Average campground with minimal amenities. Very friendly service, Janice was so helpful. Campground itself is dated with a lot of older seasonal trailers - many of which are not kept in good shape. Our sites were very open and had no privacy, no big deal as we were in a group but would have been disappointing if we didn't know our neighbors. Our sites were also closer to the road (many were) which wasn't too busy, but people were driving very fast down that road so had to be cautious crossing to get to the beach! Minimal amenities. No swimming pool, no store on site, and no laundry or wifi so we had to go into town a few times (no cell service either, although you could sometimes get a weak signal at the beach). Basketball court was dirt and not in good shape. No garbage pick up at site and no firewood delivery, had to carry the large bags to our site. No sewers - and pump out service was limited to Monday's only. Beach was across the road and very narrow, not what we expected, maybe because water levels were high. No area for the kids to go fishing, and no fishing allowed on the dock, even though their website advertises fishing?!? Dump station is on passenger side on the way out, so for a large RV it was difficult to access and turn around. The campground is in a good location for touring around the area - although we had trouble finding it (need to turn right at Marble Lake Lodge which wasn't clear on the sign). We drove into Bon echo for a day trip which was beautiful as always, only 15 minutes away.

after enjoying the park occasionally we decided to become seasonal residence. the park is well run super clean , quiet friendly and a great value. It is across the road from a small but beautiful lake excellent for fishing swimming and boating. the owners are sticklers for rules so if you can't handle that it is not a place for you.

After finding The Loon's Call online seven years ago, we decided to give it a try. As avid campers, my wife and I love the outdoors and we've camped in many different locations. The Loon's Call was one of our favourites ever - so much so that after a couple of years tenting and a couple of years renting a cottage, we bought a trailer in 2013. We love the park, the peace and quiet, the activities, the beach and the friendly nature of everyone there, whether seasonal residents or transient. The price for the seasonal site can't be beat and Janice and her family are excellent owners. I highly recommend this park for tenting or trailering if you want to get away from it all in a beautiful park.

Our experience was not a very desirable one. Family vacation...turned disaster. Bathrooms were gross and lets not mention the outhouses. We had read reviews stating how great this place was however, after such, we won't be returning. If you're looking for fun for the whole family, keep looking. There aren't hardly any activities and the "so called beach" was just that. My children like to jump from the docks into the water as it was more shallow for them and were told by staff that they are not allowed to do so, as this was for those who's boat were there. We found that kinda tacky. Over our site, we also noticed a few limbs that could use tending to. Seems that safety isn't much of an issue there if you look around at the number of trees that should be taken care of. Surprised to see so many seasonal sites....not sure what they see here. The staff were uptight and didn't seem at all interested in owning a park. I would suggest they find a new "dream".

We are genuinely disappointed that you did not enjoy your vacation. In the interest of fair disclosure and to be fair to us, we feel that it should have been disclosed that you were asked to leave as a result of violation of our quiet hour policy. We recognize that each person prefers to enjoy their time away in their own way, and so, we always explain these policies both when you book and when you arrive in an effort to ensure you will enjoy your stay with us. We take pride both in our customer service and the continuing investment we have made in our facilities and we appreciate, with thanks, the growing number of campers that have chosen to spend their downtime with us.

I had originally booked a cottage for a one week stay, however we got sick and couldn't stay the full week. Janice was extremely accommodating and helpful and looked after everything wonderfully!

The cottage was very clean, the water excellent, the campground has great facilities and play structures for the kids, and it is kept very clean by Janice and her family. As the title says, I'd recommend Loon's Call to anyone!

I am a tad biased as I have a seasonal trailer located at this campground. Janice and her Team provide a well run and cared for family campground. Facilities and the most important "Johnny-on-the Spot" are clean and hygienic. Janice and Team are very aware of vehicle speed through the campground, garbage collection and have an 11pm curfew for loud noise and music again another plus for family friendly, My only dislike is the loud music from inconsiderate campers during the day - however a small inconvenience. The location is great; Marble Lake is shallow, clear and family friendly. There is a small beach and Loons Call has a boat dock. The surroundings are picturesque and trails great for 4x4 off-roading or a walk with the dog! Looking forward to another wonderful summer season.

I have been going to this campsite for a few years in a row now. Great amenities. You can rent a cottage, pitch a tent, bring a trailer. Lake access. Overall, I find it a great place! There's a reason we come every year...

My friends parents owned a trailer here.. we visited from time to time.. as my inlaws are at the trailer park beside it. We stayed over one night. the owner is a crab apple.. Very rude... we were sitting around the fire one night and we felt someone watching us.. Low and behold it was the owner.. she was hiding in the shadow watching us. She told us we had to turn off our music... (it was 10) and it wasn't like it was loud.. just a small radio going. then about an hour later we felt her same prescents and then she told us we needed to shut down our fire and go to bed.. LIKE REALLY!? Needless to say this was the last time we stayed there.. I get it if we were being loud and disruptive.. but we were not..

This was a few years ago.. Since then I have bought a trailer at the camp ground beside . Twin Cedars.. Love that place.. Friendly people, (loons call wasn't) great activities for the kids.. and all around a relaxing and nice time. NO curfews per say... just let loose and have a good time kinda place.

Thank you for your feedback. Our goal is to provide a quiet family environment where our guests can enjoy the wonderful natural environment around them. We do have a quiet hour policy starting at 11 pm that is enforced. Of course, we do NOT "hide in the shadows" or otherwise spy on our guests. We fully understand that different people relax in different ways and we are glad that you have found a place that better suits your needs.

My husband and I along with our two Shih Tzu had a great time. Where else can you go and have curb side service as far as removing the black water from our trailer so we didn't have to move the trailer to the dump station? The owners and employees along with their children were very friendly and very helpful There was plenty to do for people with kids along with a beach to swim in and cool off.
We are looking forward to next year in August for an other two weeks ( wish it could be more )
