We had a Fantastic experience at the Kimpton Malaai, Bangkok Thailand. The food, service and staff were some of the best in class in hotel service. The staff in EVERY area were so attentive and went above and beyond to make our stay so pleasant and relaxing. So many names and difficult to recall. However, a noteworthy mention is Ms. Paii at concierge, she was so sweet and extremely helpful with my daily rendezvous, making transport reservations, nail spa appointments, etc. Our trip culminated with our transfer experience with the help of AE and Pat who were very prompt in getting our luggage loaded into our hired taxi. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and had a wonderful time. Will definitely be back!🙏🏽

Had an amazing 5 nights stay in the property. Immediately greeted upon as soon as I reached the hotel and walked into the lobby, all staff are amazing and approachable, and try their best to help with any requests that has been made. Ms Aim certainly help a lot with the check in process, very friendly and knowledgeable to any questions asked, as well as explaining some features of the hotel and my rewards club member benefits to me.

Hotel provides daily housekeeping and turn down services, even leave behind little treats after housekeeping services which are very thoughtful. Special thanks to Mr Tor from Housekeeping department for his kind hospitality.

Room is amazing, spacious and with great view, Chromecast available so you can actually mirror Netflix, Youtube etc from your phone to your TV, bluetooth speaker available too. Bathroom is big, equipped with bathtub and great power shower and amenities.

IHG Rewards Club members get 20% discount off at selected F&B outlets in the hotel, which is great. Had a chance to visit Bar.Yard, located at the rooftop of the hotel, great place to get a drink and grab a bite, with an amazing view of Bangkok, especially during night time. Nice ambience and great host especially Ms Trey. Stock Room served all day dining, breakfast was good quality although was hoping for a wider spread and varieties. One little let down with the F&B outlet is that the team at Craft was a little bit cold, more so when compared to the excellent services provided by the rest of the team in the hotel.

Location wise was good, albeit a little distance away from the BTS station, they do provide shuttle service each hour to take you from the hotel to the nearest BTS station. Or if you don't mind to walk or prefer to enjoy the walk, it's also actually quite a nice walk with sights and shops to enjoy along the way. I did at one point tried to walk all the way from hotel to Siam area, and it didn't take as long as I think it would.

Hotel is pet friendly, so it's also a delight to see people with their pets strolling around the property all the time, and even staying in the hotel with their pet. Nice environment, well secluded even though located near to the city area, didn't had a chance to use the swimming pool but the view from the pool was great, and looks like a very good place to relax too.

All in all a great experience, probably one of the best hotel in Bangkok as well, will definitely consider staying at the property again during my next visit.

This is my second times to stay at this hotel, we loved all design and decoration style. The hotel located inside center of Bangkok, there not far from shopping mall, park and a lot of delicious restaurants around hotel. My point to stay here not just for my staycation only but every time we can stay with our fluffy cat. The hotel have separate floor for PAW and have many room type to stay, they are not limited the room type. This is the best choice for us as we can try to have many experience during stay.

We have warm welcome from Khun Angun (grape), she is very nice person and are polite, she knew my preference and prepared very cute souvenir for our cat and also during my stay she have to support team to take care us and offered her assistance when she on duty. We loved and very appreciated to much.

During the stay I went to join Social hour at pool that they have free-flow drink for in house guest (like happy hour at club lounge) that be prefect, even they have only 1 hour but we have to enjoyed so much and also thank you very Khun Nott for taking care us during social hour.

For breakfast, we have ordered a lot menu as very delicious and fresh and also have many clean food as well, recommended to take fresh juices mix with cold brew coffee for DIY coffee at there.

Don’t forget to mention housekeeping team to make the room are very clean and comfortable. We are very happy to stay at this time.

Thank you very again Khun Songpol to make my dream memorable to stay with my cats as special occasions, we have permitted to come back at your hotel again.

The first thing that wows you when you step into the hotel is the high ceiling, tasteful artworks, and the greenery that surrounds you. We were soon greeted by Charlotte who is absolutely the kindest. She offered a welcome drink immediately to cool us down from the humid outdoors and facilitated the entire check-in process nicely while displaying sincere hospitality. Such genuine service has already won our hearts within the first 10mins of the stay.

The room was superb, tastefully design with high quality amenities. A special mention to the extra firm and comfortable bed and showering amenities with great temperature control and pressure (Hans Grohe). The full height windows stretched across the entire room and provided amazing day light for the room. I would say the room felt better in experience than in photos (absolutely not always the case for hotels if you understand what I mean). My wife had a splinter in her finger and needed a tweezer, I needed a deodorant on this trip, these were all fulfilled within minutes after a call to the operator. Housekeeping was also very responsive and looked into details of even coiling up all our cables everytime. The Chrome cast on the TV works like a charm and watching our favourite streaming program on the flip-out TV in the comfort of our bed was made so easy.

When we moved around to explore the hotel, there was a lady Hana, who would always be engaging and greeting us by name, introducing us to features around the hotel and even offering snacks to our pool side table during the hotel's social hour. She's absolutely made our stay so much better.

We were also very blessed by the friendly and responsive bellman who would also remember us by name and even recalled my itinerary. It's unfortunate I did not manage to get their names but they have been absolutely awesome.

Once we had an appointment booked for 8.30pm but was unable to get a taxi. We had approached Ying at the concierge to assist us with a booking.

Here's the part that sets the service of the hotel above par: Ying not only made a taxi booking, she would run out from time to time just to check if there are arriving taxi that would take us. Also, Ying had asked me for the appointment time and place. When she realised that I was going to be late, she made a call out of her own initiative to the place and explained to the person in Thai that we are delayed.

The various encounters and many more are just some of the reason why this is the best place we have ever stayed anywhere, in our recent 5 years memory. More than just a new hotel with a well furnished room, it was the warmth and hospitality of the staff that made it unforgettable.

We stayed here for the compulsory SHA Extra Plus hotel stay due to the COVID-19 restrictions for arrivals in Thailand in late April 2022.

The hotel provided a limousine to pick the two of us up at the BKK airport. There was an elegant, sealed, hard, transparent plastic sheet separating the driver and passenger seats. Upon our arrival at the hotel, we were escorted to a temporarily testing room to take the PCR test. The test result was available early in the morning, after which we were free to roam around Bangkok.

Our room was on a higher floor, bright and huge. The mattresses were a bit firm, but this was not uncommon here in Asia. The pillows and the duvets were very comfortable. The bathroom was clean, functional, and very generous in size. Shower water pressure here was also impressive.

The hotel is in Lang Suan, the leafy, upscale area of Bangkok. The shortest BTS Skytrain station, Chit Lom, is 1.2 km away. If you decide to walk, it would take you around 15 minutes.

We were very impressed with the hotel. The staff here were all very polite and competent. The only area we think the hotel could improve is the breakfast. The pastries here were outright bad. The noodles were watery. The poached eggs were good, but they took 20 minutes to make. Even the fruits here were bland. This came as a bit of a surprise to us, considering how easy it was to find sweet, ripened fruits in Bangkok all year round, especially in April, (mango, rose apple, papaya, watermelon, pineapple). But overall, we think this hotel is easily the best IHG hotel in Bangkok. Warmly recommended.

Our five night stay commenced in a King Executive Balcony Suite (Room 1005) before moving a smaller Premium Room (1608). The rooms are beautiful with very spacious bathrooms, comfortable beds and oversized walk in showers. We looked forward to breakfast each morning, (which is better than the IC Bangkok) and includes an Indian section, manned by chef Gourav Sharma. The yoghurt and musli section is kept in good order by the lady on the Deli Counter. I watched as she cleaned the area whenever guests made a mess. If you choose to stay here, be prepared to encounter dogs, and lots of them, in the lift and ground floor area.

We were looking for a staycation in Bangkok for my wife's Birthday. We had been to their restaurant, Craft, for dinner before, and thought it would be nice to try out. We were not disappointed!

I contacted the concierge team ahead of time to make some special arrangements as a surprise for my wife. "Oui" was quick, detailed, and most importantly, my wife loved the additional decorations and flowers in the room. The hotel team, took it up a notch with some additional decorations, cards from multiple departments, and a tasty cake.

We booked the Grand Premium Room and the view was phenomenal with greenery below and the city skyline afar. With the floor-to-ceiling windows we were mesmerized by the views at night. Quick Tip: The Grand Premium Room actually has 2 room designs, 1 with a small office, and 1 with city views adjacent to the bath. You can make your request when booking.

We had dinner at Ms. Jigger and Chef Danilo came out to meet every single table. We consulted him, he made his suggestions, and it was all perfect. We had some friends visit us the next day and we actually went back for lunch at the same restaurant because it was so good.

Check-out was smooth and when we asked about the differences in room categories, the manager, Knot, took it upon himself to take us up and have a look at other room types for a future stay. Friendly interactions from the staff were very common whether it was the bellmen, concierge, front desk, or all the restaurants which made us feel at home no matter where we were throughout the hotel.

We'll definitely be back again in the future!

We come for a meeting and Sunday Brunch.
Since we arrived, the meeting room was prepared without asking with full set up of equipments,
Khun Boat, who worked there come to support with all system connections without asking, it was very much impressed.
Then, we went to Sunday Brunch, it was blown away with the set up and food displayed, even more impressive with the service from Khun Martin, Khun Mild and KhunAmp also Chef Ben, they always come and make sure that everyone and everything going well for you.

My room is Grand Premium, spacious room, bathroom and closet are are about half of the room. The view of the park is stunning. You can enjoy the view from the bath tub. So the layout is all about the view, so TV is not set up center to the bed. So I’m supposed to wake up and see the view not TV. Might not be perfect for Netflix binge watching. I’m sensitive to noise and light so I always unplug the phone/radio/ipod dock/alarm. This hotel use a normal bed clock but with a sweeping hand so no ticking noise, light, whatsoever. They also provide Vifa Helsinki bluetooth speaker and Nespresso machine (commercial pod). Well, I prefer original pod, though. At least I can bring some favorite capsules with me. Overall,

I totally understand the feedback regarding the television, you are right, the adjustability is not centre of the room, this is also part of our design element, so that it's the Bangkok views you see when you wake up! I understand that this maybe a different style to what some people are used to, I apologise if this wasn't to your taste. I am glad to learn that our room product and in-room technology enhanced your sleep and stay experiences. Yes, you are correct, we use an industrial and commercial Nespresso machine coffee machine in each room, they are more heavy duty as they are used more frequently than their 'at home cousins'. In addition to this, we do have the Kimpton Morning Kickstart program, where there is complimentary hot brewed coffee as well as cold brew every morning. Stock.Room and CRAFT also very serious about their coffee game! If there are specific capsules that you would like for you room, please do let us know in advance and we will most definitely put them in your room for you! We stayed in a Junior Suite and took advantage of the 'early check-in and late check-out' promotion.
The hotel staff had thoughtfully prepared a cat house, sandbox, and plate for our cat, Wasabi.
The room was very new and nice; we were assigned a corner room with a view of Ratchadamri and the Kempinski.
The front desk staff, as well as the restaurant staff, were both excellent.
The breakfast and in-room service were both delicious, and the wine and menu prices were reasonable when compared to other hotels of the same caliber.
We'd undoubtedly return with our cat, Wasabi.
