The H10 Palazzo Galla was a great hotel for me and my husband during our time in Rome. The hotel location was a huge plus, as it is walkable to most major attractions in the city’s center. We also found it helpful that the hotel is on a wide and busy street, which helps when trying to get a taxi or when getting dropped off by one. Another great perk of the hotel was the rooftop bar, with views that are hard to find elsewhere in the city. We stayed in two rooms during our time in Rome, which were both clean and spacious. The one reason that we wouldn’t give the hotel 5 stars is because of the room temperature. When we stayed on the ground floor the room was cooler (but the room location was not ideal), however, our first room was incredibly hot. We asked a staff member to come up to look at the air conditioning and we were told that it was already on the strongest setting. We stayed in the room for hours but it never cooled down. I would be hesitant to stay here in the summer when it gets much hotter because it was very hot in our first room. Otherwise, the stay was great!

The hotel is new and spotless, plus in the middle of EVERYTHING. Perfect for three guests and the rooftop was always breathtaking; never busy. After a day of hiking through ruins, a cocktail on the roof was a slice of Heaven. We are shower snobs and this was fantastic with excellent water pressure, lots of hot water (again, there are three of us) and tons of fluffy towels. The staff was cheerful and very welcoming. We had only a few minutes to check in (with a taxi waiting) and they jumped in to help with a smile. Could not have been happier!

We were greeted upon arrival with refreshments and the staff were very kind to show us all the landmarks around our hotel. The room was beautiful obviously as the hotel is new, the hotel is clean and ready for a fantastic stay. The rooftop is absolutely stunning (it over looks the main one that is used for influencers on Instagram/TikTok) , the drinks are a reasonable price and you can get great pictures up on the rooftop. In the room, you have complimentary water, hairdryer, shampoo conditioner body wash & a full amenities set. The staff even folded down the beds when we were out late one night having cocktails. This is fantastic service. The staff were very friendly and gave us recommendations for food nearby. Nothing was ever too much to ask . I will 100% stay here again. This is perfect if you want a great location to walk to every landmark in Rome. We even walked to the Vatican even although this was the furthest landmark away. If you were looking at this hotel do not hesitate to book. Thank you so much to all the staff and I cannot wait to be back.

Ill start by saying the hotel is really cute and well done. My husband surprised me with a night in rome (we live in Tuscany) and when we checked in the receptionists were very kind. We got to the room and there were pubic hairs on the toilet, hair in the sink, & 2 hairs on the bed. I am almost 7 months pregnant and had to use the restroom after a long drive, so I saw the pubic hairs and wiped them off with toilet paper so I could use the restroom quickly. Then a few minutes later I sat on the bed and that’s when I saw the hairs on the bed as well. It grossed me out so my husband and I decided to get ready to go out and we would tell the reception on the way out. We did just that and they were very kind. When we returned the receptionist told me “we cleaned up your room but we had noticed YOU had used the toilet & sat on the bed” implying that they were our hairs. That rubbed me the wrong way and I explained they were there before me but whatever. That night we didn’t sleep at all. It was so loud in the hallway and also on the street. Our room wasn’t even facing the Main Street, it was facing this little square that we saw maybe 2 people in the entire time, so I can’t imagine if we were on the Main Street. Very loud. Don’t even waste your money on the breakfast. Everything’s just frozen & reheated. The “avocado toast” was also very unappetizing. It’s unfortunate because we travel a ton and usually enjoy all of our stays around…but this hotel was unfortunately a dud with no customer service in existence.

Regarding your kind report about the cleanliness of your room, please note that our protocols are very strict and we have very high standards. In fact, after the maid's cleaning, our housekeeping manager gets inside the room for a final supervision. That is why our colleagues at the front desk were very surprised by your report. Nevertheless, we did our utmost to resolve the problem immediately. Concerning your report about the noise, it is normal that you feel a bit of noise of the city since we are in the heart of the Eternal City and for this reason, our windows, if left closed, have a strong sound-proofing capability. We are really sorry that our breakfast service was not to your liking but at the same time, we confirm you that it offers a large variety of fresh products of the highest quality; in addition to the cold buffet we offer many fresh and hot dishes a la carte available on request ( eggs, bacon, wurstel sausage, baked beans, mushrooms, omelettes, french toast, crepes & pancakes). This new hotel is perfectly positioned in the centre of Rome - only 5 minutes walk from Trevi, 10 minutes from the Pantheon and about 10 minutes from Colosseum. They have a (rather expensive) rooftop bar that offers stunning views of Rome and is well worth a visit. Our room was large (25 sq m) and beautifully decorated/furnished. The only quirk to mention was that we could not close the plug in the bathroom hand basin. Reception explained that this was a 'safety' feature as there was no overflow for the basin. This meant I had to leave water running while I shaved and also when we washed clothing. Not a very good idea from a conservation point of view, with a lot of waste water (perhaps it's recycled?) Breakfast was ok/good - usual cold selection plus what should be a 'hot' a la carte selection which, in our experience, was lukewarm when it reached us. Also on several days, when I asked for a second cup of coffee the waiters forgot it and after 10 minutes waiting I had to ask again. When we checked in the receptionist asked if our vacation was for some special reason. I told him the trip to italy was to celebrate a milestone birthday, to which he responded that the hotel would provide a 'surprise' present during our stay. This never materialised and it would have been better if he had not enquired/promised in the first place!! Overall a beautiful hotel in a brilliant location but service levels (especially in their price range) need some work.

We stayed at H10 for two nights. The location is unbeatable and the staff were very welcoming. We did not eat in the hotel so cannot comment on that.
Unfortunately there are still some teething problems as this hotel has only just opened. On our first night, we were unable to switch off a very bright light above a mirror. Having spent a few minutes trying all the switches in the room to no avail, we contacted the reception. We were told they would come back to us with a solution within a coupe of minutes. We were eventually told the light was sensored so to sit still in the hope it would go off. We knew this was not the case because the light had been on since we arrived earlier that day. We waited approx 30 minutes and eventually a staff member came to our room. They also tried to switch it off but of course couldn't. We asked if we could change room as it was now nearly midnight. Finally we were given a new room but this was only after an hour back and forth asking the hotel to find a solution. We weren't offered any assistance transferring our luggage to the new room which unfortunately was much much smaller than the one we were in. We were surprised that the following day no apology was offered by management. We still enjoyed our stay and the rooms were nicely decorated and quiet but we felt like this could have been dealt with more efficiently without wrongly asking us to sit still and wait for the light to go off. An food / drink voucher or even a discount on the rate we were paying would have been appreciated but was not forthcoming.

My wife and I stayed at this location 3 days after the hotel opened. The staff are extremely polite and helpful. We had planned to move hotels half way through our vacation but decided to stay at this location because it was so nice. The location is fantastic. Very close to all the patios and tourist attractions. Just a short walk - under 15 min walk to everything. The rooms are very nice and modern. Their rooftop patio is great with bar service. We actually bough a bottle of wine every night to enjoy on the rooftop patio. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so pleasant.
They only thing they could improve is to mention on their website that they can arrange airport transfer (at a very reasonable cost) for you. We booked a limo transfer on our own and found out later that they offer the same service (cheaper).

We have just finished a 4 night stay in the Superior Room and everything about it was amazing. From check in to every single morning and evening when we were in the lobby, we were greeted by incredible staff who were always more than happy to answer our questions or provide recommendations.
The room was very well thought out, had luxurious bath amenities and the bed and pillows were so comfy. The room was incredible spacious and very clean.
The location of the hotel was perfectly central to all sightseeing attractions. We walked everywhere and maximum it would take us 20 mins walk.
Although the rooms were on the pricier side at roughly $800 AUD per night, I thought it was completely worth it. Highly recommend this hotel and when we come back to Rome will definitely be staying here!

Myself and my husband visited this hotel in November for my husbands 40th birthday. We was greeted warmly and offered a drink when we checked in. The room we were allocated was small but perfectly formed, clean and decorated beautifully. The bathroom was particularly lovely.
I booked bed and breakfast and the breakfast was good with a good variety, was it worthy of the price tag, I am not sure, but it was convenient.
The location of the hotel was really excellent and we was able to walk all over Rome, we used the metro a few times which was easy to use and very cheap.
James behind the bar was really friendly and accommodating, and made my husband the best old fashioned cocktail he had ever had, he took great care over his work.
If I had to have a little niggle about one thing it was the fact I emailed the hotel to let them know we would be visiting from my husband’s 40th birthday and this was not
mentioned, which was slightly disappointing.
Overall the hotel was lovely, clean and the staff very friendly, all the amenities, fixtures and fittings in the hotel were of a high standard, and if we visit Rome again we would defiantly stop here.

Lovely boutique hotel in the centre of Rome. We stayed in the loft room. Very comfortable room. The shutters and windows were able to be opened for fresh air. Immaculately clean. Staff were very helpful especially as this was our first trip to Italy. Central to Trevi fountain, colosseum and parthenon. Lovely restaurants for dinner nearby. Breakfasts were 25 euro per head cheaper if purchased online.
We are returning in a few days to this hotel prior to flying out.

Breakfast is amazing, cooked to order
Yes, you can. We arrived after an overnight flight and left our bags there while we visited the local sites. There is so much so close to the hotel. We were really exhausted and came back by 2:30. They would not give us a room until a little after 3:00. I guess the room was not ready until check-in time. Makes sense. By the way, at check-in, they give you a glass of prosecco while you wait on the couch before going to the desk. Pretty classy!
