Stayed at the Sheraton during my recent trip to Abu Dhabi and I loved my experience for a variety of reasons. The hotel is ideally located near the Abu Dhabi Corniche and is under 20 minutes away from some key attractions in the city such as the Louvre and Palaces. The hotel itself is so widespread and I really liked the fact that they have a private beach and many great pools as well, making it a very lively place to be. The view from my room was great and my room was quite luxurious and comfortable. Cleanliness is very important for me and the room was genuinely very hygienic as I have a dust allergy and would not have been able to sleep properly if it wasn’t properly cleaned. The food at their breakfast buffet was really delicious and I also tried their French restaurant, Le Bistrot, for dinner one night and had one of my favourite dishes, Vol-au-vent, as well as the Nicoise Salad. Everything was just delicious and I really enjoyed seeing a french themed restaurant on site in a hotel for a change. Their health and fitness area was another great surprise as it was huge and with lots of good equipment. I enjoyed a virgin pina colada by the beach as well and it’s the perfect place to relax with family, friends or even solo! A very tranquil and incredibly beautiful place to spend a few days, whether you are visiting Abu Dhabi or looking for a weekend getaway! They also have a 40 year old British Pub that had a variety of offers going on as well, including a live band performance on one of the nights I was there. Would surely stay here again the next time I’m in the Emirati capital

Had to share for credit to this heavenly place. Check-in was so smooth and the reception team was so hospitalizing welcoming us in a very warm way. Islam checked us in and even the manager came to say hello. The suite was so spacious and the amenities was beyond expectations. The room was cleaned twice daily and attention to details were considered with a sweet note from the housekeeping attendant written on turn-down wishing us that we are enjoying our stay. The breakfast had a lot of varieties and Ibtissam the hostess was so friendly in a professional way that made it even special. The pool & the beach are so well maintained with an amazing vibes. Amazing stay and thank you to the entire team of Sheraton & specially Sriya the sweetest.

This hotel is run by a strong team, the GM is an engaging welcoming professional. The staff made us feel like friends, whilst maintaining a professional distance and standard. Little details in the room made it look like they’d really thought about their guests- plenty of coat hangers Lovely toiletries. The mattress and pillows are fabulous. General buffet is extensive and well maintained.
We happened to mention to the chef we were lovers of curry, he asked “would we like it for lunch or dinner the next day” ? We told the food and beverages manager “Othmane” Although It is not always available in bars how we love Campari, from then on it was readily made available to us. We had lovely cocktails sitting at the picturesque outside bar overlooking the ocean, one evening a member of staff wrapped me in a cosy blanket, without me even asking for it. The hotel itself stands in the centre, minutes from the Abu Dhabi mall, and many other local attractions. We will definitely be staying again on our return to Abu Dhabi and recommending friends.

Having stayed at several hotels across UAE, we were quite disappointed with this staycation. This hotel is still under renovation, but there is no sounds or dust or signs of the ongoing construction, but it’s the feel of the emptiness that’s so bothering! To begin with, we had requested for a room with a good view right upon check in, but they said the hotel is fully booked and we really were not happy with the room we got inspite of having put several requests (weeks ago )for a good room with a good view.
We were on “all inclusive”,and They give you a band to wear throughout the stay if we are on all inclusive, which itself is so silly, and moreover not all staff know what an all inclusive is!
Restaurants: There are just 2 restaurants that are open and we opted to have lunch buffet at flavors restaurant which was really sad. The staff and the hospitality also isn’t great. Having stayed in other hotel with all inclusive package, this is really very disappointing. The buffet on the National day, Dec 2 (which is supposed to be a grand one around Abu Dhabi) has very very limited choices one. Even being on all inclusive, there are not many cocktails or drinks available. The new restaurant Le Bistrot was one beautiful restaurant, the food was really good and the staff amazing! To be frank, this dinner was the only best part of the whole staycation! It’s a simple little cafe like restaurant, but the staff here were really good. We got amazing hospitality and service especially thanks to Ms. Marcial. It was a set menu, but the food was definitely delicious. Breakfast was good, not great though! But the breakfast spread was much better as compared to the lunch spread.
Pool and beach: The pool is very very beautiful, but the water was so so cold, looks like there is no appropriate temperature control there especially this winter, it’s really unbearable after evenings! The beach set up is very beautiful, but again, not many drinks and cocktails are included in the all inclusive!
Room: The rooms are recently renovated, so it’s very very clean, but the design of the room is really sad. There is hardly any furniture, esp tables in the room. We struggled to keep our things like wallets and mobiles and the only place to keep them is in the bathroom, which we just didn’t like! We took a twin bed room and the beds are so so small as compared to other hotels.
We always feel what makes or breaks in hospitality industry is the staff and their service! Probably needs a lot of training for the staff ! Here, What is totally lacking is the hospitality inspite of the recent renovation. It was totally disappointing staycation for us! The 2 stars are just for the cleanliness, thanks to the recent refurbished rooms and restaurants.

Not the best experience at the Sheraton. I expected more since the hotel has been newly renovated.
It took over 40 mins to check in at 3am. The room wasn't ready for 3 people so we had a further wait. There is still a lot of construction work and noise at the pool area The food at breakfast was cold or stale. Overall quality was poor Our room had a blocked toilet for the week. We told them daily and eventually we gave up and started using the public toilet on the same floor. One occasion when they tried to fix the toilet we came back at 1am to Poo all over the bathroom floor (I'd love to say this was a joke) The cleaners then left our patio doors wide open. We were on the first floor and someone could easily have gotten into the room from the street. Twice the cleaners left the main bedroom door open after they cleaned it so anyone could enter the room.

This is a top star luxurous hotel. Everythings is of outstanding standard. From the reception, they are very helpful and accommodating. The food in the resto is more than delicous and always fresh. The room is always meticolously cleaned with lots of room extras like drinks or new towels. Aasha is the best waiter at Flavors restaurant, she is very kind and always smiling to guest.

We, family of four, stayed for five days using two connecting rooms. Rooms very conformable, bathroom roomy, and generally in excellent conditions. One fo the rooms had a faulty window that let extra street noise in. Facilities are great, swimming pool and gym. Catering was excellent. Staff professional and very nice. The private beach is small, but it was generally not crowded. Swimming pools are very good. However, on one day the towels provided smelled bad.
One night our eldest daughter felt sick. The next morning the restaurant manager (Sanjeeva) came to the table to ask how she felt and offering any help needed. We thought that it was uncommonly courteous and made us feel happy.

Well just returned from a welcome visit back to our second home. Our annual visits were put on hold due to the pandemic and the hotel undergoing a complete renovation. I have to say the moment we walked through the door was just like old times coming back with big smiles and a welcome home message throughout the stay. The whole team at Sheraton make you feel so welcome and go out of their way to make your stay feel most wanted.
Check in is straight forward and stress free after a long flight.
The new Flavors restaurant headed by Aji Kumar and his team, offers so much choice through the worlds cuisine and the service is spot on. Tables are cleared during your dining and always asked whether we would like anything more.
New feel pool bar great and outdoor B lounge great with not so load music playing in the background.
Pool and beach area very very clean.
New restaurant La Bistrot was fabulous and very clean with an extensive menu.
The Tavern pub a great British pub with sports channels playing different sports around the bar throughout the day. Sebastian and Sunil ensured that your drink never ran dry. Great service in here and a very good food menu.
Upgrade to Club so you get the benefit of using the club lounge we’re daily snacks are served.
Overall I cant find fault with the Old Sheraton and the New Sheraton and have been coming here for 3 to 4 times a year for the last 16 years. The location is great, right on the Corniche and Taxis are always close.
I must add that the renovation has a fresh new lines and a clean feel with new rooms.
Can’t wait to get back in October and November.

This hotel is well worth a visit. The staff everywhere are so friendly and helpful. Greeted by very professional staff at the reception desk. The ambience in the hotel is amazing. The bedrooms are a great size with a beautiful en-suite bathroom with large walk in shower and a handy dressing table for the ladies while doing their makeup. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The pools are so nice and it was so handy to have the beach on site with large sofa beds freely available. The gym is amazing as is the dressing rooms along side, as good as what’s in the bedrooms. There’s such a chilled vibe at b lounge in the evening especially , thanks to Samil and his team for all their great work. Over all a excellent hotel . Thank you to all the staff. We will return.

We visited Abu Dhabi and stayed at the Sheraton corniche Rd , The location is fantastic with its own private beach , monitored by their own lifeguards , The staff are super helpful and so polite , nothing is too much trouble, Each evening after eating in the fabulous flavour’s restaurant which is again out of this world , I’ve never had such variety with so many dishes to choose from and I’m fussy!! But over and above all is the friendliness of the b bar staff especially Samil and his team that made every evening special!! A real professional and a credit to the Hotel.The staff of this place are the most hardworking people I’ve ever come across in our many travels all over the world. Forget the high rise glitzy hotels this is the place to stay !!

The choice is buffet style, plenty of choice from mainly mid Eastern European dishes. During my stay there was a Chinese themed evening and one other theme that I can’t recall.
Great food, you won’t be disappointed.
There are more places to choose from in the Abu Dhabi area.
