We stayed here for 5 nights and were very impressed. The staff were all friendly, polite and helpful. Our room overlooked the square and soundproofing was very good. Housekeeping was good and kept the room clean and ensured the soaps, shampoo and shower jels were well stocked. Breakfast in Umami was superb and had a full selection of hot and cold food. A complimentary glass of port in the small bar area was a nice touch. As we arrived early they kept our cases & coats for us and when we returned they had been taken to our room and our coats hung up. I would definitely stay here again if we returned to Porto.

Extraordinary room, full-featured and quiet. Honestly, there’s nothing I could possibly complain about. We really enjoyed our stay here and everything was comfortable, convenient and well serviced. Staff proved to be nice and helpful and the location is very, very convenient, at walking distances from many lovely bars and restaurants and the subway station is basically across the street.

We were pleasantly greeted and checked in and then taken to our room where we received an explanation of the various elements of the room such as the electric controlled blinds and the heating system.
The weather in Porto has been extremely wet as of late so it was and welcomed surprise to find a complimentary umbrella available in the room.
Breakfast in the connecting restaurant was well thought out and managed by welcoming staff.
We had a great stay and would stay again. Thank you!

A nice surprise of a hotel. We booked it randomly & on arrival were greeted by very helpful & pleasant staff. The rooms have a modern twist to them. They were clean & while not huge, provided plenty of space. The bathroom was extremely well laid out. The location is just out of the main tourist area so quiet but handy. Everything was in relatively easy walking distance. Car parking is not provided however the hotel does give you discounted access to a near by car park building. Breakfast was good and the complimentary glasses of port that night were appreciated.

Very comfortable spacious room,with a fridge included.
Tea and coffee making in room.
Very comfortable bed and pillows.
Large bathroom with great shower.
Ample sockets in room with usb point.
Staff were absolutely brilliant, very professional, friendly and helpful.
The breakfast which we had had on two occasions was not good.
The hot options were generally cold, nothing worse than cold fried egg or cold beans.
The girl with tattoos in the restaurant was however, trying her best and was always very pleasant and very professional in contrast to the other girl who worked there who couldn't be bothered.
Avoid the breakfast but not the hotel.

Great location, clean (and very) spacious rooms and attentive welcoming staff. We received 2 complementary glasses of Port at the lounge bar next to reception and were given some great tips for exploring this incredible city.
The room was a little pricey but we still feel it offered good value.

Had a 3 night stay at this Hotel which was a recommendation from a friend. It did not disappoint, stylish decor, great shower, very clean. Hugo showed us to our room and explained how various things worked which was a great touch. There was also an umbrella in case of rain, which we did need! Breakfast was good, may have been easier if tea/coffee were served to us. All in all a great stay, made better by fantastic staff, will definitely return.

The hotel is in a great location in the centre of Porto. The suite I booked for a long weekend break was disappointing as the lounge area had no natural light and a hard sofa bed to sit on. We ended up sitting on the bed which was in the sleeping area with a view over Aliados avenue. I wouldn't recommend a suite. Breakfast was very self service. At this end of the market I expect more.

I really liked the location and the room. The room was very spacious, quiet and comfortable. The hotel also has really good breakfast. I will definitely stay there again when visiting Porto. It was everything I needed for comfort and more. There are two metro stops within 5 mins walking.

Great location, nice front desk staff, always with a smile ready to help out , very clean and big rooms, centrally located close to major points of interest. The only thing needs improvement is the staff at breakfast. One additional plus: I arrived before check in time and was able to get a room.
