Amazing!! Big sites facilities spotless!! A must for families or just couples. I stay her a few times every summer and always enjoy the water and amazing bike paths that go for miles. Everyone very helpful with any questions. As a bonus you receive 2 passes to upper Canada village an easy bike ride away a fun way to spend your day. They even have beaver tails there!❤️❤️

Room Tip: Some of the sites are very steep along the far road on the left. Other then that truly beautiful.

Good location for access to bike paths along the St. Lawrence River. Some sites it is difficult to level a 37ft motor home. Park staff were unable to offer any support by providing leveling planks. Fair bit of shade except for the locations which have 3 services.

We visited the last week of September for 9 nights. We required a campsite with full hookups and this appears to be the only one in the St. Lawrence Parks System but when we got there we found not only the full hookups but they also have Wi Fi which was not mentioned on there website and was a big bonus in our books.
The campsites are large but very open with few trees. The park basically is an island in the St.Lawrence connected to the shore by a causeway which means you are are off the road but also the park is very wind swept. Many of the campsites have views over the river.
There is a nice little beach but the weather was to cool to go in the water so I do not know how the swimming is. There does not appear to be strong currents around the island which could be a problem in a river.
There is a very nice paved bike path which passes the entrance to the park and takes you through wetlands areas with lots of birds. The trail eventually leaves to the Migratory Birds Park and possibly to Upper Canada Village. It also runs the opposite direction but in that direction I believe you have to ride on the road in places.
The town of Ingleside is 1 minute away once you get out to the main road which has most necessary services.
It is not a northern provincial park but overall I would pick a park like this over a KOA if you need a full service R/V site.

This place was gorgeous! We showed up to the office for check in and staff was so friendly and helpful. The prices are right and the site was perfect. Bathrooms are kept nice and clean. Grass was nicely cut, flat and site was near the Saint Lawrence River with a perfect view. Everything was perfect!

We stayed here from September 8th to the 18th. We chose this campground because it had full hookups and wifi. I wasn't expecting much with the wifi but was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. The sites are very open with little trees, but that didn't bother us as our neighbours to one side were the friends we were travelling with. We had a great view of the St. Lawrence River. I didn't check out the washroom facilities but our friends said they were fine. We really enjoyed photographing the birds along the shore. Extra bonus for us was the free tickets we were given to Upper Canada Village! Yes, we used them and enjoyed our visit. The only down was the condition of the road into the park for the first part of the week. The speed posted is 10 km...the condition of the road didn't allow you to go faster than that! Thankfully they finally grated the road about mid week. We would definitely return to this park.

We camped at Farran Park under St. Lawrence parks. We loved the large open campsite and was great for the dog. The bikes paths were great! You can ride to Upper Canada Village in Morrisburg or ride along long Sault parkway in the other direction. Lovely places to fish or for the dog to take a quick dip in the water. Bathrooms looked new and clean. Overall a very serene weekend.

Nice clean quiet RV campground. Beautiful view of the St. Lawrence. Nice big beach. Canadian goose how much more Canadian than that.. close to Ingleside and if its a bigger town you need about 20 to 25 mins from Cornwall

My husband and I rented the Aspen Cabin beside two others in Farran Park for eight nights. The first weekend we arrived from Alberta the other two cabins were rented over the August long weekend to a large church group and the following weekend the two cabins were rented to a group of young couples. This area appeared to us to be more of a group camping area during weekends and families during the week. The website indicates otherwise and this was addressed with staff. The amenities were clean and park sites for tents and trailers a good size.

We stayed here for one night on a cycling tour in July on a weekday. There was ampe space available and the tenting sites (not on the waterfront) were HUGE! We had 3 tents and still had more then enough space. The facilities were clean.
Maybe 2 very minor things. The picnic tables had an odd cover on them. And we did not find any common sink for doing dishes which would have been nice.
