Les chambres sont grandes. Le lit est très confortable. Tout est moderne, peut-être trop compte-tenu de l'historique de l'endroit. Il aurait été bien d'avoir conservé un peu du cachet d'antan soit par des accessoires ou de la décoration appropriés. La douche est spacieuse. Il manque d'endroit ou déposer ses objets de toilettes dans la salle de bain. Peut-être qu'en ajoutant une petite table... Aussi dans la chambre, ce serait bien d'avoir une deuxième chaise. Nous avions un frigo mais nos amis n'en avaient pas. Ce serait bien d'uniformiser l'équipement. J'ai aussi noté que l'insonorisation était déficiente. Heureusement, nous y sommes allés en semaine!

Endroit propre, decor epurė et agréable. Wifi trop faible pour la demande. Lit assez ferme. Le plus gros inconvénient, ce sont les portes en carton. On entend.tout!!! Ne.racontez pas de secret dans.les murs sinon ils pourrong etre entendu! Sinon c'est bien!

L'Auberge Old Mill site has recently been rejuvenated, mostly the bar and fine dining on the weekends, and the new owners have also renovated the Auberge aspect with Modern rooms to rent. Our room had an ensuite bathroom..minus the bath but with the best showers ever! And with local bath products that were superb (Oneka).
The bar was closed when we stayed on a Tuesday, but the Auberge side had a lovely bed and an efficient window airconditioning unit, so we had an excellent night's rest. Remember, this is in the country, so don't expect all mod cons, but there was wifi. Breakfast is at the Cafe Rouge in the adjoining town was served by very pleasant folks.
The well groomed grounds in summer are particularly fun as you can sit by the river and watch the Old Mill wheel turn and the birds swoop by. Stanbridge East is equally picturesque in the autumn and winter. Amazingly relaxing!

Belle ambiance, belle place, la bouffe est correcte mais le service est mauvais. Nous n’avons pas revu la serveuse pour le café et le dessert. La table à côté de nous a du se lever pour obtenir le poivre et son verre de vin qu’ils avaient commandé. Réponse de la gérante quand nous avons souligné le manque de service: c’est normal tout le monde arrive et part en même temps... ok... considérant cette réponse, ce fut notre première et notre dernière visite!
