Just back from 12 days at The Villas Of The Galleon, Pristine Condos set amongst manicured Gardens on Seven Mile Beach, accommodation clean, tidy with all essentials and mod cons, and as an Ocean Front Villa an amazing view of the Carribean Sea, the complex has a great community feel with owners and long term renters making us feel very much welcome.The Private Beach meant the area was an Oasis from the action at the neighbouring Wistin And Ritz Carlton with shade from beach umbrellas and trees, plenty of sunbeds although if you wanted prime position you may have to rise early and bag your spot. All the watersports you could need are available to rent at the Wistin. Bars, Restaurants, Shops all close by within walking distance road side of Villas, Beachside the Coral Beach Cafe and Caprico Jacks were both a 15 min stroll along the beach in opposite directions, had an amazing time and cant wait to return will be in touch Lisa!

We just returned from a 5-night stay on Grand Cayman. After checking rates at several hotels, we decided that staying in a condo was the way to go. We chose Villas of the Galleon because of the central location along Seven Mile Beach and because the units there were priced well compared to other condo communities nearby. We stayed in unit #44 (ocean front) and loved everything about it. The entire unit appears to have been remodeled recently, and both bedrooms were bright and spacious. The welcome charcuterie plate and daily housekeeping service were nice touches.
One of our favorite features of this unit was the large screened patio, which was basically like an additional room. We ate meals out there and drank our coffee there in the mornings. There were hooks for hanging wet towels, which was very convenient. It was also a good place to keep the paddles and lifejackets for the paddle boards we had rented for the duration of our stay.
Being next door to the Westin was a nice perk as we ate at their beach grill for lunch twice and rented a jet ski at the Red Sail booth located there. Each time, we were happy to return to Villas of the Galleon, where the beach was much quieter and less crowded. There were plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas to go around, along with lots of natural shade provided by the trees that lined the beach.
We would not hesitate to stay at Villas of the Galleon again and will recommend it to anyone we know who is planning to visit Grand Cayman.

We just returned from our GCI family vacation and our stay at the Villas of the Galleon was the perfect spot for our family! My husband and I have previously been to GCI and stayed next door at the Ritz (incredible stay there as well) but wanted a condo type of place with two bedrooms/baths/kitchen for our family of four. We did a little homework on the different options on the island and what made us decide on the VOG is the small size of the property with such easy access to the beach. We rented Unit 72 and would love to stay in this unit again. The location can't be beat with the first floor porches that felt like you are directly on the beach. The place has been remodeled and has newer furniture. The double beds in the second bedroom meant that our kids could each have their own bed and a bathroom of their own to use. We had plenty of chairs and umbrellas for use each day, fresh beach towels and bath towels (housekeeping came daily), beach toys, snorkel gear and the use of a paddle board for our unit. The staff was very kind and helpful, we really have nothing but good things to say about them. The property always was kept clean, the parking was free and we had no trouble finding a space. There are a lot of places walkable from this location and it is sandwiched between the Ritz and Westin which is nice to have beachside places to eat or get a drink nearby if you want. Roosters-Yes they are there and we saw them ALL over the island. We typically use a white noise app when we travel anyhow so this was no different. If you could hear them in the mornings our app worked well because I never had an issue. They really are all over the island, not just at VOG.

This was our second time in Grand cayman, the first visit was also at the Villas of Galleon. Perfect size kitchen,1bedroom, washer and dryer. We like to cook a couple meals a day to save money.my wife loves the view of the beach from the kitchen. Dinner on the patio is just as beautiful. Washer and dryer are nice so you'd ont have stinky saltwater clothes in your luggage. Walking distance to the grocery store and liquor store..Seven mile beach is the best front yard you could ask for.

Our unit at VOG was newly renovated and beautifully appointed. The modern kitchen boasted high end appliances and every kitchen utensil imaginable. The bedroom has a very comfortable king size bed with PLENTY OF PILLOWS. This is something rare in private rentals or even hotels for that matter. Living room is comfortable with premium furniture and large sliding doors leading out to the private porch balcony providing a lovely view of the ocean.
The grounds are well maintained and the beach behind VOG is pristine with plenty of lounge chairs and beautiful mature Casurina trees that provide just the right amount of shade.
Unfortunately we were forced to leave early due to an oncoming hurricane but we hope to rebook at VOG as soon as possible. A great alternative to large impersonal resorts!

Villas of the Galleon was such a wonderful choice for us. When we arrived, we were greeted warmly by Daisy. Daisy was so very helpful during our first few days. Our room was ready upon arrival, so we checked into Villa 8 and were so happy that this was the Villa we chose. It had a nice ocean view, and the villa was in remarkable condition. The colors of the rooms and the artwork coupled with the knickknacks scattered throughout made this a beautiful place to hang our hats for 9 days. The washer and dryer were so very useful as they were quiet and quick. The shower was wonderful because besides the regular shower head there was a handheld as well. The bedroom always quiet and the bed very comfortable. Kitchen was utilized and ice maker in the freezer worked great. Now to the good stuff. The Beach! The beach was a stone's throw away from our unit. The water was amazing and while the Westin next door was overcrowded every day our beach remained quiet and serene. Who needs a swimming pool when you have this magnificent ocean at your fingertips. We were in town picking up a few groceries and were going to call a cab when Daisy saw us. She was so very kind to drive us back to the resort, groceries and all!! Unheard of anywhere else. Thank you again Daisy. Daisy also made some very good dinner recommendations, and we followed her advice, and we were not disappointed. Housekeeping was always on point, and they came early which worked out wonderfully for us. The only negative of the stay, through no fault of the resort, was that the grocery that was across the street had recently moved and now it's a cab ride away. Villas of the Galleon was in such a perfect location on the beach. The biggest decision of the day would be which way will we walk today. Outstanding stay in a beautiful place on a gorgeous beach.

Amazing. Just amazing!!!!Everything about our stay exceeded my expectations. We stayed for years at a hotel that has changed over so this was our first trip in about 10 years staying somewhere new. I wasn’t sure what to expect because the Villas website does not provide a lot of detailed information (used to VRBO or Airbnb that shows every single amenity in the apartment). So I emailed and asked a lot of questions and Daisy was amazing and super helpful. All of the facilities come with blenders, coffee pots, fully equipped kitchens, hairdryers, soap, shampoo, dish soap, etc. it’s so easy to get groceries (either go to Fosters or have them delivered) to have easy breakfast/lunch in apartment or picnic lunch on beach.
They are clean, well appointed apartments. The only thing I saw on the website was about getting daily beach towels. However, much to my surprise we actually got daily maid service. Which was amazing!
All of the staff were super kind, super helpful. The location is utterly amazing. You are physically in between the Ritz and the Westin. So while this property does not have a pool or restaurant you are 15 steps on either side from the Westin’s outdoor pool and water sport rentals via Red Sail Sports and bar and 15 steps from the other side from the Ritz is outdoor restaurant and pool bar. And honestly with this amazing of a beach you don’t even miss the pool. There were always plenty of chairs, umbrellas, and space on the beach. They even had a big bin of water toys, rafts and sand toys that people had left behind.
There is a liquor store directly across the street as is the sunshine suites which is a great spot for an easy lunch or breakfast. Buses pick up right in front of the Ritz and the Westin so you’re 15 steps from a bus stop.
I cannot say enough amazing things about our stay here. Book now - you won’t be disappointed.

We have been privileged to visit more than 30 islands around the world. On rare occasions we will return to one we have previously visited. Cayman is not only one of those; it is by far the one we vacation on the most. We have stayed at 4 properties on Cayman but the only in which we have stayed numerous times is Villas of the Galleon. Why? It is simply the best of all the plethora of places we have stayed around the world!
For us, the biggest plus is the location of the property. Since they are right on the beach, most all have some view of the beach and you can simply walk a few steps from your door and be in the clearest, calmest, warm blue water you can imagine with lounge chairs and umbrellas provided. Andrew is very friendly and also excellent at assisting you should you need anything at the beach. We also believe this particular spot of beach located on 7 mile beach is the best. The beach itself is wide with soft sand and no seaweed or rocks to poke your bare feet. We have come to this area of the beach even when we have stayed at other properties located some distance away. Also, even when the beach area has been crowded at the properties on either side of the Villas, our spot on the beach is rarely ever very crowded.
Another plus is the full kitchen facilities which allow us to save some money by purchasing breakfast and occasional dinners at the grocery store to prepare in our villa.
However, the main reason we are writing this review is to commend the most excellent staff who work for Villas of the Galleon. Communication before arrival this time was handled by Chantelle and Liza, who could not have been friendlier or more helpful in working with us to arrange our unique travel plans! Once we arrived, Daisy in the office went out of her way to make sure things were exactly how we wanted them to be.
Overall, there may be more luxurious places to stay, but when you combine the location and excellent staff, I can’t think of a place over our 30 years of travel that I would recommend more highly!

We were so lucky to have found the Villas for our stay in GC. The location is just perfect, on the seven mile beach, close to the shops and restaurants. The apartments themselves were extremely comfortable, tonnes of room for 2 people, everything you need and full of island character. The gardens are carefully maintained and a pleasure to loo at from our balcony, which also had a sea view. The beach is wonderful and very much less crowded than the neighbouring hotels, which makes it extra special. We got excellent service and attention from Lisa, who helped us sort out last minute car hire and generally made our stay very enjoyable. This really a most wonderful place to stay on the island! Thank you for welcoming the British Pirates for the festival :)

Been staying at VOG for almost 20 years now. It has the perfect location on 7 mile beach....right in the middle with the largest shoreline. The villas have full kitchen, refrigerators, dishwashers, and washing machines to make your stay more like home. The beach faces west so sunsets happen right in front of you daily.
