Located just 2 minute walk from metro Alcase. Good place to stay if you have rented a car as there is free parking all around hotel and easy to find parking spaces. The hotel offers underground parking for €11 per day. Reception staff offered good service. No bell desk available. So you need to carry own luggage to room. Rooms were spacious and perfectly done when we arrived. Housekeeping service is excellent. . Large mall with lots of eateries near the hotel. Recomend visiting good and cheap restuarant right behind hotel named Pulperia o Mino. Breakfast is good with large selection of breads and cold cuts, cereal etc. Coffee machine with fresh ground coffee available. Negetive points are no Aircon during winters. So open windows or room can get stuffy. Overall good stay.

The staff was outstanding, particularly Pilar at the front desk; however, all were friendly, helpful and effective. We arrived around 9:30 am and were offered a room available for immediate check-in! Price was relatively lower than comparable hotels in Madrid and reflected an excellent cost/quality assessment. Location is wonderful for easy access to the Metro Red Line 2 station about two blocks away. Room was cleaned well daily. Bed was comfortable, spacious and the pillows are thin; however, we liked them. I had the buffet breakfast twice and enjoyed it. Two other mornings I had a strong coffee and croissant at the bar and enjoyed it very much. The evening prior to our return to the US we decided to look for a meal nearby and found several nice bar/restaurants behind and a block away and settled for dinner at 8pm at a Galician place full of neighborhood clients. Food was good, wine was good and the prices lower than in central Madrid of course. We bought snacks and mineral water several times at two different neighborhood markets at the back of the hotel. There's a medium size mall about three blocks away with a huge supermarket and food court with multiple restaurants, including a MacDonald's, lol!

Disliked · The material condition of the room is not the best. Carpet around the bed is in bad shape and the bathroom, while overall nice, could be improved. Yes, you do hear noise from neighboring rooms and if this is an important issue for you, this may not be the place for you. We had large school groups of pre-teens and teens attending sports camps and it was very noisy in the hallways and surrounding rooms at times. Interestingly enough, it didn't bother us. We were gone most of the day anyway, normally returning late at night each day.

This is a good hotel in the middle of nowhere (at residential district).  It is located in 2 minute walk from Metro Station, but one of the lines (connecting to train station) was closed. The triple room was very big, and had 2 armchairs and one chair, a good size table, and a wardrobe. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was not bad (some cheeses and meats, some hot items, and fruits), and the price was right (8 euros).

Really enjoyed our recent stay. Location was very good and only a few minutes walk to the metro where it took about 20 minutes to get to the centre of Madrid. Room was really big and plenty of storage space. Shower in the bathroom was amazing. Breakfast was adequate and plenty of choice if you enjoy a continental breakfast. There was some fantastic bars only a few minutes walk from the hotel.
Only thing I found disappointing was the fridge in the room didn’t work very well and no coffee making facilities.

The hotel is situated perfectly close to Alsacia metro. The staff is super friendly and always is willing to help. There are some local cafeterias nearby and a big mall “Las Rosas”. City center is 15-20 mins away by metro as well. Great hotel and great value for your money!

The hotel is located a bit far from major attractions, but it is very close to the Alsacia Metro station (25 mins ride to the Royal Palace). The very modern Centro Comercial Las Rosas Mall is right next to the Metro station. The hotel building is very new, and everything works well. Rooms are good sized and the bed is comfortable. The included breakfast is quite okay with adequate choice. Staff are generally friendly and helpful.

I booked this hotel, as it had a good price quality ratio for €60 per night including breakfast. I knew it was not in the center, but we preferred this hotel over the hostals in the center. Madrid is a very big city, so it takes some time to travel. I searched the website of the hotel, but could not find good directions from the airport to the hotel. I mailed them twice, but no reaction. So we took the metro station Garcia Noblejas. On the site it was mentioned to go left, so we did. But after 5-10 minutes we asked a spanish lady for the hotel. It turns out that we were walking in the wrong direction. So you need to go right and that a steep 20 mniutes walk. In the hotel we asked for the fastest route to the center of madrid and we were surprised to hear that there is a metro station just acrcross the street! From the hotel 2 minutes walk to Alsacia. This metro takes you directly to the center without any transfer. From the hotel to the center is is less than 30 minutes.
Therefore I would choose the hotel again if I were in Madrid. Yes you can hear the traffic noises in the hotel room, but the room was spacious and the bathroom more than ok. The beds are not really soft, but we slept very good.

The staff is friendly/business like. The breakfast was ok/good.

Directions from the airport to the hotel are as follows:
From the airport it is line 8. Transfer at Colombia and take line 9 (arganda del rey) and transfer again at Principe de Vergara line 2 (las rosas) and get out at Alsacia. Take the exit to centro commercial. Outside you see a big roundabout go right look up at you see already the sign of Hotel. Cross the street and than you see the hotel on your left.
You can buy a metrobus ticket for €9.20 (10 tickets) + €2 airport fee at the airport. As long as you stay underground you can travel whole madrid for just €1 per ticket per person.

The metro is an ideal and very cheap way of transportation in Madrid. The trains are clean and feels very safe. As I was there with my daughter of 11 years old. And we travelled late.
Recommendations in Madrid:
The palace especially 1st wednesday of the month: change of the guard. .

We stayed here for 4 nights. Great location in Alsacia, nice and quiet and only 100m from the metro station, which takes you everywhere. Hotel staff very friendly and very helpful, massive room, minibar, bathroom with free toiletries, hairdryer in all rooms, beds were big but very hard & uncomfortable. We had a nice view inland on the side of the hotel. Continental breakfast was good and got more than what we paid for in whole, I would stay here again. Safe Hire 10 Euros which is given back to you at the end.

Metro directions from Airport; buy your ticket from the machines provided near the metro station located in the airport and get on the pink line (8) to Nuevos Ministerios, change onto the grey line (6 circular) to Cuatro Caminos, change onto the red line (2) to Las Rosas and get off at Alsacia. Metro maps can be collected at the metro information desk in the airport.
turn right out of the top of the station and walk to the right, you will see "HOTEL" above a building which is the Silken Torre Garden.

Tourist Tickets:
1 day = 8 Euros
2 day = 13.40 Euros
3 day = 17.40 Euros
Madrid is a wonderfild city, very vibrant and very busy, staying just out of the city is best as you can open your windows and wont be disturbed by anything. The metro is just like the London underground, very safe and you can use your tickets as often and as many times as you want each day (unlimited).

We are travelling to Madrid from San Sebastian by train. Is the hotel far away from the train station?
Answer from sleepybexhill

Using the metro, around 30 mins from Atocha station and 60 mins from Chamartin station - don't know which one you will arrive at. You need Alsacia metro station on the red line - it is very close to the hotel. Again, use the metro to get into the city - quick and easy.

Website says free parking nearby. Is it safe and how close is nearby?
Answer from Kunaboy
Madrid, Spain36 contributions53 helpful votes
The parking is free. It is just public street and curb parking. First come basis. However, the area is very safe. We parked on the street over several nights stay with never a problem. You can find ample parking spots on the same block as the hotel on any given day. The furthest away may be 2 blocks from the hotel.
