Highly recommend this hotel. We stayed in an Iconic view (Room 1005), which was a beautiful room with high ceilings and very spacious. Very well finished, spotlessly clean and modern. Daily room cleaning service was included and we had fresh towels every day. You also get vouchers left on the bed for 2 cocktails for €18 in the bar.
1 minute walk from Amsterdam Centraal train station and is a fantastic location as close to everything you come to Amsterdam for - bars, restaurants, shops and tourist attractions. It’s 1 minute walk to the tram stop.
The rooms are really quiet, we never heard neighbours and noise from outside is very minimal. The curtains are black out so you can get a very good nights sleep. Air con is also very good. Hairdryer included was very good!
There is a super-king sized bed. The pillows are duck down but you can request foam at reception. The staff were very friendly and helpful, you’re always greeted when coming or leaving the hotel.
Hotel security is very good. You have to scan your room key card to use the lifts to access rooms.
Only criticism is more hangers in the wardrobes would be handy, you only get about 5 but I bet they’d bring more if requested.
Stayed here twice already now, and when we next come back to Amsterdam I wouldn’t entertain trying anywhere else as it’s spot on here!

Went to amsterdam , for our easter family holiday and decided to use the artotel amsterdam. probably a very good decision.
Location
This is the best part of the hotel , its bang opposite the centraal station , the main travel hub , you can get trams , intercity trains , metro , trains across to london , paris and even a free ferry to across the waters.
Room
we stayed in room 2023 a suite with a art decor, there wasn't any view out of the window , as you have to be careful while booking and specify a '' ICONIC VIEW '' , which will give you a view of the centraal station and all the hustle bustle and a few of the amsterdam canals , though you will be paying extra for this.
Room itself was nicely done up , with couple of tv's and a big king sized bed , and a sofa bed as well.
Rain shower and all other normal amenities.
Food
We had our breakfast included and this was the only food which we had in the hotel , breakfast has a decent buffet as well you can order eggs on order.
Breakfast normally does a kind of alacarte which has avocado eggs and eggs benedict etc , but was strangely missing , as for some strange reason the hotel decided to take it off the menu , don't know why , but this was a big disappointment.
Service and front office
The staff that we met or who greeted us , or the chefs making us our breakfast , service staff , front office staff, couldn't have been more helpful.
Housekeeping
This is the only area which needs quite a lot of attention, in our 5 nights of stay, we literally walked into kind of a dirty room every day , where we had to tell the front office everyday to make sure to get our room cleaned , yet things didn't move.
Apart from a few glitches this was a perfect place to stay.
Thank you and hope to see you soon.

Art'otel is very centrally located, across from Centraal. Night desk staff Ayoub desired special mention on his hospitality and willingness to help. Having been traveling for more than a week, a bit sick of the hotel breakfast and Art'otel's breakfast did little to stimulate my tastebuds. Gym is spacious with decent equipment. Cocktails is average standard, nothing to shout about Housekeeping is average, several days failed to replenish complimentary bottled water A bit disappointing on the view, we booked for City view thinking that it would be facing the Centraal but instead it faced Martelaarsgracht side street. In addition, as our room is on the 1st floor right above the bar, we could hit the beats and the music late at night.

The hotel was good, clean and modern and staff were friendly too.
They stocked Elemis products (shampoo and conditioner only, no body lotion).
The bathroom was quite small and there was no tub, I’d prefer a tub but that’s preference.
My pillows was too high for my liking.
I did order room service and was sent a soggy burger bun which was not great and expensive for the quality I received.
On the whole Id stay again but not order room service and ask for alternative pillows.

I stayed in this hotel one night in the beginning of January prior to leaving on a trip from Schiphol and boy was I pleased with this choice. The hotel is very stylishly decorated and has cool decorative artefacts scattered throughout. I was greeted by extremely friendly and warm front of house staff. In fact I’ve never been welcomed like them before. You can tell they love their job and they are great at it. Same goes for the staff in the very cool hotel bar. Between 5 and 8 pm there are complimentary nibbles with your drinks in said bar so I took advantage of this fine little attention. The house negroni is bizarrely tasty as it is topped with lager. My room was on the 2nd floor and was spacious. It had everything I needed and was again tastefully decorated with cool lamps and a Marshall speaker on the bedside table. The bathroom is nice, however the rain shower needed descaling as the water sprayed everywhere and pressure was a little weak. The bed was one of the most comfy beds I have slept in. I also used the pool area during my stay. I loved the fact that it opened at 6am as I like to exercise before starting my day. The pool was perhaps slightly too small to swim laps but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Finally the location is very convenient as it lies at a stone’s throw from the central station and at a walking distance from the centre of town. Overall I had a great stay at this establishment. It proves once again why I prefer the radisson brand. I would definitely stay again.

The room is quite big, there was no water in the room, the mini bar was empty too, the coffee machine had no coffee, no water (yes I know you can drink a tap water here, but you expect some service for $500 room).
The breakfast is served in another hotel, the hotel has no restaurant, nothing.
The location is good, parking costs 55 EUR/day - we don’t recommend to have a car here.

This was a family break, which was bolted onto the back of a business trip, and the hotel was a delight. Upon arrival, I found that the guest bed hadn't been made up, but with one call to reception a pair of staff were sent to resolve it. The decor of the place is funky and quirky, but very pleasant. There is an art gallery in the floor below reception, with art items placed around the reception and restaurant area - it certainly provided talking points. The bar and restaurant are comfortable and well-attended with waiting staff, and the bonus of a DJ in the bar in the evenings who provides excellent music to go along with drinks and dinner.
The location is good, albeit in the middle of a lot of construction work when I stayed, but it was very convenient to everything, as well as being just across the road from Centraal station - excellent for the airport.
The food, atmosphere and comfort of the hotel were excellent. Unfortunately, we didn't have the opportunity to sample the pool and sauna facilities, but that's for a future visit. The reception staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful to a fault, and I won't hesitate to book it again.

Booked Art'otel for 3 nights. First night due to small explosion at nearby construction site, all guests were moved to sister-hotel Park Plaza which fades in comparison to Artotel. Happy that after all safety checks we were able to come back. The hotel managed this difficult situation very professionally and (even though it was not hotels fault) to improve customer experience they offered voucher for dinner in Park Plaza restaurant candelight dinner and complimentary breakfast . Was very pleased with such attention. Moreover, want to praise Thomas - front office employee, who was very helpful and attentive to our needs throughout the stay. The hotel itself is a work of art. Beautiful, grand and cozy. Most importantly - centrally located.

Our Stay at the Art'otel began very pleasantly. Front Desk staff every day at all times was kind, courteous and friendly. However we had multiple issues with our room during the stay. The most detrimental was the WIFI being unavailable for the majority of our stay. As foreign travelers, we were relying on that WIFI at our hotel to communicate, complete work, and inform us for our stay in amsterdam. Not having WIFI was very difficult. In addition, our room had a leak from the ceiling, which caused continuous dripping of water for over 12 hours. this water soaked through two towels and rendered the window side of the room unusable for baggage or the desk. Both the wifi issues and leak were attributed to the building being old. Lastly, when we finally were able to open the in room refrigerator, we were met with the smell of rotting food and found a previous guests leftover fruit well past the point of rotting inside. This made us question the level of clean of the entire space and really concerned us. Staff was excellent, Hotel lobby/bar were beautiful, but pretty much everything else was well below standards.
