I have stayed at 5 of the hotels in the town over the past year, in a total of about 4 months. This is a relatively new place that is furnished very nicely, great beds, HOT water with good water pressure. 2 blocks from the park on a quiet street. There is no noise, and there are no roosters around. The staff is great and they make you feel super at home. Cable TV with plenty of English programing. You will fall in love with the details of this place and the beautiful garden.
For what they charge you here it is one of the best deals in town. Can't say enough about this place and it is the only place I stay when in Copan.

I am writing this on my last night in copan inside my room at Comadore Mary Hotel. First let me say that the pictures included on Trio Advisor are very outdated as the hotel was rebuilt recently. We were extremely surprised when we arrived to see a brand new, freshly painted and spotlessly clean hotel with incredible charm! The rooms are as good if not better than your average room at a Best Western or Quality Inn. The bathrooms are large, plenty of hot water and fresh towels were provided. The staff was helpful and always smiling. Breakfast was included next door; great authentic food. I highly recommend this gem in the middle of quaint Copan and will hate to leave it behind tomorrow. Make sure you stop by the Cafe next door, amazing coffee!

been coming to Copan for years and often stay here for a month at a time. The rooms here are about $25 a night, and nicer than some of the $90 a night places I have stayed at. There are 6 rooms all new, beautiful clean well kept, and connected to the best place in tow to eat. Hot water, friendly staff and a safe location. Make sure you make this your home for as long as your are in town.

We went to Mary’s restaurant for dinner. It was recommended by our hotel clerk, and the recommendation was a very good one.
Friendly staff, free wifi, abundant dishes , excellent food and delicious lemonades!
It was so good that I had breakfast the following day, and again it exceeded expectations!

I was refered to Mary's Hotel by someone I met in Antigua, and I must say the place is a hidden gem. I showed up without a reservation and although the single bed room was not ready, they allowed me to use another (bigger) room to keep my luggage and use the bathroom before I went off to tour Copan Ruinas. In addition they kindly reapired my backpack which was falling apart during my travels and welcomed me in the evening with a cold tea beverage and bottle of water. The room had a lovely bathroom, small tv, ceiling fan, plenty of storage space and also free wi-fi was available. The location of Mary's Hotel is close to the plaza but quiet enough and on the right side of town to walk to the ruins.

I didn't get to try the restaurant but I heard many good things about it from fellow travellers and wished I did. I would certainly hope to visit this place again when I'm passing by.

What a great place, very clean, hammock in front of the nice room, friendly people.
Stayed here for 4 nights and would do it again.
In the morning we would order a coffee next door by comedor Mary and they brought the coffee back to us while we were chilling in the hammock.

The grounds, though small, are plant-filled and charming. My 2nd floor room with a balcony was pretty perfect. Everything was clean and well cared for in both the restaurant and hotel areas. Coffee was outstanding and breakfast was delicious !

I stayed at Comedor Mary as it is a perfect place to stay at when visiting the Mayan ruins at Copan Ruinas. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the hosts very nice and accommodating and very willing to help. The on-site restaurant is very good value for money (I had an amazing steak!) with courteous services and is obviously a local favourite, as it was full of locals when I ate there. Of course this is not a type of hotel that would be considered a luxury resort, and than goodness for that. If you're after a nice, comfortable and clean accommodation for very good value, this is an excellent choice.

We had a room with a single bed on the main floor. No a/c, but none was needed - the fan kept us very comfortable. Room was simple but nicely decorated and spotless, shower was hot and had good water pressure, and the hotel feels very secure. The onsite restaurant is good as well, especially the pupusas!

The location is excellent, just a short walk up a hill to the town square. Copan feels safe, even at night, but it's still nice to not have to walk too far if you find yourself out after dark. The family and staff that run the hotel and restaurant are all wonderful. A few of them spoke some english, and they were all very patient with our attempts to communicate in Spanish. Highly recommended.

We stumbled across this place by accident...so glad that we did. We stayed in room 3 (I think they have 7 in total) and it had a supremely comfortable bed, the shower was great (pressure and heat) and theres cable tv. The staff were welcoming, attentive and friendly...one girl is learning English and keen to practice. We got complimentary water bottles each day, juice on arrival and there´s coffee going from 8am or so.

It´s nice to chill in the hammocks and have a coffee. It´s quite a quiet place to be. The restaurant is accessible through a side door. Breakfast seemed a bit steep but lunch and dinners were great value...chocolate milkshake was devine.

I actually can´t fault this place at all...if you´re in town definitely come here...if you are on a budgetm consider a splurge.

"The ceiling fans were perfect for me and I was very comfortable even though the outside temperature was quite hot and we lost electricity for most of one day. My brother stayed upstairs and complained the room was too hot and the owners immediately purchased an extra fan."
