Fantastic resort in the Boca del Rio area - which is a great location for seeing all of San Pedro town, as well as some of the best bars / restaurants on the island. Caye Casa is right off the beach, and has a really great dock and entrance into solid sand and clear waters - which many places around town do not have. Big plus. And the pool is quite nice, too. Very cozy rooms, with big showers and nice views. And a great host (Jake) who can help with whatever you need. Really great time had by all of us. We will be back!

Caye Casa is a fantastic place to stay if you’re looking to stay on Ambergris Caye. Jake and the entire staff there were so welcoming and helpful, especially while booking, cancelling, and rebooking throughout the pandemic. Our room was gorgeous and was way beyond our expectations (which were already high!). Close enough to walk to some great restaurants if you don’t want to rent a golf cart. Amenities were great- we used their beach towels, had beer, coffee, and fresh water in the room as well as some toiletries to use. We will definitely be staying here when we come back!

This place is the best spot in the area! Everything was perfect for our Thanksgiving in San Pedro. The staff is amazing, anything you need or want they can arrange, the rooms are steps away from the beach, it was amazing to wake up everyday, take my cup of coffee and walk right to the ocean. I will definitely be staying here again my next trip.

Can’t say enough good things about this place. It was clean, in a perfect location, and Jake (the manager) was extremely attentive, knowledgeable, and kind. He helped make dinner reservations, secure a golf cart (which was there when we arrived), and arranged for us to be picked up from the water taxi. His right hand man, Thurman, was also lovely and kept the grounds and pool clean and secure. Definitely recommend staying here! Feels like family

I wish I could give Caye Casa more than 5! The room was spotless and had everything we needed. I especially LOVED having enough pillows! The pool was so nice to dip into when I didn't feel like walking the extra 20 yards to the shore. :-)
The location was ideal. Not too far from everything but not in the middle of a noisy area. The dedicated dock and sunbathing area were treats.
The room had plenty of outlets for charging our stuff, a sweet A/C, fast wifi, and a TV we watched for... maybe five minutes. Too much else to do!
The absolute BEST part of Caye Casa was our host. I'd say really more of a concierge! Reservations? Done. Recommendations? Sure! Advice? Yep! Rescheduling reservations? Twice? No worries.
A totally stress-free vacation. The only bad part is having to go home. Really appreciate this place and the extra special care that they take.

There are many positive and well deserved praises already posted about Caye Casa- all of which are true. So I won't repeat. Up until five years ago I had my own home on Ambergris Caye for more than 16 years. I know what is required to maintain such a property as impeccable as this botique resort. I still return once a year to visit old friends and make new. I always admired Caye Casa from a distance given its authentic Belizean style and island atmosphere so I gave it a try. I was not disappointed. The property is managed by the owners themselves giving it a very personal and caring touch. The rooms are quaint, clean, air-conditioned, with kitchenettes and on the beach! If you’re looking for big, glass, cement and stainless steel then look elsewhere. If you are looking for a true Belizean experience, then this is the place!

Caye Casa is a fantastic boutique hotel that met the expectations of our entire group! The hotel has a family vibe and includes all the amenities you need to have a wonderful vacation. Jake and his team were always attentive and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed to make our vacation flawless. The location of Caye Casa gives amazing ocean views and walking distance to many local places for nightlife. I highly recommend Caye Casa; it will always be our choice when visiting Belize.

I was looking for a place on Ambergris Caye in or very close to San Pedro for a 22 night "work from home" stay. Many things were important to me including quality of the property, location and internet connection (I had a Board meeting while there). I can honestly say I could not have picked a better place than Caye Casa. I rented the bottom left 2 bd 2 ba. I woke up to beautiful views every morning, well anytime I looked out the front double glass doors. I'm also a runner and being able to walk out my front door and have miles and miles of beach front to run on was paradise. I can't say enough about Jake who was incredibly helpful and during my stay I'd say became a friend. If there was a higher rating than 5 stars I would have given Jake and Caye Casa that rating. Jake and Carla, thanks for an incredible stay! I will be back! Oh ya, the internet was better than the internet I have in Del Mar, CA. #cayecasa

WE LOVED THIS HOTEL! Jake, Justin and the whole team were fantastic from the moment we arrived. The 1 bed upper Caribbean dream was spacious and amazingly clean with beautiful artwork and furnishings. Huge balcony with comfy seating and a hammock for our morning afternoon and evening naps :) . The team at Caye casa take so much pride and care of the property. The lovely mario kept the beach looking amazing. Perfect location, right on the beach. Central enough everything was easy to get to but far enough away from the centre of San Pedro. Some great restaurants close by including Wayos and Chuck and Robbies boat tours just down the road. We will.definitely be returning to Ambergris Caye and Caye casa!

Well I and my wife stayed her last November and it was spectacular Jake, Justin, Marta & Mario all went above and beyond expectations! All requests were fulfilled immediately they treat you like a family member. (that you like lol) The room was perfect and right on the beach, bed was comfy and the a/c worked perfect, the area was perfect Wayo's beach bar is a quick few steps away along with Hurricanes bar and restaurant both in stumbling distance! we will be back this year can't wait see you soon Jake! Cheers! Update 11/12/23 2nd stay at the best boutique resort IMHO On San Pedro treated like family love this place booked for next year already!

Taking a taxi is the best way. Please let us know which water taxi (San Pedro Belize Express or Caribbean Sprinter) you are taking out to the island along with your arrival time and we we'll have a taxi driver waiting at the pier. You may also take any taxi that is available. It's a 3-minute ride to Caye Casa. It's a 15 minute walk (north) up the beach (less than 1/2 a mile), but if you have rolling luggage we recommend taking a taxi.

It all depends upon where you eat. There are grocery stores on the island where you can buy your own food, as well as fruit and vegetable stands which are very inexpensive. Pre-packaged foods from the mainland are always more expensive than most of the fresh food. In the evening there are often vendors selling barbecue along the beach which ate cheap and very good. So you could probably get by on $25 a day if you go the frugal route. But if you go out to eat a lot you'd be looking at $75 to $100 -- more if you drink a lot.
Side note - if you decide that you want to rent a golf cart for your own transportation while on the island (highly recommended), have the office staff help you after check in. Their recommendation is inexpensive (compared to our own research) and the cart company will pick you up and take to back to their office for paperwork/getting your own cart. Super duper easy.
The pool is very small, more of a dunk to cool off than to swim and play. But there are plenty of lounge chairs on the sand and the whole are is very chill about drinking in public. Drink your own beer, or ask a nearby bartender for a to go cup! The location of Caye Casa is perfect, close enough to bars and restaurants, but not right on top of any (quiet at night).
There are more places to choose from in the San Pedro area.
