The Sheraton Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport Hotel garners mixed reviews for its prime location near terminal 2, which many guests find convenient. While the cleanliness of the rooms is often commended, feelings about the hotel's value and service are less positive, with numerous travelers considering it overpriced and the staff's service lackluster. Opinions on the atmosphere and amenities are divided; some appreciate the quietness and in-room details, yet others find the decor dated and the amenities missing modern touches. Concerns about the varying quality and comfort of the rooms are also noted.

This is the best LZ or crash pad for quick connection or even longue business trips to Paris. All rooms are now remodeled with latest entertainment systems, free and reliable high speed internet connections for BONVOY members, great Gym & Sauna. Hidden conference and Business Center under the reception lobby (I know straight out of a James Bond movie)...great breakfast buffet, very nice Bar and 2 restaurants with 4 star gourmet food and service, parking space available although limited; it’s the ideal hotel in the heart of the airport complex 20 mins from the heart of Paris (at night no traffic while returning from dinner) and 5min walk from the bullet train and RER station under the hotel and another 5 mins walk from your gate no matter where you are headed.
All staff members speak English (BONVOY,...Helloooo). Room service is very efficient so is the laundry service and if you are a regular you get a access to very special amenities like Hermés only soap, shampoo and all other special treats. Concierge team will get you whatever you need with a reasonable timeframe but truly anything you request...ask for François (Sr Concierge Manager). Incredibly resourceful!

Whether you are meeting business partners in the city or outside the city it’s really an ideal location, I have personally stayed here for the last 25 years!

Convenient airport location in the entrance area of Terminal 2 - the lobby and restaurant areas can be loud but once you get to the rooms, you wouldn’t know you’re in an airport area. Cramped shower and smaller bathroom but acceptable overall. Biggest beef is access to electrical outlets. There are very few of them and many won’t accommodate an adapter - had to crawl on hands and knees to find a usable outlet. No USB ports found and the TV has a very bright clock aimed directly towards the bed.

Ok so basically location wise this hotel is great if you’re flying via terminal 2E in CDG. It was quiet and I found the staff friendly. In particular one of the managers Ivan resolved a booking problem promptly and professionally. That’s the reasons I would give three stars. The hotel is however on the more expensive side compared to its competitors. I paid more for location and the sense of a more luxurious stay. My “deluxe” room was anything but however with chipped furniture, stained and torn wallpaper and carpet. One small bottle of water was in the room free of charge, internet was provided but only at a throttled speed with higher speed internet being charged at €15 per day. There was no shower gel in the bathroom and multiple power sockets were placed in bizarre ways that were unusable.

Overall I’d probably chose another hotel if requiring an airport stay again until the rooms have been renovated.

I just checked into room 204. I have stayed at the CDG Hilton many times and am extremely sad that I decided to give this Marriott property a chance - I'm a member with both hotels and the Hilton is nicer, the rooms are more updated, the outlets work and a cheeseburger isn't 30EUROS!!! And the rooms aren't 260EUROS. Hell i just paid that to stay at the Intercontinental Hotel in Lyon (which was worth every penny). This is NOT the Intercontinental! One outlet by the bed does not work. The carpet is stained and threadbare, pieces of veneer are chipped off the old 1950's furniture. So, yeah, the location is convenient and not worth it. You can take the TGVal shuttle to Roissypole (terminal 3) and stay at the Novotel or the Hilton - either one is much nice and less expensive and way less expensive for a cheeseburger! The bathroom is clean, so that's something but the bathrooms are clean at Holiday Inn Express and Ibis hotels too. Someone said that windows are soundproof?! They are not. I would not stay here again if the room was half the current price. Huge disappointment.

The hotel is super convenient for an early morning flight and rooms are extremely quiet given you are in the middle of a very busy airport. Bed very comfortable.

On the down side (Room 311) large chunks of the Formica/wood missing on the mini-bar round. Mold on the ceiling and floor of the shower. Stains on the carpeting. To have your phone charge while it is near you for your alarm one needs to get on their hands and knees to plug the charger. As a BonVoy Gold and Marriott stock holder I was disappointed. The room was not inexpensive. A total remodel is necessary to bring it up to today’s standards.

We booked this hotel for the convenience of being in Terminal 2 for our next day flight on Air France out of Terminal 2F (<10 minute indoor walk with luggage). We booked in advance and checked in earlier that day on the Bonvoy App. Upon arriving at our scheduled arrival time of 7 pm the front office staff informed us that housecleaning had not yet cleaned our room. They gave us 2 drink vouchers to use in the overrun bar where it took us 15 minutes to get our glasses of Rose. They later came by and offered us a key to use the club lounge (part of our room class), which was now closing in 30 minutes. We asked to speak to the manager about receiving some other form of accommodation for the inconvenience. We were told the manager was in a meeting and would call us. She never did. We checked out. The double club room that we stayed in was large and had a separate door to the bedroom, so functionally it was a suite. It also had another door looking like it could be joined to another room making a functional 2 bedroom suite. The furniture was extremely dated and worn and the carpets were very stained. It appeared that the batteries were out on one of the TV remotes and the scale rendering them of no help. The bedroom remote could control both TVs however. For $450 US dollars the room was a severe disappointment. The best part of the room was the shower which had great pressure and got warm quickly. The breakfast buffet at the restaurant downstairs included in the room was acceptable.

This is an average/above average hotel charging too much for an overnight stay prior to an early morning departure from CDG.
It needs a “refresh” in many ways and in many facets of the room.
There are NO USB ports in the room and a mediocre access to wifi.
I had fantastic service from the concierge regarding attempts to print Covid test results from the French federal web site...
The best part is to walk out the hotel front door (without waling outside) and turning right physically into the airport terminal 2E (Delta).

I had a 16 hours layover in CDG (on purpose) and chose the Sheraton.
This is the only hotel that is connected to terminals.
It is my understanding that other hotels require you to take a train.

In the US airports hotels are usually directly connected with a shuttle, looks like this is not the case at CDG.

Anyhow, After landing at 2F I walked to the hotel. This is not a short walk and signs are very unclear to find the hotel. (Look for a orange plane that seem to be taking off rom a bed).
Check in was a breeze.
I was made aware that they dont provide upgrades to Marriott gold members.
The lady at the front desk was very nice. She went through the COVID hotel limitation.
For instance, restaurants close after 10.30pm, which is extremely strange knowing that people arrive to the hotel throughout the night and might be hungry at 3 am...
Room service is extremely limited as well after that time.

I really only had their continental breakfast. It was a disappointment for France. Croissants were bad.

The rooms are pleasant. View is really cool for aviation geeks, because you have a large window/desk facing runways and terminals.
Rooms were pristine clean.
Bathrooms are nice, minus the water pressure.

Common areas look nice, feels like being on a cruise ship.

Overall it's certainly a great option for layovers, a bit expensive for what you get in my opinion, but I would gladly use that same hotel again.

One of the strangest shaped hotels I have stayed in. When they advertise being in the airport they are not kidding. The terminal is on both sides of the hotel with several levels of streets. The hotel is squeezed between and shaped like a wedge. Here is the problem: if you are driving a car, while the hotel is quite easy to identify, finding a way to get to the hotel with the car is a big problem. After circling for a long time, we turned off the GPS and started driving by observation. It turns out that there is a small side branch to one of the levels of streets that is unlabeled. That gets you next to the hotel, but this is NOT parking; only unloading passengers and luggage. Be aware you will need a validation from the hotel to leave this drop off or there will be a 10 Euro charge at the exit. The good news for us was that the rental car return was a couple of hundred meters away and well-marked. After dropping the car at the rental, we had a short walk in the terminal to the hotel. The hotel is an oasis from the airport hussel. Very modern, clean, spacious enough. Terminal 2 is immediately accessible right outside their front door. Hotel check in was excruciatingly slow but friendly. Concierge was extremely helpful. The hotel restaurant had a good menu. It was expensive, service was so bad - the servers were untrained and very clumsy, spending a lot of time speaking out loud to each other, serving wrong meals and dropping plates and utensils over and over again - it seemed to make the guests laugh. With the air traffic and car traffic right next to the hotel we were expecting a lot of noise, but it was quiet in the room. This hotel is conveniently located to a very busy airport and would be a good stopover flying from/to the airport.

I like the hotel but it needs a facelift. I have stayed here on several occasions . Carpets are faded and seem unclean. Registration staff are efficient, friendly, and helpful. Zero complaints or problems with Registration. Our room was clean and beds comfortable. I like rooms facing runways the lights are pretty at night. The hotel is dated and showing its age. It needs a more contemporary vibe and renovation.

Hotel food at restaurant boring and stuffy with too many seafood selections. I myself am allergic to seafood so have very little to choose from the menu. Its expensive as well . I would like to see more healthy selections and simple recipe without all the gravies and sauces.Just my preference but mostly seafood selections.

The Galaxy Bar Menu is okay but Food and Service was absolutely terrible. We arrived 8:45 pm Jan 6, 2020 hungry and tired. We waited 1 hour 20 minutes for Club Sandwich, Ham Sandwich, Humus, and Onion Soup. The Humus was uneatable bland and tasteless no lemon no garlic or salt we didn’t eat it. The onion soup was cold and just bitter. We managed to eat 1/2 of our sandwich each. We ordered coffee and Creme Brûlée waited over 30 minutes and it never arrived. We approached the bar to pay our bill and left the restaurant. It was not busy so I don’t understand why the service was so poor. The coffee machine was in the bar so why couldn’t they bring our coffee right away.

Do yourself a favor avoid the restaurants here at Sheraton if you can especially the Galaxy. Zero customer service or care for the guest.

Go to the train station area and get something you can eat at a reasonable price !!!!
