Hotel's Favourite
My family of five stayed at this hotel recently (mid-August) and we loved it here! This hotel is a 10-13 minute walk to Disneyland, depending on how tired your feet are. On the way to Disneyland, you will walk by Mimi’s restaurant, Panera Bread, McDonalds, and IHOP so there are lots of options of places to eat at.

The hotel does include a lovely breakfast every morning. The breakfast was great! There were eggs, sausage, fruit, oatmeal, cereal, bread, bagels, juice, coffee and hot chocolate. Some mornings they had biscuits and gravy and some mornings there were hashbrowns. I really liked the fact that they don't use paper plates or plastic cutlery. This really cuts down on garbage.

We did walk to the Anaheim Gardenwalk a few times and ate at California Pizza Kitchen and the Cheesecake Factory. The walk took about 20 minutes. There is an escape room and bowling at the Garden Walk as well as some shops. CVS and Walgreens is about a 20 minute walk from the hotel.

The pool area was really nice at this hotel! There is a long rectangular pool and there is a nice hot-tub to soak those sore feet. There is also a splash pad area for little kids. There were lots of nice chairs and loungers by the pool area. I wish that I had more time to just rest in that area as it was really pretty. You can bring drinks to enjoy by the pool if you want to.

The lobby is nice and clean and the staff was always very friendly. There is an onsite restaurant but we never ate there. The hotel showed a movie one night in the pool area but we were at Disney so we missed it.

The rooms were really great! We had a room with 2 queen beds and a pull-out sofa. The beds were very comfy! There is a lot of space to store all of your belongings and luggage. We enjoyed having the little kitchenette area with the sink, microwave, full fridge and kitchen things (plates, glasses, cups, utensils). They even supplied dishwasher soap and dish soap to clean the dishes up. I did bring a dish cloth and wash cloth with me. We could see the Disney fireworks from our window so that was really nice!

This is a great hotel and the pricing tends to be quite decent. It was also very clean. I would highly recommend it!

this hotel will be a gem when it is completely finished. Right now the pool has not been filled, the restaurant and breakfast area is under construction, and the two bedroom suite I ordered online was not ready so it was replaced by two studio rooms and I was not charged for the original two bedroom suite. The rooms were brand new-- one room we had was facing the I-5 highway and you had to strain to hear any road noise. The rooms facing away from the highway had a partial view of the fireworks at Disneyland.
There are no tub mats so consider bringing your own. The refrigerators were the biggest I have ever seen in a hotel. You could fit a frozen pizza in the freezer even though you couldn't cook it in the microwave. The kitchen was well equipped and The toaster is in the bottom drawer in case you are looking for it.

There were plenty of towels in the bathroom but only two sets of amenities such as shampoo and soap per room so be sure to look at your room when you get in and ask for more if you have more in your party. There are plenty of outlets near the bed and we had no trouble putting a CPAP machine next to one of the queen beds in our room. There are also USB outlets near the bed.

There is an alarm clock which may have the wrong time, as ours did. Another person in our party figured out how to open the back of the alarm clock and reset it to the proper time. Kudos to Hilton, these clocks display if you have an alarm, so if someone has inadvertently left their alarm on from a previous visit, you will see it when you look at the clock face and won't be woken up in the middle of the night as happens so often other hotels with alarms that are not displayed!
it is a 15 minute walk over to the main gate of Disneyland and California adventure. We were meeting a friend who works at Disneyland at 7 AM, and the security to let you into the plaza between the two parks was not letting anyone in till about 10 after seven, but it was another 10 minute stroll to the Starbucks in downtown Disney from the security site.
as far as I know, there is no transportation provided by the hotel to the park.

There is a shortcut to the parks, when exiting the hotel walk past the adjacent Holiday Inn and then walk down the first driveway to your left. That will take you to a parking garage, turn right at the end of the driveway, walk through the gates of the garage all the way through the covered and uncovered lot and exit and turn left at the street.

This hotel is fantastic for Disney families. It’s brand new and absolutely gorgeous. The breakfast that starts at 6:30am is included with the stay is sooo convenient when you are with young kids. It has the full spread with anything a kid would want (yogurt, cereal, waffles, bagels, muffins), and this morning it included omelettes and an oatmeal bar. I was happy to be able to eat healthy before a big Disney day. So appreciated and it’s clear the staff are working so hard to keep everything spotless everywhere at the resort. The staff is also very customer oriented all around. They have all been outstandingly pleasant, especially Chez, the guy on evening duty every time I come. This time he offered me extra masks so I wouldn’t have to go get them from the car, but other times he has tried so hard to address my weird mom requests. I have stayed here 3 times since it opened and have abandoned my other Disney hotels, and I’ve tried a lot of them! The 15 min walk from the park entrance in the *opposite* direction from the majority of the crowds is a major draw for us. Bonus - we found out with this last stay (Room 626) that some of the rooms are perfectly positioned to catch the Disney fireworks at the end of the night!!! pure magic I tell you!

The rooms are big, with 2 queens and a pullout sofa being the standard model. The bedding for the pullout is provided and there are tons of drawers and cabinets - storage is sometimes thrifty in hotels but this is just right. The kitchenette with microwave, dishwasher, and all the plates/utensils/glassware you need is a massive advantage for traveling families, and they all come with sizable fridges. The bathroom always has 5 towels (great for my family of 5), is stocked with neutrogena products, and makeup remover wipes. If you need more shampoo the front desk is quick to provide. And there are multiple garbage cans (as it should be!), one full size under the kitchen sink. Everything is just so thoughtfully designed for families that I will look for Home2Suites in future destinations.

Some features are not quite finished yet, like the pool, but they do have a sister resort next door that you can walk to with a pool and cute splash pad. Expect about a 10 min wait for the required valet parking. The pricing ($22) is fair and standard for the area.

We stayed here the week before Christmas for a last minute trip to Disney. We had a room with 2 queen beds, a pull out sofa and a kitchen (no burner but you can borrow a portable burner from the front desk). The rooms were good size, and service at front desk was great. We arrived at the hotel at 9am and they held our luggage at a storage room, valet parked our car and went to the park. came back at 3pm and the room was ready. There is a lot of shelves in the room for storage. Kitchen came with a set of 5 plates, 6 bowls, mugs, silverware and glass cups. Microwave, mini full size fridge with freezer and dishwasher. There is no daily housekeeping but you can request trash pickup and towels. Rooms were clean and well stocked.

Breakfast is located on the 2nd floor and has a selection of breakfast sandwiches , bagels, breads, waffle makers, premade omlettes, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal and juices/coffee/tea/hot chocolate. There is a seating area but we opted to eat in our room.

It was walking distance to Disneyland park but off Harbor so you don't have that hustle and bustle.

Parking is valet and can be parked off-site so you could have to wait up to 10 minutes for your car--that was probably the only negative about this hotel but would not stop me from staying here again.

My family and I had the best experience here. We stayed for one night and felt welcome as soon as we walked in and was greeted by the host. Our room was completely spotless and sanitized. The complimentary breakfast was served in to go boxes which made it very conscientious and safe. I will most definitely be coming back with my family.

From the time I check in to the time I check out was a horrible experience.

When I check in the front desk lady had the attitude of my way or the highway, and was very unpleasant to work with.

I asked for a blanket for my pullout couch the first night I was there and got a blanket with holes in it. I repeatedly asked for a blanket over the next two days including the front desk, house keeping and other staff members. A family Member had to go down and demand a new blanket to replace my blanket with huge holes in it.

House keeping came by to service my room on day one, after I was told my the front desk they only service rooms every 3 days. I asked for towels and another blanket, they told me they would be back with the stuff I needed and never returned.

Day two they came and cleaned but never took out the trash and ended up taking my daughter PJs that was sitting on the towels in the floor.

They also force you to pay for valet parking as there is no self parking allowed, they charge outrageous prices and give no discount for multiple nights staying.

We stayed at Home 2 Suites in Anaheim. CA for the first time. We checked in on 3/3 and checked out on 3/6. We planned this stay through a Disney planner. The bathrooms do not lock and they are closed with sliding doors instead of a regular door. Which is not ideal if your staying with kids as majority of the time that is the case. You can tell Housekeeping is poor because when we pulled out the bed we found other peoples trash and receipts stuffed in the couch. There were spots that could be easily wiped upon the counters that they missed. And the water that comes out bathroom sink smelled strongly of recycled sewer water, it had a strong poop smell that i didnt feel it was ok to even brush your teeth with so we brought out own water bottles. Valet is expensive. I found out the next day of check out they charged my card almost $300. I called to inquire of the charges and found when i talked to Gabby the manager that housekeeping said there was evidence of smoking in the room. Gabby said she would talk to the housekeepong manager and then call me back. Which she did and she stated the house keeping manager and several staff said it smelled like smoke in the room and that there was evidence in the room they took pictures of. I asked to speak with the housekeeping manager which he stated his name was Manuel Rivas. I advised them that there was absokutely no smoking in the room and i wanted to knkw why he and his staff placed that charge on my room. He stated it was because he smelled smoke in the hallway (not in the room) and that he sent one of the housekeeping women into our room after we left to look for evidence. I told him there was absilutley no smoking in the room and that there are witnesses that would see my boyfriend walk out of the hotel to the street to smoke. He said it wasnt just him but also the supervisor that said they smelled smoke in the room and found left over joints, etc in the room. Theres a difference between actual smoke smell and the smell of marijuana. Im currently waiting for the supervisors name, a copy of the pictures which is the so called evidence, and the corporate number because it is very disappointing that the housekeeping team is lying like this to charge more money and they clean poorly to begin with(its funny how the managers stories keep changing. I do not recommend this hotel and I will not stay here with my family again. Its crazy how they look for any opportunity to falsely find reason to incure additional charges. Ive now read other reviews where peoples things went missing after housekeeping entered there rooms so I definitely do not believe or trust the housekeeping manager and his staff. Lesson learned.

I will be leaving this same review on every website. I want a copy of the photos that they took because i know for a fact there was absolutely no smoking in the room or hotel and there was no smoking paraphernalia left in that room.

We loved our stay at the Home2 suites. We were welcomed with a smile and greeted kindly every day!
We were told about what to expect and the amenities of our stay. Those amenities didn’t disappoint.

We loved the pool. They are open everyday and the pool & splash pad are heated with plenty of space for families to enjoy.

The breakfast was great, well stocked and the dining room area was kept clean.

We also loved the gym. It was clean and had plenty of equipment.

The location is perfect for Disney and has easy access to a freeway!

The room was great. The hotel is new and clean. There was plenty of space for our family of 5. Having the kitchen, fridge and all the dresser space was perfect for our 7 night stay.

Our one big complaint and concern was the noise. We were on the 5th floor and our neighbors above us were ridiculously loud. We are not complainers but were beyond frustrated and exhausted. When we talked to the desk, they were great but basically said there’s nothing they could do until quiet hours… which left us feeling defeated.
We went and bought a room fan, had the dishwasher running, the ac unit running and still had unbearable noise.
My son is very sensitive to loud sounds and would cry every night (until they checked out on the 4th or 5th night)… but I noted that in my reservation and had asked for a top floor room. When you are paying to sleep in a hotel, sleeping should not be considered a luxury. We would not even go back to the hotel during the day time to let the kids rest, because of the noise. Disappointing considering the hotel is no new, you would hope for better noise/sound control.
All of that being said, we are looking forward to returning to the Home2Suites as our Disneyland hotel… as long as we are on the top floor 😊

Consistent above and beyond customer service and cleanliness. We stayed 12 nights due to health issues and home remodel and we always had smiles, welcoming, and amazing service. Our room was cleaned beautifully, anything we needed was brought quickly, A full kitchen, more than enough towels, comfortable beds and a quiet environment for my husband to rest as he recovered. The breakfast was great and the breakfast crew was the best as they made us feel that we were among friends. I have travelled quite a bit and this has been my best and most consistent excellent experience. I can’t wait to return!

This hotel is very close to Disneyland (walkable distance) and rooms have a kitchenette - exactly what I was looking for. I have a picky eater and I was able to have food for her in our room. There was a fridge that included a freezer, microwave oven, toaster, coffee maker and they can provide portable cooktops upon request for no additional charge. The room was very spacious as well as the bathroom and the beds very comfortable. I also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast: oatmeal, self made waffles, yogurt, fruit, juice, coffee…. way more options than I expected. Overall great experience.
