While reviews on the hotel's value and room decor vary, the cleanliness of the establishment consistently earns praise, with many describing the accommodations as spotless. Having spent two weeks at this hotel we can highly recommend it. A very charming, old world hotel kept in a wonderful condition. The location was perfect for accessing all the sites of Rome and near to public transport. For example, the 64 bus which goes to the Vatican was just out the front door.

We stayed in the Standard room (23 square metres) and found it very spacious with its lovely high ceilings and beautiful parquet flooring. The beds are extremely comfortable, there is a walk in wardrobe and a large and modern bathroom that had a bath tub. Wi-fi was fast and reliable. Only comment was that the shampoo and soap were not very good.

The staff at reception were always friendly and helpful. We had two small maintenance issues that were resolved promptly and happily. Nothing was a problem to them.

It was delightful to enjoy the buffet breakfast every morning which was well catered for with good variety (favourites were bacon and croissants). The breakfast staff (Katarzyna, Imen and Marco) were so genuinely welcoming, helpful and a delight to engage with.

We ate dinner one evening at the hotel restaurant, it was disappointing and certainly didn't live up to everything else at the hotel and as there were many eating options nearby it was easy to eat out.

Hope to visit again and enjoy the unique offerings of this iconic hotel.

The hotel has a great location being 200m from the metro and very close to the railway station. Rooms are large and spacious, you get a real feel of staying in a classic stately home with antique furniture, paintings and sculptures. Bathroom equally spacious and clean. Generous buffet style breakfast, my only criticism being the fruit salad was tinned not fresh. Would certainly use again when visiting the city. 20 minutes walk to the Colosseum and forum, similar time metro ride to the Vatican. Highly recommended.

Staff kind, room clean, bed comportable - just nice hotel.

Breakfast (included in my room charge) time is from 7am but a breakfast pack was prepared for me to leave there before 7.

Regardless of my short stay, I enjoyed every thing.

Thank you,

This is our second stay at the Quirinale Hotel. We chose to again stay here for a number of reasons including a robust and authentic (free) Roman breakfast each day; located one block from a Metro stop and three blocks from Termini; the cleanliness of the hotel and, even by American standards, the spaciousness of the rooms. (And the Basilica two blocks up is a bonus!) We've stayed in hotels throughout Italy and London and have never seen rooms (and bathrooms) as large as the Quirinale's. This has become our first-choice hotel for staying in Rome. It's hard to find a hotel that is consistently this good - especially with regard to cleanliness. We stayed in a suite which had two separate rooms - great for traveling with families and for a bit of privacy. (Oh, and the breakfast host helped our youngest learn some Italian!)

Our recent visit to Rome saw us staying at the Hotel Quirinale. The hotel, an older establishment was from the start a real gem. It is in a great location, just a short walk from train station Termini. It is also a short walk to several wonderful sights. Taxis are easily had with the front desk summoning them in just a few minutes. Also a Metra stop is close by. From Termini we were able to take the Italiarail fast train to Florence and you can also access Venice or Milan at the same station.
The hotel itself offered us a wonderfully large room, even an outdoor sitting area. The beds pushed together were of a king size and the bathroom had a great shower soaking tub combo. We also had plenty of closet space and dresser space. A mini fridge and coffee service were also in the room. Breakfast downstairs was served daily with appropriate Covid precautions, and was an adequate offering to start your day, with hot selections, pastries, cereals, and beverages.
The hotel team was absolutely wonderful, the front desk, housekeeping, food service, everyone was very friendly and eager to help.
Our first time in Rome was definitely enhanced by our stay at Hotel Quirinale.
Mille Grazzi!

Overall the hotel was very nice. The rooms were very clean and the larger executive rooms are quite nice. The room felt luxurious and spacious for Rome. Housekeeping was proficient and very clean. The hotel is in a prime location via Nazionale. Hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. We were a groupof about 12 persons. Four from the group has no luggage as the airline lost it. The hotel was very good about assisting them in finding stores to get clothes and to wash what they had etc. The reason for the 3-star rating is the hidden charges and missed housekeeping. On the first night, they did not clean my room. I was so upset when I came back to find my room was not cleaned. No one apologized or cared. I paid for a full-service hotel, I expected daily housekeeping. At check out, I lost the key to the safe. They have VERY old-fashioned safes with a key. So you have to carry a bulky key with you all day. Somehow I lost it. The hotel charged an exorbitant amount to replace it. If you use the safe, make sure you don't lose that key or you will face a $150 EURO fine. Wifi was very slow, if you plan to get any work done. You may want to stay somewhere else. If I could do it again, id stay somewhere else.

Our room was a Jr. Suite. More then enough room for all 3 of us for our 8 day stay. The beds were arranged as two separate yet together to make it a king. The third bed was the couch/daybed which our teen was completely satisfied with. The beds were not especially comfortable but not terrible. The room and its amenities were all convenient and comfortable. Smart TV was a bonus as we could cast our movies from home during our down time. There was a beautifulchandelier in the room and large bay windows with marble bases; perfect for people watching or morning coffee. The front desk staff was courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. Anytime we needed a cab or walking directions, they called one for us or helped us out. The breakfasts were fresh and a welcome meal to start each day. The waitstaff and the food was impeccable. Friendly staff and fabulous, healthy foods. Room service was fast and fabulous. The hotel location was perfect for us as it is just a less than 10 minute walk to Roma Termini. There you can catch the train or the hop on hop off buses. Plenty of shopping nearby, including a market where you can buy fresh breads, olives and mozzerella cheese to enjoy back in your room. The hotel had live music entertainment nightly at the hotel bar. We would highly recommend this hotel. Should we decide to return to Rome, we will likely stay here again.

We deliberately chose the hotel,Old Italian style, Near Roma Termini train station, easy arrival by train from the airport. Everything is easily accessible from Via Nazionale. If you want to go running, Villa Borghese is also easily accessible.
The blonde lady who instructed us at breakfast was just great, despite the house being full. The friendly waiter also served us the good cafe latte without lactose. The small room size is really tiny, but everything is there and above all a fridge.
Room was very clean, the ladies from housekeeoing were also very friendly. So did all the men who were responsible for luggage.
Fortunately, the fitness area is rarely used, so it was possible to use an exercise bike and treadmill, as well as a fitness tower, no matter what time of day, it was great!

Upon arriving on a Monday at just after 1130 hours, impeccably dressed Andreo welcomed us and immediately granted access to room 454. We chatted about how he had twice been to Australia.

Using the period lift was a treat as were the long corridors with runners.

The room was excellent with high ceilings, effective aircon that did not go lower than 20 degrees due to a stupid goverment energy saving initiative and a desk, bedside tables and lamps of the era.

We could not work the TV. There was an unstocked minibar.

The bed gave great sleep but I wish a top sheet would be included. Pillows were good. The ability to close the window doors plus the period huge
⁵curtains meant light was effectively blocked.

Towels were proper bath size. The shower over bath had a curtain not potentially unsafe glass. There was a safety mat and a bath handrail. Good.

The bathroom had a bidet. Two spare toilet rolls and soap packs were pfovided. There was combined body wash/shampoo. Hot water instantly arrived. There was excellent lighting over the huge sink.

No problems with WiFi.

The breakfast area had indoor and delighful outdoor seating. There were six fruit juice varieties. Thankfully there was proper sweet blueberry yoghurt. The croissants were OK.

Emmanuele at checkout was helpful.

I liked how the hotel was three minutes' walk from Republica mtero station and one stop from Roma Termini. Buses run to the latter. A three day pass for €18 can be bought from ticket machines at metro stations.

We booked a 7 night stay here as part of our honeymoon. I had previously stayed here in 2014 and been very impressed, and though there were notable differences this time round due to COVID (much quieter, less staff around, no buffet breakfast, restaurant open shorter hours), our stay was nevertheless delightful.

Our room was large, with a garden view, and a welcoming bottle of wine as a honeymoon gift. The bed was the biggest bed I've ever seen, and very comfortable.

The staff were very polite and helpful, and the room was spotlessly clean. Hand gel was readily available in the public areas of the hotel, and everyone (staff and guests) followed the rules on face masks carefully.

The hotel is very well placed for walking to the main attractions in Rome (the Forum, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain etc) and is only a 5 minute walk to Termini train station, for trips further afield.

All in all, a lovely stay in a wonderful hotel!

Hi there, we were not in a suite, it was a triple room. There was no bath tub, just a shower. However, if you have booked a suite I’m sure this will have a bath tub. We emailed the hotel direct before arriving and requested a courtyard facing room. I would suggest you do this. I hope you have a lovely time. Regards

As my friend and I are young ladies in our 50's we had absolutely no trouble in or around the hotel. It is beautiful and at times even had a doorman. Very close to restaurants and shops. I would not hesitate to stay here again even if I was alone. It has small rooms, but clean and very comfortable and has a lovely garden. we saw no crime or trouble. You will hear sirens occasionally throughout the night but doesn't interrupt sleep. Saw one homeless man in a doorstep, but no issues.
