My wife & I booked the "Bayview Bunkie" at Lake on the Mountain Resort. This building is located at the bottom of the mountain right on the Bay of Quinte. This small, 2 level Bunkie is built onto the back of the garage, with the main house right beside it. The website photo's are accurate. The Bunkie unit is nicely laid out and attractive, with a comfortable queen sized bed and bathroom on the lower level as you enter and the kitchen/living area & deck up above. Its well equipped with fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, utensils and TV. A small deck with 2 Muskoka chairs is attached to the upper level with a really nice view of the Bay of Qunite. There is no AC so it can get very hot in the unit. 2 small fans are supplied which was helpful for sleeping at night. Getting down to the water where there is a small dock to sit on is a bit tricky as the hill is steep and ungraded. We ran into a problem with sewage smell in and around the unit. On our first night there we left all the windows open, the 2 fans running plus the bathroom exhaust fan on to try and dissipate it. I reported it to management in the morning who confirmed the site is on septic bed, but we were disappointed there was no follow up after they reported they would send someone out to check on the issue. Overall its a nice spot, good view and location but the smell of sewage kept it from being great. That needs to be addressed to ensure guest have a great experience.

Having driven by this resort last year, we decided to book a weekend this year. Since it was the first w/e in July we were pleased to get a room. Upon arrival we simply went to our room and our key was inside. This is all due to the Virus. Room was nicely appointed, very clean and the view from our 2nd floor balcony was outstanding. Used the Miller House patio next door for drinks and light lunch. Maggie was our server and she was great, worked long hours but was always very personable. For dinner we went to The Inn across the road. Service, food and staff are great. A little pricey but being able to sit on a patio with beautiful weather it was worth it. Check out at the end of our stay was very simple...just pack up and leave the key in the room. Highly recommend this resort to everyone, in particular for a romantic get away.

This was not our first visit to this resort, however, it was the first time we stayed in a cabin the lake. What a great decision. Cottage was approximately 10 feet from the lake edge, a gentle cool breeze all day long and nicely furnished. The cottage had all the amenities one requires. Enjoyed a great dinner at The Inn next door and our server Ryan was great. Also took the time to visit the bistro/patio across the road and had a very nice charcuterie board and our server Maggie was very pleasant and helpful. Hopefully we will return next year.

My husband and I recently spent 3 nights in Room 1 in The House Across the Road. The view of Aldolphus Reach is beautiful from the private deck, but beyond that the amenities as stated and overall a welcoming hospitality did not exist. The WIFI is not accessible and the old-school antenna TV offers one channel, sporadically (the Shopping Channel). Upon our arrival, I called the Inn to request that two additional pillows be brought to our room — they never arrived. The complimentary coffee was not provided, and no food/beverage services were open until 11 am (Picton is a 10 km drive into town for coffee/breakfast). Over our 3 days, we did not see nor hear from a staff/management member. We rarely provide poor reviews, but it seems the owner/management has forgotten the importance of customer service. Although we intend to spend more time in The County, it will not be at this establishment.

My husband and I enjoyed our few days at the resort for the first time. Quiet resort(even had a wedding one day and the reception was done by 8 p.m.). All units have a bbq but provide own coals. Not a lot to do but very relaxing if you enjoy sitting by the private lake with no motorized boats. Walk across the road to have a great view over drinks and chaucauterie items. We had the Treehouse with a beautiful enclosed sunroom but don't pick it if you can't do a winding, narrow stairs up to the bedroom(we found it difficult). Bathroom is small. Only connected one time intermittently to the internet in 4 days and only 2 tv stations (TVO and 1 other small station). Bring your own necessities (tp/shampoo etc) as given a small supply to start but there is no restocking/housekeeping not on site or towels changed which was fine for the 3 days there or short durations. Not air conditioned but the evenings were cool along with the floor fan.

We were suppose to be in Log Cabin 1 for July 18-20.

We showed up to our scheduled check-in time of 3pm only to be greeted by our room still being cleaned (that was ok, bc we are pretty understanding people). Once we got in, we quickly realized there was no air conditioning in the cabin. To be honest, we were pretty upset with this because no where on their website did it say that there wouldn’t be AC and if we knew, I would never have booked the cabin. My wife has medication that needed to be stored at room temperature (not fridge or freezer) and there is no possible way we could have stayed there for two days. On top of that, the second day, there was an air quality warning and it felt like 38 degrees. AC, like heating, should be considered a basic necessity. When I asked why it wasn’t advertised, I was told, “We don’t advertise that we don’t have air conditioning. Almost all accommodations in the County don’t have air conditioning”

This was our 6th time in Prince Edward County and ALL of the accommodations we have stayed at had air conditioning. I understand accommodation providers have strict cancellation policies; however there was no effort to rectify on how inconvenient this was for us. We had to frantically look for something else and thankfully Angeline’s Inn came through. I will never stay here and won’t be recommending this place to anyone. It’s too bad, bc we are huge fans of the Miller House.

These are great little cottages right on the lake. We stayed in Cottage 6 and it was very comfortable. We are definitely coming back. you could not ask for a more peaceful holiday. There are tourists daily at the adjacent Provincial park and the Restaurant and Bistro across the road, but those are easy to ignore. the closeness of Picton and other communities around make this a cottage stay with all the amenities... it is not off the grid, it is not a 5 star...you are camping in a cottage with a million-dollar view on both sides of the road. We had a fire every nigh except when it rained.
We brought our computer and HDMI to watch shows during the rain, as we had no channels on the TV. but the web site mentions that.
the Chretien's we lovely hosts and very accommodating.

Fully recommend staying here. Million dollar view. Lake is warm and very swimmable, bring a kayak, paddleboard canoe, whatever relaxes you and enjoy.

Delicious, tourtierre, the best fish dish too ! Even though we had reservations, as strongly suggested, we stopped in earlier for a drink. The rainy day deterred some guests allowing us to dine earlier!

Just lovely. Beautiful view. Lovely staff. Great food. Especially like they made exception for our 'professional registered service dogs'. I like that they asked to see ID cards for the k9s. I hate pets being called service dogs. We always have paperwork

Very nice location. Right on the lake. We rented a log cottage. Very rustic and cute. We had fridge, stove, microwave and coffee maker. There were two restaurants a stones throw away which were great! 10 minute drive to Picton. We would go back again.
