Getting there
Great for walkers
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
I needed the basics in a hotel for my solo trip as I didn’t plan to stay in my room much and hotel venue G was exactly what I needed. It was easy to find, I was able to take the airport bus #6001 to jongro 3 ga and walked about 5mins to the hotel. It definitely gets quiet at night around the hotel as it is surrounded by small hardware stores and the stream is right in front. Not much foot traffic either so it did feel a little scary for a single female walking to the hotel at night, but I found it actually really safe as the quiet street is only in front of the hotel, one street down are plenty of restaurants and lots of people hustling and bustling through the surround areas after work. 7 eleven is a 5min walk away, the subway station is about a 7-10min walk. I wandered around the area and found some really great food spots, you can also easily walk to ikseondong for cool cafe spots/ bars/ and food.
Hotel check in and out was easy, the staff also cleaned the room when I needed it cleaned, the beds were comfy(I like harder beds so it was perfect for me), the bedding was soft and clean. The double room for 1 person can be a bit small, I had one large luggage that took up most of the space on the floor but I had expected that so I didn’t really have any issues. Showers have good pressure and the bathroom is clean.

Nice hotel in a very good location. The Jong-no sam 3 ga subway is 3 minutes walk, and the Eulrijo 3 subway about 5 minutes. The hotel is located on the Cheonggyecheon stream which is a nice walk. The busy Myeongdong district is only a 15 minute walk away and up north from the hotel are streets full of restaurants.
The room was small, but that is what I am used to in Asian countries. Bed slept well though. The internet in my room was very weak, but when I went to the reception they send up maintenance to give me an extra wifi point in the room, which worked excellent. So very good service.
On the other hand when I had lost my room key one day, I had to pay 10.000 won (about 7,50 euro's) to get a new one. Never experienced that before and I thought it was not very customer friendly.
There is no breakfast at this hotel but there is a 7/11 nearby for some yoghurt and juice in the fridge in your room. In the lobby is a little coffee cafe that also sells cakes and sweets.
All in all I would stay again here when in Seoul and looking for a central location.

I had a great time here all the staff is amazing and kind, I had to stay longer and they helped me book extra nights without changing the room. The only downside to the hotel is that you don't need card access to go up to the rooms which was concerning because anybidy could just go up the elevator. Other than that I loved my stay here.

We stayed for 5 nights and there are 2 occasions where our beds were not made up despite having pressed the make up room request and got new towels changed. The concierge told us that it's likely due to "hygiene reason" which was why they're not changed... We found this odd that we had to remind the concierge that we would like to have our beds made together with the make up room service. Location (a quiet part of town full of hardware shops) and hotel is value for money nonetheless. It's a walk to major attractions and it is between 2 station lines which makes it very convenient. By taxi, we were unfortunate that the roads were closed due to protests near the City Hall area, which made the taxis having to go several detours, as there is only a one-way through road to the hotel.

Room Tip:Try not to book during public holidays as road closures make it hard for taxis to reach the hotel

overall nothing to shout about but merely an okay hotel. the room is too small and i find it uncomfortable. you need to check out sharp 12 or they will impose penalty. breakfast was disappointing. nothing much to choose

The hotel is comfortable and well located, close to the metro station and restaurants serving typical food. It is appropriate for short time visits to Seoul. The surroundings are plenty of small hardware stores which damage the aesthetics of the area.

Had a great time during the stay. Location is accessible, hotel is just in front of the stream. There are nearby restaurants so no need to worry where to eat. Train stations also near. From the airport and going to the airport, taking a bus is convinient also. Would recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for 5 nights in November 2017. The hotel is in a great location for both the underground and just walking around. Only gripe was that the room could have been cleaner. We found an old beer can under the bed that had been there for a while judging by the dust build up.

My friend booked the hotel room for 3 of us. Since the first day we got there, we started on the wrong foot. The receptionist we met was unfriendly. We got there earlier than check-in time so he made us wait in the lobby. We sat there in front of his eyes and waited about 15 mins over the check-in time, hoping to get called our name while everyone in front of us got checked-in to their rooms. In the end I can't stand it and asked the other guy who then helped us check in *eye roll*. The location-wise, it's a great place, near to most of the places we wanted to go.
The room service is the worst! I had to request to fill up our toiletries despite we asked to make up the room before we left. If you see empty bottles, it's common sense to put in new ones. 3 people staying, only 1 small shower gel left, do the meth! If you don't care about those things it's a great location with affordable price. The rooms are pretty small though, almost no place to put our luggages. For us, it was a bad experience compared to our Jeju stay.
