The hotel's interiors, attended to in their details and made precious by the courteous ambience provided by its staff, make of the Palladium Palace one of the most successful 4 star hotels in Rome.A magnificent late 19th century edifice houses the hotel's interiors, with its (24 hr) reception adorned in classic style. All our rooms are carpet-free. The common areas in the Palladium Palace are embellished with refined details, such as findings of ancient fragments of roman marble friezes. the hotel features lobby, bar (always open), and the breakfast hall with its American style buffet (serving sweet and savory offerings). The hotel provides a gym and a sauna, for those who want to keep fit during their stay. The Palladium Palace's most spectacular feature is its rooftop, with a terrace on the last floor of the building, overlooking the rooftops and cupolas of Rome, where the hotel's guests can enjoy the privilege of having breakfast or spending their relaxing moments in good company

I didn't realise how close this was to the Roma Termini station, as soon as you come from the Leonardo Express train from Fiumicino Airport; it's a 4/5 minute walk to the hotel! The staff on the front desk speak good English and they'll make checking in easy for any traveller! In a fairly central location with a 20 minute walk to the Colosseum and a 30 minute walk to the Trevi Fountain, it's surprising that this 4 star is being offered at such a small price!

The breakfast on the rooftop is comprehensive and is typical of standard continental breakfasts in the rest of Europe, there was a language barrier when ordering food as it's table service only, I ordered pancakes and croissants but I received toast and a pie. The room itself is cosy and filled with facilities but you don't get a very good view of the city even if you're on the floor below the roof, and to mention that the bed wasn't too particularly comfortable however you've got no problems with a quiet room and good Wi-Fi and TV reception in the room!

The city tax is 6 euros per person per night and it's billed at the end of your stay. A very nice hotel that's good on a budget, if you've travelled from outside of Lazio and you need a place to stay that's near the station yet is comfortable, look no further!

The hotel is located very near to the Termini Station with easy access to most locations in Rome.

The rooms have a bit of old-style charm and are spacious and comfortable, especially when travelling with multiple family members.

The buffet breakfast at the top floor offers a wide variety of good-quality items, and is truly a highlight at this hotel.

The service staff is friendly and attentive, and will rush to your aid when experiencing any difficulties. The cleaning staff helped us when we were having issues with the key, and the desk staff helped us change to a different room without any questions asked. Truly very friendly.

The hotel is situated in a convenient location for Termini station where the fast train from the airport arrives: less than 5 minutes walk directly opposite the station. Be aware this area can seem "gritty" if you arrive late at night. We enjoyed the rooftop breakfast room and bar, where we spent a pleasant evening. The room is spacious and clean: the bed was comfortable, and although we faced the busy street, there was no noise. There were all the amenities we needed in the bathroom including shower caps, soap, shampoo etc, and there was a safe in the bedroom. The staff were very helpful.

The good:
Very clean. Room got cleaned everyday which is great. Saw the staff clean and vacuum the halls
and stairs all the time.
Towels changed everyday.
Bathroom felt very fresh and we had no problems with shower or hairdryer what so ever.
Our standard double room had small cabinets with hangers where we could hang coats.
Location is 10/10, metro is near and easy to use.
Beautiful view from the rooftop! Make sure to go and have a look at night time.
Easy check in and out. Staff was very friendly.

The "less good":
The bed was a little sunken in in the middle but it didn't bother us.
Room felt a little humid and warm after a whole day with the window closed but it was easily fixed by leaving the window open for a while.
Room felt a little bit cramped.
Only one small garbage bin which was in the bathroom, would be good to have one more/bigger one.

The staff were really friendly and made sure everyone had a great Great location and beautiful hotel. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room is modern with digital touchscreen to manage heat/air, do not disturb/clean room. The classic room and heated bathroom were really nice touches. Bathroom was spacious. Bed was soft and warm. Would stay again!

Reception staff : strong point of the hotel , they are a credit to the Palladium Palace Hotel. It is staffed 24 hours. We had the pleasure of interacting with the 2 male reception staff during our stay on the 8th and 9th of July, both of whom were incredibly friendly. Our accommodations, which included two double deluxe rooms and one single room, were immaculate and clean. The double rooms appeared to have been recently renovated, featuring stunning marble tiles that added a touch of elegance to the rooms and air-con for a comfortable stay. The toiletries provided were high quality. Lovely touch of complimentary bottled water in the fridge, much appreciated. Complimentary water available within reception along with a small bar. My partner loved the Espresso, he would recommend the Espresso there. There are a good range of eateries within the immediate vicinity of the hotel, but would suggest staying within the hotel surroundings rather than north towards Termini especially at night. Location of hotel is good, the colosseum is within walking distance. There is a good viewpoint on the roof terrace. I would recommend this hotel and would return.

We stayed at this hotel as a family of four (2 adults, 2 children 9 and 12). It was well located close to the metro and bus stations. There are also lots of shops and restaurants close by and the Colosseum within walking distance. Staff are extremely helpful and will help you navigate where you want to go. The bus and train services are economical and tickets can be bought from the tobacconist across the road from the hotel.
The photos did not do the room justice as it was modern, very clean and well suited to our needs with a double bed and two single beds for the children. Toiletries were provided and the bathroom was a good size. There was an option for breakfast but we didn’t include it as there are so many places in the vicinity. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel as great place to stay when visiting Rome which is spectacular.

From the look of it when looking at the pictures and Google Maps it does'nt look as much. But that is quite the contrary.
The hotel is very good located if you want to take the Leonardo Express from Rom-Fiumicinos Airport (Leonardo da Vinci International Airport).
Takes 5 minutes to walk from Roma Termini to the hotel and it is in a busy area, so you can get easy directions from locals.

Very good hotel overall to be visiting the tourist attractions since it's not far away from the Pantheon, Fonti the Trevi, Termini Metro so you can go to the Vatican by Metro.

We booked 2 double rooms including breakfast, the rooms was clean, bathroom top notch and the bed very comfortable. They cleaned the rooms every day and it felt like a new room every day.
The only thing to be nick picky about is that you hear alot thru the walls, but the main problem is probably the doors, they need to be insulated to keep out that people are arriving or leaving their hotel rooms.

Breakfast now in the hopefully ending of the pandemic was above my expectations, the rooftop resturant was closed so we had to go down to the bar, pickup a bag, get a kaffe/cappuchino/americano, a pastry, (Croissaint Crema, very nice)

We had some bumps in the road that would lower the service, but they can always redeem it next time, have'nt experinced another 4 star Hotel in Italy so far, so I'm going on the satisfaction on the standard.

DONT forget that there is a TAX for each night your staying in Roma.
We knew it, so no problem for us and the staff was reliefed, but it seem's to chock most tourists when checking out.

Will book a room here if I stay in Roma.

The Palladium Palace is in a fantastic location, close to the termni and only a 20 min walk to the colosseum. The hotel it's self is clean and the staff are really friendly. However the rooms are small, very dated and a little damp smelling. The beds are also really uncomfortable and the air con could do with a massive upgrade as it struggled to cope with the heat. The mini fridge in the room would have been better used as a cupboard (space was very limited). The fridge only worked when you was in the room and the air con was on. Nothing like coming back to a warm bottle of water.
The breakfast was ok and the rooftop terrace was nice enough. The bar of an evening is cash only or you can charge it to your room. Overall I would not class this as a 4 * hotel, more like 3*. We enjoyed our time there but mainly due to it's location. I would not choose to stay at this hotel again as there is better around.

My room had old world charm, was small, but exceptionally clean and well appointed. The hotel is very well maintained and spotless. The bathroom was newly remodeled and clean. The free breakfast buffet was exceptional with a very large selection of food both Italian and a few to cater to tourists like pancakes. The location was a 20-minute walk to the coliseum and close to Termini Station if you use public transportation. I felt very safe walking alone at night and found some lovely authentic restaurants within a few blocks of the hotel.

Actually the main railway(Teemini) station would be 5-7 minutes walk in a straight line from the Palladium hotel. Ask reception for directions if needs be. You can get a train either direct express to the airport (more expensive) or get the normal regional train which is quite cheap but will take longer. Just google "getting to and from Rome's main airport" and you will get all the information you need.

How much is the metro from FCO airport to the hotel please?

We used the Metro most days using a period ticket, e.g. 48 hours etc, which was something like E20 but I'm not sure now. We travelled to and from the Airport using 'Holiday Taxis' which I'd booked in advance and don't remember the cost, sorry again. Be careful of pickpockets on the metro we had trouble twice.
