Very nice hotel. Rooms a tad dated but very clean. Very small shower and hard to get the right temperature at times. Also sink only had cold water. Staff were very friendly and booked us taxis a couple of times which came within 5 minutes. Breakfast was good, small selection of cold cuts, eggs, bacon and pastries. One massive plus was that the hotel was within 5/10 minutes walk of all the attractions, but also just enough out of the way so there was little noise at night time. Would recommend for a short stay.

Nice hotel, near the bargello on via ghibillina. easy to get to, has a ramp to access with a wheelchair. staff were prompt and courteous. our room was the family suite and had 2 sets of stairs to access. we were told that the room was not accessible, but not why. we choose to keep it as it was easter weekend and did not want to be without a room. we made it work. the shower was quite nice and had 1 bed with 2 sleeper sofas. had a microwave, stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher, but no wine glasses? odd. has a rather nice included breakfast, and is quite easy to access various things in Florence. unfortunately, their bar is only open during special events, but there are plenty of places around to get a drink. I would definitely stay again, but would get a regular room. as for suggestions and improvements, I think they should include some wine glasses in the family suite and detail the stairs up to this room. as for people with accessibility issues, you can stay in any other room here quite easily and comfortably and I would recommend it.

The room was average with a comfortable bed and a bathroom that needed some upgrades. Front desk staff were fabulous and helpful, especially with letting car rental company know we’d be late to pick up our car. Breakfast had many options. The same every day.

We made an unexpected stop in Florence and decided on the Borghese Palace Art hotel as it seemed ideally located at an excellent price. The drive through the winding roads of Florence to get to the hotel was good fun where we drove to the private car park situated next to the hotel.
The hotel reception area/lounge is quirky where we were met by a friendly receptionist. He informed us we had been upgraded which was a lovely surprise. We found the room spacious and very comfortable, with a large window looking over the cobbled streets. The bed was very comfortable, there was a stocked fridge which we later learned was complimentary (a nice touch) and the shower was very nice if not a bit awkward to work.Overall the room was lovely.
We were a matter of minutes from the Centre of Florence so couldnt ask for more from a location perspective. Having lunched in the city, we returned to enjoy the hotel Spa which we had booked a time slot. We enquired into massages however at 90 euros each we opted against and proceeded on to the Spa. A gym area, relaxing loungers, sauna and jacussi met us with refreshing drinks laid out for us, it was a wonderful way to relax after shopping and lunch.
On the evening we requested a Iron and hair dryer which were all brought up promptly and we left for the evening. Unfortunately we left before breakfast, however the area looked very modern and it was a shame we didnt get to try the breakfast included. Overall I couldnt recommend highly enough and now that we live in Ferrara we will certainly be back and recommend to friends and family.

This hotel is in a great location but that is it's only saving grace. Check in was off hand and then one of the rooms we were given was wrong so we had to wait for the keys to the correct room. Our room had a twisted metal strip that came out of the floor that I stubbed my toe on, cracked sink, broken wc flush button, broken bidet, broken shower seal, missing curtains, dirty walls, dirty curtain cords that didn't work anyway. When we pointed out that it didn't match the 4 stars there was no apology. Stay elsewhere!! Anywhere else will top this. And enjoy the beauty of Florence.

I loved staying at this hotel!

The decor was beautiful, eclectic, with a touch of Italian charm further into the hotel. Even though I got to the hotel early before check in time, the sweet Italian gentleman at the front desk stored my luggage while I explored the city with friends. He was very wonderful and helpful making some recommendations on places to visit while in Firenze.

The hotel room was modern, good size, and I loved the layout. All of the staff was helpful, friendly, and professional. And thank you all for teaching me some Italian phrases which came in handy!

And the hotel is in a great location near the major sites, restaurants, and bars. It was a fabulous stay and when I return to Firenze I plan to stay there again. Thank you again for a wonderful stay!

The air conditioning in the room did not work, outside we had 36 degrees Celsius, the pillows were old and uncomfortable, only 2 electric outlets worked, one of the abat-jour did not have a switch and had to be unplugged. the decor is old and tired, the bathroom was set up for disabled for the WC but the shower was not accessible, the robe hook attached to a wall fell on my foot. when I tried to speak with the director, he was too busy relaxing on his Sunday afternoon to get to the phone.

Good morning, we are very pleased to know that you enjoyed your stay in Florence at the Borghese Palace Art. On behalf of the entire staff we would like to thank you for your much appreciated feedback. We also would like to apologize for the fact that the air conditioning in your room was not set to a temperature that matched your expectation. We have since improved the entire system, that was not designed for such high outside temperature as we have never experienced before. We would like to apologize as well for the only two power outlets that worked. We would be very honored to host you anew if you ever decide to visit Florence again. Our best wishes and regards. We were very happy with the reception staff and the location of the hotel. The duvet had brown stains on it and I had to give it to the cleaning lady who just shrugged! The bedroom curtains were filthy and broken. The wall socket was also so dirty I took a photo of it.The air conditioning was not working properly so the room at one stage was 29C All in all it fell far below our expectations

We visited the Borghese Gallery on October 21st, 2022 and cannot speak more highly of our tour guide, Agnesi Angelil (sp). After numerous guided tours around the globe, this young women engaged us in not only the artist and his/her work, but also the culture, times, myths, structure, history and the raw emotion portrayed. Her knowledge gave us new respect for the pieces and left us in awe of her love for and appreciation of the arts. We have never enjoyed a better overall tour and guide.

Absolutely disgusting! Mould in the bathroom, plastering falling off the wall, broken switches, noisy (doors and windows feel like they were not even there), poor breakfast and no response from management when I complained. I don’t know how this hotel gained 4*?! Worst experience ever and I travel a lot! Please avoid this hotel as it looks and feels nothing like what you see in the pictures on the website
