Ridgeview Cottages are situated in an ideal location, but in recent years the property had been sadly neglected. What a pleasant surprise it was to discover the amazing transformation that has taken place at the hands of the new owners. Improvements start with the cottages and extend to the well-stocked store and dock area. Ron and Julie go out of their way to look after you, and you'll find a lot of special little touches throughout the camp. My wife and I traveled to Ridgeview with another couple in June, renting 2 small cottages overlooking the lake. Good times were had by all and we look forward to the next opportunity to find our way back to Ridgeview.

Ridgeview is now under the new ownership of Ron and Julie Tufts, and what a difference they have made. The cottages have been given a badly needed sprucing up, maintenance is constant, and as a result, the place is clean, bright, and very friendly. This is no five star luxury accommodation , but for family friendly accommodation with fishing on one of the best fishing lakes in Ontario right outside the door, it cannot be beaten. We stayed in Scenicview Cottage, which is really a two story home with a large deck overlooking the lake, easily accommodating eight. The kitchen was very well supplied, the place immaculately clean, and even a new barbecue awaited us on the deck. The welcoming drinks in the fridge were an added bonus. We will definitely be back.

We stayed for 7 days, and the new owners, Ron and Julie, were very accommodating. They are investing heavily in the property and making many improvements. Our cabin was clean, roomy, and everything worked. Any request we had of Ron and Julie was made with a smile. I highly recommend it.

For many years Ridgeview Cottages were the place for our vacation. If you look for a very quiet
place on a lake and friendly management- welcome to Ridgeview Cottages. Good fishing from
boat or from shore.

An amazing little find in rice lake. Ron and Julie, the resort owners, are the kindest, most accommodating proprietors you could ask for. The view is great, and there is a quaint little beach on the property, which was a pleasant surprise.

Ron and Julie, what a fabulous place you have on Rice Lake! I know a lot of hard work went into making it such a great place. Ridgeview is the best fishing facility that we SNAGer's have ever experienced in our long and storied history. I trust many other Canadians and Americans will discover not only your accommodations but also the level of service that you and Julie provide. The Tufts are the friendliest and most generous people in the business. See you both next year!

Hospitality, Hospitality, Hospitality. Ron and Julie are fabulous hosts; they can't do enough to ensure your getaway is fantastic. Swimming, boating, reading - it's all there for you to enjoy. Our cottage was spotless but rustic. It's a cottage. It has a hot shower and a complete kitchen (not to mention wonderful views of the lake). If you want a warm welcome - very unusual these days - and a place to unwind - go see Ron and Julie. You'll leave refreshed and at peace.

Fantastic weekend. Great cottage with everything we needed. Used 2 of the fishing boats. They were clean, gassed and warmed up ready the go each day. Nice size dock for lounging. Great owners. Super friendly.

I stayed at Ridgeview in Late May early June 2015 and am looking forward to June 2016 when I plan to return. Our group of six stayed in the largest cottage. Accommodations were comfortable. The owners are wonderful hosts. The dock facilities are perfect. Ongoing improvements in facilities will make the property even better. Everything in the cottage was as expected. The property is quiet and lake access was good. Good time had by all.
