our hotel. My first impression was Wow! This looks very impressive and it certainly was.
Obviously because we arrived earlier than expected our rooms wasn't quite ready but the hotel staff were so helpful whilst our rooms were being prepared offering us free complimentary fruit juice to keep cool and keeping updated about how long the cleaning staff would take to get the rooms ready for us and actually it wasn't long at all.
All the staff at the hotel were so polite even the security staff at the gate said good morning or good evening as we passed by.
The evening meal included in the hotel price was absolutely wonderful and the breakfast in the morning was absolutely wonderful as well, a special thanks must go out to the guy who cooked the fresh omelettes in the morning because nothing was any trouble for him and he seemed to be doing a dozen jobs all at once and all with a smile upon on his face.
We had a couple of spa treatments which I highly recommend and were so relaxing and therapeutic.
The rooms were immaculately kept and the little extras like sewing kits and shampoo and shower gel were a nice unexpected touch. You even get a free safe in the room.
This hotel is very well kept and is exceptional value considering the extras that are included in the price. There's absolutely no noise from the main road even though its probably only 50 meters from the busy street. I would definitely give it a 5 from 5 rating.
If there is one small gripe that I have it was people leaving their belongings on the pool loungers and then clearing off for the morning/afternoon and then coming back to the lounger. I know that this isn't the fault of the hotel its the fault of selfish holiday makers but if the hotel could find some way to stop this from happening it recon it would be greatfully appreciated by people who couldn't at times get to enjoy the pool area.

The Patong beach area could be quite busy and hence we decided to book this hotel which is a 8-10 min walk from the beach. It’s a decent property with most Patong attractions at a walking distance. They have two swimming pools and the one behind the spa is a better one to swim in. The deluxe room in which I stayed was spacious with all modern amenities & it was overlooking the pool with a small balcony as well . When I reached my room , the washbasin had some strange dirty patch on it and even after I called , they took time in cleaning this . The same thing happened a few days later. Some of their staff in the restaurant are extremely rude and lack even basic courtesy. The checkin was smooth and they gave us a room in time. While this is a decent hotel , I would rather go for Novotel / Holiday Inn Express which have better locations and hopefully better service.
