Our Superior Sea View room had a wonderful private balcony on the top floor. Brick walls on three sides. Room looked like an attic in photos, yet was spacious with high enough ceilings. New elevator coming this summer. Breakfast was adequate, lots of breads, cakes, rolls, plus cheese, eggs. You can order espresso drinks or use the auto machine. Tourist office in Alassio told us to call/email hotels direct for better prices than online. Lovely family run hotel with classy clientele. Everyone on beach changes into dry bathing suits, in cabanas, after a swim. WOW. Bring your elegant swimwear. You can order food + drinks to your beach chair. I love the neighborhood. Full of fine places to eat, all price ranges.

Family run hotel in a 1920's building. Alassio is not cheap but this was definitely worth our money. We stayed at the Hotel Lido for the 2nd year in a row. We -a couple with 2 children aged 13- had a large suite with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Lots of space, very clean, nice bedding. The hotel has a good restaurant with a small and cosy terrace on the beachfront. There is a private beach which is very well kept. Lovely staff, excellent service, everyone was very helpful.

We stayed in this charming hotel and were bowled over by the care and professionalism of the staff and the quality of the lunchtime menu. We sat on the beautiful terrace overlooking the beach and enjoyed many dishes all of high quality. The pasta dishes deserve a special mention as do the staff.

Alassio is a pearl and so is the Hotel Lido. Amazingly nice, friendly and professional staff. The rooms are superb. Clean, airy, comfortable and aesthetic. The hotel is situated in a more residential area and just a few minutes from everything. With the bikes one can use for free it is a blast to take off and visit the harbor or just see the other side of town. Will be back for sure.

High expectations will often lead to dissapointments .Had a lunch at the lovley beach terrace -but dry overcooked mussels gave us a bad start . Got a nice room 406 at topfloor until we realised that the corridor outside room served as a cleaning utility cupboard ..with noisy activites early mornings .Tried to get to room via elevator which was constantly occupied luggage and people waiting at each floor for their turn .
The former glory and friendly service just dissapeared .

Small boutique hotel in Alassio. Front line beach. We stayed 5 nights to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Executive sea view rooms recommended. Clean, nicely decorated with amazing vistas. Very relaxing hearing the sea lap up on the shore while going to sleep. Friendly, courteous, helpful staff on reception. Enjoyable breakfast with a well positioned seating area almost on the beach. Off street valet parking for an additional charge. Overall, good value and a very pleasant experience. Recommended! We certainly will be returning.

Just returned from 5 nights in Hotel Lido in Alassio which has been possibly the best relaxing break I have ever had! Hotel Lido is a 3 star hotel, in front of the beach in a beautiful part of Alassio.
We were really impressed with the hotel, both with our room which was large, and a smart and large bathroom - both cleaned daily and immaculate. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and made everything very easy.
When we return to Alassio at some point we will definitely stay in this hotel again.
There is a church bell next door which does go a bit bonkers at times - but not before 8am and stops after about 9pm - so no real problem!! Quite surprised that this hotel hasn't been listed before - but please keep it quiet as we might not get booked in next time!

THE ROOM
Our room was renovated not long ago, since the furnishing and design were new and mordern. There is no carpet, the bed was comfortable and there was enough space for our luggage. The bathroom was nice too. We were on the third floor and had a room with lateral sea view and a small balcony. It was facing towards the church wich appeared to be the sunny side of the hotel. The room was very clean and really nice.

THE EXTERIOR
The Lido Alassio made a very good appearance. The breakfast room is facing the sea, the staff is friendly and the hotel itself is well maintained. It is located right at the beach and therefore this part of the beach is non-public. Deckchairs and sunshades have to be purchased extra, even as hotelguests. The beach is sandy and very clean. The water is cristal blue and turquoise. To the centre of Alassio, where you'll find a lot of romantic and authentic italian restaurants, bars and shops, it takes only a few minutes walk. Big plus: the hotel has its own parking, which is worth a lot given that it's not common there.

THE OCCASION
We stayed 4 nights at the Lido Alassio for a short summer vacation in August 2013. As we had a car we did a daytrip to Monaco which was a perfect change to the beachdays.

OUR RECOMMENDATION
We loved Alassio and we loved our stay in this Hotel. It was definitely worth it to get a room with seaview, even tough it was only lateral. We'd book this Hotel again anytime!

Nice hotel in a quiet location by a beatiful, well kept own beach. The hotel is quite average itself, but the extremely friendly and nice staff make your holiday special. Ask for a room with a sea view - it is amazing! Negative things: poor soundproof in rooms and food in hotel restaurant is fine, but nothing special. Breakfast is nice.
