When ever we head East we stay here going and coming back. Rooms are exceptionally clean, view is beautiful and the home cooking by Maria is exceptional. All social distancing was followed. Since we have been here previously we were allowed to stay during this Covid time.

Eldorado Beachhouse is no 5 star hotel however, your stay will be absolutely delightful. The home may be dated but was very neat and clean. The shores of Lake Superior are 50 yards from your door with a private jetty to relax on. The beds were comfortable and the washrooms very clean.
The host Maria is very eclectic and a delight to spend time with, invite her to sit and have tea with you to hear the wonderful history of the area as well as a current travelogue.
Maria's breakfasts were not only healthy and substantial but were different and very tasty.
We will definitely staty with Maria again the next time we are through.

great welcome, first thing maria did was to make us a cup of tea, the way to an english man's heart,. the rooms where spotless as was the rest of the house. great views of lake superior, you can sit at the bottom of the garden in the evening by the lake and if you are quite you might see the otters maria is a character, in the nicest possible way ,we centennially enjoyed her company.

This B&B is the house the owners built and where they raised their family. It's 1960's or so era split level re-purposed, not remodeled, as a B&B.
It has only 3 bedrooms for rent and depending on how she feels she may only rent 1 at a time. There are several very old pieces of furniture that came with Maria from Austria and the home is full of personal mementos. It truly is like staying with someone in their home, not renting a room in a commercial establishment. The breakfasts are incredible multi-course experiences and so good that it's almost impossible not to eat every bite of it. They really did keep me full until dinner time. The property does abut Lake Superior with a view across the water to Sleeping Giant Provincial Park.
Maria, the owner, is as uniquely charming as her B&B. She's a wealth of information on the area and it's politics. I really enjoyed my stay here.

I will add my voice to the accolades! Excellent place to stay on your travels. The large ensuite room is exceptionally nice and the stillness at night is wonderful. A lovely spot right on the shores of Lake Superior in a very beautiful part of the country. Fantastic three course breakfast that set us on our way in fine style. Can't ask much more of a B&B!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this Bed and Breakfast. Maria is truly delightful! The rooms are neat, clean and comfortable. The sounds of Lake Superior right outside of our window made for a great night's sleep. Maria was so helpful about suggesting places we should visit during our stay. The area is beautiful. The breakfast was fabulous each morning. We would definitely stay here again.

this is a great place to stay if you're going to Sleeping Giant park. Rooms are neat and very clean, and Maria goes out of her way to make it a good visit for you. Food is very good, but breakfasts were huge, more than I could possibly eat. Priced v reasonable. I repeat what many other reviews wrote-- stay here, skip motels in Thunder Bay. This is a charming B & B

We are so happy to have stayed with Maria at this B&B that's well outside of the city and so close to Sleeping Giant Park, an amazing destination for nature lovers. We absolutely loved it here. Maria is a generous and kind host with whom we had lots to talk about. Our room was just right and we woke up to an amazing and amazingly filling breakfast with hot coffee. She's a great chef! Thanks so much for everything!

You will never find a better host than Maria and her European breakfast is a work of art. We've stayed there six times and will stay there again. With the improved road it's a short drive into Thunder Bay. As an added bonus, she's dog friendly. I've never been to Germany but Eldorado beach is an excellent substitute.
